Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/31/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
You should have no problem completing this challenge today as everything is taken care of by the other challenges as just "Hyper Lethal Vector" has you getting two hundred kills. If you do not know, two hundred is greater than one hundred. Thanks for paying attention during that math lesson which was hopefully completely unneeded. Move along now, the other challenges actually need work.

Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 200 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
So, I am encouraging you to play a bunch of games of Sniper Attack for the "Flat Tire" challenge. Hopefully, having a Sniper will help facilitate getting headshots. You need two hundred headshots over the course of however many games you play today so if you fall short while working on the "Flat Tire" challenge, loading up a game of Gruntpocalypse should be just the thing you need to finish off this challenge. Remember, just aim for the head, squeeze the trigger, and this challenge should eventually be done with relative easy.

Survivor - Earn 5 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is awarded every ten kills without a death in between. You can get up to five before the amounts needed for the sprees change drastically. Since you only need five sprees for the challenge, you can stay alive the entire game, no need to die on purpose to get more sprees as is often needed. Getting sprees in Firefight Matchmaking is exceedingly easy, so there is no need for any real strategy. Just get into the game and start killing some Covies.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
And, again, this irritating challenge which we have already had once this week. Thanks, 343i. Regardless, expect to play about two to three games to accomplish this one. You will want to aim for Sniper Attack on Holdout in the Score Attack playlist. Holdout has static Banshee spawns, which bring out a Banshee about every two and a half to four minutes. You can get up to five per game, but expect three. You will want to make the game last as long as possible so you can get as many kills as possible. Kite around the remaining one or two enemies at the end if need be. Rocket and FRG Attack are also good alternative. Do not do 2X Score Attack as those kills will not count in most situations.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/30/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
A hundred and eighty enemies kills should be pretty much taken care of today with the other challenges. "Killagruntjaro" will have you scoring about a hundred or so kills in Firefight Matchmaking if you go the full game route, "Return of the Mack" will have you getting another hundred or so kill in campaign, and "Single Wield" will have you scoring at least seventy-seven kills in multiplayer Matchmaking but likely more. Looks to me like this challenge does not need any worry. Move along.

Killagruntjaro - Earn 7 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
This challenge should take you no time at all and can be completed in a single game of Firefight Matchmaking. Now, in Firefight Matchmaking, a multikill is any number of kills (up to ten) separated by about one second. The multikills should be very easy to come by especially with Grunts. Therefore, my advice is for you to play a game of Gruntpocalypse or Crashsite for this challenge. Crashsite may be the better option as once you get the multikills you need you can just die or let the Generator explode to end the game legitimately.

Return of the Mack - Kill 35 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 3000cR

I find it easiest to run through ONI: Swordbase for this challenge. You can likely just run through it once and get all these Elite kills. I would also recommend that you run through on Heroic difficulty. The reason for this is because your AI teammates tend to steal kills on the lower difficulties. On the higher difficulties, they will get kills but you have more time to deal damage to the enemy first. If you do deal damage to an enemy and then it is killed by an AI Teammate, that kill will actually count as yours so try to put fire on as many Elites as possible. Should be done with a single playthrough but, if not, continue onto Nightfall to finish it off.

Single Wield - Earn 77 kills with small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2800cR
So this will be the challenge today that will take up a lot of your time. Small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking include the Magnum Pistol, the Needler, and the Plasma Pistol and none of these weapons are ideal in a large number of playlists. The best playlists for these are Team SWAT and Multi Team. In team SWAT, you will want to go for SWAT Magnums or just use the pistol if you get regular SWAT. In Multi Team, go for Elite Slayer so you can spawn with the Needler. Otherwise, Multi Team is still a decent playlist in which to score kills as you can just use the Magnum Pistol on groups of people who are fighting each other or meleeing. Expect this to take at least four to seven games however. Depends on how lucky you are with your gametypes.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/29/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
This challenge should be very well taken care of today since you will need to play in Firefight Matchmaking for the "Flat Tire" challenge. A hundred kills should be obtained in a single match in the Score Attack playlist or in the regular Firefight playlist, though you are more likely to end up short in the later option. If you do somehow get "Flat Tire" finished but are short kills, try a game of Crashsite in the Score Attack playlist which will allow you to get the kills you need and then end the game legitimately by dying or letting the generator explode.

