Halo 4 Spartan Ops Weekly Challenges - 12/31/12

The Challenges:
Shield Break! - Kill 70 Jackals. - 1500 XP
Jackals are probably some of the most annoying enemies to kill in large numbers in Spartan Ops because they are so damn hard to find in large numbers. Basically, any Spartan Ops mission that takes place in Sniper Alley is a good option as long as you are fighting Covies and not Prometheans. I would complete the other two challenges first and get what Jackals you can from them and then move onto this challenge. As well, "The Didact's Gift" (Chapter five, Episode Four) has a large number of Jackals but less than seventy, for sure. Regardless, this challenge will take at least two games or more to complete.

The Challenges:
Dawn Madness - Complete Dawn on Legendary difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 6117 X
My guess for this week's campaign challenges was that we were going to start seeing LASO run-throughs, but that has apparently been saved for later as we build up to them. Now, Dawn is the first level of the campaign and also the easiest. The skulls we need to have on are Mythic (Double enemy health), Tilt (Weaknesses are weaker and strengths are stronger), Tough Luck (Enemies dodge a lot), and Thunderstorm (All enemies are upgraded to the next level). This will cause the most trouble with Elites as they will be much stronger and much deadlier, though all other Covies can be killed with a simple headshot. You do not have to do this solo so grab a friend and you can breeze through this in no time flat.

The Challenge:
Spray and Pray - Get 200 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon. - 7000 XP

Do you see a common theme this week? I do. Since 343i is have an extreme focus on their "Halo 4 Infinity Challenge" of which this Waypoint Weekly challenge is a part of, they will try to help you along as much as possible. Now, in Halo 4, Automatic Loadout Weapons include the AR (Assault Rifle), the Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. You will need to focus on constantly using these weapons as the goal is to get this done as fast as possible to get on the leader boards for the Halo 4 Infinity Challenge as fast as possible to get some prizes. Those leaderboards can be seen here. For the rest of us, aim for thirty automatic weapon kills a day to have this done before the end of the week. Small maps should be your focus as all the Automatic Loadout Weapons are short range.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
So, sparing this one challenge, you are primarily in multiplayer matchmaking today with the other three challenges. This challenge, asking you to score a hundred and twenty kills in Firefight Matchmaking, A single game in the Score Attack playlist, like 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse, will get you about a hundred and twenty kills so be prepared to play one more if you happen to fall just short.

Explosive Ordnance Distribution - Earn 7 kills with ordnance weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
Explosive Ordnance Weapons in Reach include the Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, the Concussion Rifle, and the Plasma Launcher. These weapons are not easy to find anymore since the Action Sack playlist was taken down. Now, your best chance is the third phase of the Invasion gametype in which you will have access to either the Concussion Rifle or the Grenade Launcher. You will have two chances at this if the game is pretty even and you need seven kills in a single game. Get to it.

The Challenges:
Spray and Pray - Get 15 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon. - 1250 XP
Automatic Loadout Weapons in Halo 4 include the AR (Automatic Rifle), the Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. The Needler and the Chain Gun do not count for these challenges as you cannot equip them in loadouts. These fifteen kills, luckily, do not need to be in a single game and can be earned over the entire day. Whichever weapon you choose will depend on several things, the first of which being what weapons you have unlocked, the next being the type of combat you prefer. The Storm Rifle has the tightest spread but is the weakest while the Suppressor is the most powerful but is the most inaccurate. The AR sits in the middle being the best compromise to both weapons with a decently concentrated spread and good power behind it. I would stick to objective gametypes as they will allow you to get in close quarters and score these kills.

Quick on the Trigger - Earn 3 Combat Skill Medals in a single match. - 2650 XP
Combat skill medals, for those who do not already know of them, include the Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper Medals. Granted, a lot of these are based off of luck, a few can be farmed, namely the Reload This and Headcase medals, which you will be best off trying for with a Precision Weapons (i.e. DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Covenant Carbine). Now, you need to score three in a single match but this is not really a difficult challenge if you are in a long match with a lot of players. Dominion would be my preferred gametype, though you can also have great success with Capture the Flag as those games typically go the entire time.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 12/30/12

The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
You should have no trouble at all completing this challenge today as it only wants you to score a hundred kills in whatever mode of Reach you wish. Most notably, the "Weapon Swap" challenge will be the one that really does this for you since it has you scoring ten sprees in a single Firefight Matchmaking game. A single game will get you a hundred and twenty kills and completely take care of this challenge.

Double Double - Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
A Double Kill is earned in multiplayer Matchmaking when you score two kills within four seconds of each other. This is the most common type of multikill and probably one you get often. Getting two in a single game is not really hard but, if you are having problems with it, head to Grifball. You can probably get about fifteen or so if you wanted to.

The Challenges:
In Your Face - Earn 12 CQC Medals. - 14700 XP
Strangely, there are only three close quarters combat medals in Halo 4. These are the Melee, Beatdown, and Bulltrue Medals, though Assassinations do not count for this challenge even though they should. Now, you simply need twelve today, not twelve in a single game, but you are being directed to win nine Flood matchmaking games in War Games for the "Infected" challenge. That is a great place to get Melee and Bulltrue Medals. You can probably take in about five or six a game so expect this challenge to take about two to three games to complete. Regicide is another good option as long as you are on a small map.

The Challenges:
One, Two, Three, Four... - Earn 9 Multikill medals. - 1500 XP
A multikills in Halo 4 is earned when you score multiple kills each within four and a half seconds of each other. These are decidedly less common in Halo 4 than they were in Reach so you really need to set up the right gametype and such to score them. Now, having access to large number of enemies and heavy weapons is a great way to score multikills. Dominion has always fared well for me on a map like Vortex. Standard Infinity Slayer will likely make progress on this for you as well. It is all up to personal preference and wherever you have had success in the past. Remember, you just nine overall, not in a single game.

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 5500cR
Well, to be honest, the other challenges today will not get you to a hundred and fifty kills, by a long shot. You will get, maybe, somewhere near forty or fifty kills. This means that, for the remaining kills, you need to just play and have fun. The easiest way to score kills will be in playlists like Grifball, Invasion, or Multi Team, though Grifball will be the fastest. Just have fun and score kills. That is all there is to it.

No 'I' in Team - Earn 8 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
An assist is earned when you deal forty percent health damage to an enemy that is later killed by someone else. The key to scoring assists is to stay near someone who can steal the kill whenever possible. Multi Team ends up being pretty much the best playlist for this challenge since they are about nine different targets for you and nine different people who can steal the kill to give you an assists. Eight in a game will take some work though so make sure you are actively stopping once you have damaged someone, even if it kills you, so you can score the assist.

The Challenges:
Game Over, Man! - Complete 7 matchmaking War Games matches. - 2750 XP
So, this challenge is a lot easier than it ever was in Halo Reach for one simple reason; you do not actually have to be in the game from start to finish for it to count. Really, you only need to be in there at the end. This means that join-session-in-progress games will count for this challenge as long as you are in there once the game finishes. Work on the "To Be Precise" challenge first and then move on to whatever games you please to finish off this challenge. Remember, that getting kicked, disconnected, or quitting from games will cause them not to count for this challenge. Just need seven.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, I'm going to go out on a limb today and guess that this challenge is taken care of because it is Firefight Thursday. I mean, just completing one game in the Score Attack playlist, which gets you an average of a hundred and twenty kills will complete this challenge. Not much to say beyond that. Get to it.

Watersports - Kill 100 enemies on Waterfront on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Waterfront is one of the more annoying maps because there really is no set defensible position for you to set up in. Enemies come from all sides and all the structures have multiple entrances. Now, a hundred kills can be obtained in a single game and will not take too much work. You can get this done while working on "Hyper Lethal Vector" by just picking this map. Good luck.

The Challenges:
Rolling Thunder - Earn 7 Killing Spree medals. - 1600 XP
A Killing Spree in War Games is earned when you score five kills in a row uninterrupted by death. These are not as common in Halo 4 as they were in Reach, at least for me, but being in the right playlist will help a lot. First off, Dominion has been the best gametype for me in terms of getting sprees, especially on Vortex where you can get in a Wraith and just sit back and defend your base while attacking the middle base. I would expect to get two or so sprees per game and, luckily, you will be playing a lot of games for the "Dominator" challenge so this one is pretty much taken care of. Flood and Regicide can also be good playlists for Sprees as well as Big Team Infinity Slayer if you get luck and get a tank.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 12/26/12

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
This one is pretty much covered today. The "Demon" challenge has you scoring about two-hundred and forty kills or more while "The Magic Number" has you hitting about eighty to ninety kills. Finally, "Points Pyramid" will probably bring in around fifty to sixty kills. Regardless of the other challenges, this one is pretty much taken care of.

Demon - Kill 50 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Elite kills are probably the most rewarding, in terms of point and satisfaction, but are not always the easiest to come by. Now, the best gametype in which to get Elite kills is 2X Score Attack as the final wave is always twenty or so Elites. However, this means that you will need to play three games pretty much all the way through to complete this challenge. It sucks, but it is the easiest way. I would suggest smaller maps like Courtyard or Corvette.

The Challenges:
Got Backup - Get 12 kills with a Secondary Weapon. - 1250 XP
Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Bolt Shot. You are only really likely to score kills with the Magnum and Boltshot as the Plasma Pistol will likely just end up getting you killed. Now, you just need twelve kills over the day, not in a single game. The best place to get these kills, however, will be in a gametype like SWAT where you can just score easy headshots. If that is your plan, you will want a smaller map like Adrift or Haven, since the Magnum will get raped by a DMR or BR on the larger maps. If you are just playing normally, twelve secondary weapon kills will likely take three to four games to complete.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, this challenge, for the first time in a while, will be covered by another challenge. You will need to complete one or two games for the "Heroic Court" challenge which will score you either a hundred and twenty or two-hundred and forty kills. This means that you do not need to worry about hitting a hundred kills, unless I am terribly mistaken. Don't think I am, however.

Heroic Court - Kill 125 enemies on Overlook on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
So, this challenge kind of sucks because it is just out of reach to complete in a single Arcadefight game. In a typical game you will score about a hundred and twenty kills, probably one or two less as enemies will commit suicide. That will leave you just short, unfortunately, of the a hundred and twenty-five kills you need for this challenge. This means a second game will be required. For both games, I would pick 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse as they are simply the easiest.

The Challenges:
Deft Hand - Earn 5 Combat Skill Medals. - 1300 XP
Combat Skill medals, as we all probably do not remember due to them being so obscure, include Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper medals. You need four of these overall today and they do not need to be in a single game. Use precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Sniper) to score Headcase (headshot on a running target) medals and then use grenades when you are near death for the From the Grave medal. Reload This is pretty much dependent on the other player but people need to reload their weapons. Killyjoys and Showstopper are a bit more rare and harder to get so do not focus on them. Should take a game or two to complete.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 12/24/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 40 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
So you have one other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today, which is asking you to score three sprees in Matchmaking today. Well, that will likely not get you to forty kills if you go the Living Dead playlist as it will be done pretty quick. Once you have that challenge done, I would head to the Grifball playlist so you can score a bunch of kills extremely easily. If you are not hitting Living Dead though, completing that challenge might get this done for you.

A Satisfied Thirst - Kill 250 Grunts in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1875cR
Well, along with the one other Firefight Matchmaking challenge today, "Killagruntjaro!", this one will be pretty damn easy. Grunts are the easiest enemies to kill and they can simply be headshot for the easy kill. Gruntpocalypse in the Score Attack playlist will allow you to score about a hundred and twenty kills per game in the Score Attack playlist. Might take about three games as you will likely end up just short of two-hundred and fifty kills with two games.

The Challenges:
Grenade Happy! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Cloud, Catch and Tough Luck skulls. - 2500 XP
Well, another week an another challenge asking you to complete a level of Halo 4 solo Now we are up to three skulls on a mission but these are pretty simple skulls that will not affect your playthrough too much. The Cloud Skull will disable your radar, the Catch Skull will cause enemies to throw more grenades, and the Tough Luck Skull will cause enemies to dodge, evade, and go berserk more often. As usual, this is easiest to complete on the introductory level, Dawn, since it has no Prometheans and the Covenant presence is pretty light. As well, you can also load up the mission Shutdown and skip through most of the level via this technique. However, you will still need to fight a bunch of Elites and Hunters if you follow this method, so be warned.

The Challenge:
Got Backup - Get 200 kills with a Secondary Weapon. - 7000 XP

So we have reached the second week of this Infinity Challenge and, after going for two-hundred kills last week, you need two-hundred kills with secondary weapons this week. Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Boltshot. You will need to actively try for kills with these weapons as they will not come to you as easily as they would with the DMR or the BR or such. I would avoid the Plasma Pistol as it will probably just get you killed so stick to the Magnum Pistol or the Boltshot if you are on a smaller map. Team SWAT is one of the best playlists for the Magnum Pistol if you get a map like Adrift or Haven. The first ones to complete this challenge who are signed up for the Infinity Challenge will apparently win prizes. Check the standings here.

The Challenges:
Spray and Pray - Get 15 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon. - 1250 XP
Automatic Loadout Weapons in Halo 4 include the AR (Assault Rifle), Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. Since this specifically indicates Loadout Weapons, the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon), Needler, or turrets will count for this challenge. You only need fifteen kills today, not in a single game, so this is a lot easier. Another bright side is that automatic weapons in Halo 4 are absolutely deadly close up, way more so than Reach. If you are at range, do short, controlled bursts to whittle down your target. You will want smaller maps, so standard Infinity Slayer may be your best bet for this challenge if you are looking to get it done fast. Otherwise, just play normally and use automatic loadout weapons when you can.

We Are The Champions - Win 9 matchmaking Slayer matches. - 2750 XP
This is the hardest challenge of the day, and that includes the Weekly Challenges as well. Hopefully you have today off so you can spend time in matchmaking. Slayer gametypes are in the Big Team Infinity Slayer, Infinity Slayer, SWAT, and the Crimson DLC playlist. Join-session-in-progress games will count for this challenge if you win them so you will hopefully get lucky and placed on some winning teams. Personally, I prefer the gametypes with smaller teams since that gives me more control and better chance of being on the winning team. Free-for-all is something that I would straight out avoid. Expect that this may take up to eighteen games to complete.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, as per the usual, when the required number of kills for this challenge are so low, you will not need to worry about this challenge today. The "Scoped" challenge will get about two-hundred and forty kills, obviously taking care of this challenge. Only question is whether you will complete this at the end of the first game or the start or the second.

The Magic Number - Complete 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Well, with the other challenges today, you will likely not hit seven games. It just will not happen. This means that you need to go play some games for fun and just relax to finish off these challenges. Play with friend, or whatever, but make sure you do not get kicked, disconnect, or quit because those game will then not count for this challenge. Good luck.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 12/22/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, this means that you will be playing a lot of Firefight today. As you will typically get about a hundred and twenty kills per game of Firefight Matchmaking, this means you will need to play four games to complete this challenge. You will likely be playing two or so games for the "J.H. Death Machine" challenge so just need to finish off this challenge afterwards.

Throwing Fireballs - Kill 2 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
Well, you have two choices of grenades in Reach, the Fragmentation (Frag) grenade and the Plasma (Sticky) grenade. To score grenade kills easily, it helps to have a lot of opponents in a small space. Therefore, Multi Team is likely your best option for this challenge as you will have a ton of enemies, who are also attacking each other, that you can simply lob grenades at. A single game should get this done for you.

The Challenges:
Game Over, Man! - Complete 4 matchmaking War Games matches. - 1250 XP
Well, over all, easier challenges today though it is odd that we get the easier ones on the Weekend and the hard ones on the Weekdays. Regardless, this challenge is just asking you to complete four games today. This just means that you need to be in the match when the final score is tallied. Join-session-in-progress games will count towards this challenge and they can be any gametype in any playlist that you wish. Pick whatever gametype you wish but I would recommend trying to complete the "Fully Automated" challenge while getting your games complete as well.

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
Well, it is a multiplayer Matchmaking day, to absolutely no one's surprise and this challenge, asking you to score seventy-five kills, will likely not be covered by the other challenges today, but there is a chance. It all depends on how long "Streaky Shooter" takes you. Regardless, if you fall short, head to Grifball where you can score thirty or so kills per game on average. Pretty easy at that point.

Sweep the Leg - Perform an Assassination in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
To perform an assassination, you need to come up behind an opponent and hold the melee button. This will trigger an assassination animation that needs to mostly complete for it to count. Team Snipers as always been my go-to playlist for assassinations and that still holds true. Assassinations on inclines and in the air go faster so try for those if you keep getting show-stopped. Should take a single game to complete.

The Challenges:
Deadeye - Kill 12 Players with a headshot. - 1350 XP
So, almost every day, there is a challenge to get a certain number of wins in a specific gametype and then another challenge to get kills in a specific way in like via headshots or precision weapons. Getting redundant at this point, isn't it? Regardless, to score headshots you need a headshot capable weapon which includes the DMR, the BR, the Sniper Rifle, the Magnum Pistol, the Covenant Carbine, the Beam Rifle, the Light Rifle, and the Binary Cannon. You do not even need these twelve kills in a single game so this challenge should not be too difficult. SWAT is likely your best friend as all of your kills in that gametype will be headshots. Expect a game or two to complete.

The Challenges:
Creeping 'n Crawling - Kill 100 Crawlers. - 2500 XP
So, sorry about the long delay in getting these up, but shit happens and I have to take time out to deal with it. Now, however, I have time to deal with these challenges. This challenge, asking you to kill a hundred Crawlers will actually take the longest of all these three. Crawlers are typically kills, even on Easy if you prefer it, with a simple headshot or multiple melees. I found that the first two Chapters of Episode five gave a decently number of Promethean kills. Chapter Two, especially, gives you tons of chances for these kills. Playing through Chapter One and Two on whatever difficulty you please solo will get this challenge done for you.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 12/20/12

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Firefight today, as usual per a Thursday, and you, as usual, have this single challenge asking you for a bunch of kills. Unlike most other days, however, this challenge will not be covered by the other challenge only just barely. The other challenges today will likely get you about a two-hundred and forty kills. This means that you need to play at least one more game to get the remaining ten kills. I would recommend Crashsite.

Scoped - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with precision weapons. - 2000cR
Precision weapons in Reach include the DMR, the Sniper Rifle, the Needle Rifle, and the Covenant Focus Rifle. For most of your kills, you are best off using the DMR in the right gametype. For most, that will be Gruntpocalypse in the Score Attack playlist. You can eliminate every Grunt you see with a simple headshot and you can score a hundred and twenty kills in a single game.

The Challenges:
To Be Precise - Get 15 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon. - 1250 XP
Precision Loadout weapons in Halo 4 include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Covenant Carbine, and the Light Rifle. These are all the precision weapons that you can add to a customized loadout. Now, some playlists, like SWAT, have you exclusively using these weapons and these are your best bets for completing these challenges. As all these games require sixty kills now, but your average number of kills should jump up a little putting fifteen just in range of a regular game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts.

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
Considering that there is only one other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today, and the other challenges do not even touch this, you will have to go out of your way to get these kills. "The Dream Shake" will probably get you about twenty or so kill but then you still need to work on the Weekly Challenge. Just play and have fun until you hit the kills you need. Grifball will be great for this challenge.

A Satisfied Thirst - Kill 200 Grunts in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Gruntpocalypse is the easiest solution for this challenge. Go into the Score Attack playlist and one of your options will always be Gruntpocalypse. A single game will get you about a hundred and twenty kills. This means that you will need to play two games of Gruntpocalypse to reach these two-hundred Grunt kills.

The Challenges:
Dominator - Win 7 matchmaking Dominion matches. - 2750 XP
So, my guess is that the people at 343i actually really hate us. Overall, with these two challenges, you will need to score ten wins today. Kind of a dick move since these Dominion games will take a while. So, Dominion is a large map gametype consisting of two team attempting to control three bases. The capture and continued control of these bases will score your team points and you want to reach four-hundred to end the game. As well, you can take all three bases and then eliminate the entire team to end the match. Vortex is my favorite map for this gametype as it is the most simplistic and streamlined, as well as allowing for control of all three bases quite easily. Make sure you have a good communicative team that knows when to defend and attack the bases. Seven games will take a while to win so be ready to play at least fourteen games.

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
You have challenges in all the major game modes today; Firefight Matchmaking, Campaign, and, of course, multiplayer Matchmaking. The "Demon" challenge will bring in more than two-hundred kills on its own, the "Cannon Fodder" challenge will bring in about a hundred or so kills, and the "A Solid Outing" challenge will likely get you about fifteen to thirty kills. Well more than the a hundred needed for this one, wouldn't you say?

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2800cR
The easiest way to score Elite kills in Firefight Matchmaking is to have a gametype where you are super powerful and the gametype has a bunch of Elites. Luckily, one such gametype does exist and that gametype is 2X Score Attack in the Score Attack playlist. Now, in the final wave of 2X Score Attack you will fight about twenty or so Elites. This means you will need to games to complete this challenge. Also try for a larger map in the hopes that you get a drop-pod of Elites in case any to make up for any lost kills.

The Challenges:
Drop Bears - Assassinate 3 Players in a single match. - 2750 XP
We get this challenge about once a week, right? Well, here it is again and, as usual, you will need to score three assassination in a single game. You can trigger an assassination animation by holding the melee button behind an enemy. The animation needs to mostly complete for it to count. Now, Team Slayer Pro had been the best playlist for me to get assassinations, but that is now gone so we need other playlists. I have had luck in FFA Regicide on maps like Haven or Adrift (more Haven than the other one) which means stick to smaller maps. Dominion might be worthwhile for some, but that maps are much larger so you will likely need to hide in the bases.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 12/17/12

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 25 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, you will not need to work for this one today. There are two other multiplayer Matchmaking challenges below, one asking you to win five games and the other asking you to play ten games. Those should pretty well take care of you getting twenty-five kills. In fact, you should have scored twenty-five kills in the first two to three games that you play. No pressure though.

That Pink Mist - Kill 200 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Due to how playlists have changed around since 343i took over Reach, this challenge will now be extremely time consuming to complete. You will need to play in the standard Firefight playlist since you need the later rounds that bring about the Mythic skull. Otherwise, many enemies will die before the Supercombine kills them. Now, aim for Arcadefight as the FRG loadout also has a Needler. Expect for this to possibly take three to four games to complete as you need to compete with other players for kills.