Flat Tire - Kill 5 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
This is really one of the more annoying challenge to be in Reach ever since they changed how enemies spawn in the Firefight (or Firefight Arcade as it was once known) playlist. Used to be that, on certain maps enemies would come in by dropships all the time and then vehicles would spawn too. Not anymore, however, so static vehicle spawns are our only hope. One level has that feature (Installation 04 does as well, but not everyone has the DLC) and that level is Holdout. Every two to four minutes a Banshee will spawn from either side of the map. You can get up to five per game but expect to get three as long as you make the game last as long as possible. In terms of gametypes, you will want Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. 2X Score Attack does not work for this challenge as the kills will not count for some reason. Expect this to take two games.

Roast 'em, Toast 'em - Kill 35 enemies while jet-packing in Exodus on Normal. - 3000cR

So, this one again. If I may, allow me to regurgitate the guide for this overdone challenge: this challenge just needs to be done in campaign on the level Exodus on at least normal difficulty. Now, I would load up Rally Point Alpha as that will start you right at the jet-packs. Do note that you must be actively using the jet-pack armor ability as you score the kill. Not falling, not just in the air, and it does not matter when you threw the grenade. Thirty-five kills may take a while so be prepared to play through this level twice.

Home Field Advantage - Win 2 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2100cR
So this is the lone challenge today that has you in multiplayer Matchmaking but fear not as you will likely need to work on the Weekly Challenge if you did not complete it yesterday. You will be playing at least two games but likely three or four. If you have problems getting wins in Grifball, do not play it then and instead play a different gametype that you enjoy and do get wins in. Remember to stick to playlists with only two teams and now more than five players per team as this will increase your odds of winning. Also, try to play with friends as you will likely communicate with them better.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 5/28/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 40 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
This challenge, like the next one, is pretty much laughable and are really freebies for whoever happens to play today. This challenge is asking you to score forty kills while playing twenty games today. If you are complete horrible and only score two kills per game today, you will get this challenge. That is how laughable this is. Do not worry about it and focus on the bigger challenges.

Multiplier - Earn 3 multikills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3000cR
See the Weekly Challenge. No point in writing anything up here. Move along, move along.

The Love of the Game - Complete 20 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4200cR
So, besides the Weekly Challenge, this is the big challenge of the day and it will require a lot of time. I guess, they are basing this challenge on the fact that most Americans have today off for Memorial Day. That sucks for people who are not American, but I will not complain. Now, since you already have to play twenty games today, my advice is to make most of those games Grifball and just finish off the Weekly Challenge. You will likely have the Weekly Challenge done in shorter time and then you will need to move on and player other gametypes that you enjoy. Just try to have fun with it.

Single Wield - Earn 20 kills with small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Small arms in multiplayer Matchmaking include the Magnum Pistol, the Needler, and the Plasma Pistol. Not really a wide range of weapons, but we will be mostly using the Needler and the Magnum Pistol. Multi Team or Team SWAT will likely be great playlists for this challenge. You will want to pick gametypes that help your cause so SWAT Magnums and Elite Slayer are some great options cause one will only let you use the Magnum Pistol and the other will let you spawn with a Needler. Now, these twenty kills do not need to be done in a single game which is great and makes life a lot easier for everyone. Expect this to take two games.

The Weekly Challenge:
Multiplicative - Earn 200 Multikills in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. - 25000cR

So, not an overly difficult Weekly Challenge if you know what to do and what playlist in which to do it. First off, a multikill is when you score multiple kills all within four seconds of each other. How many multikills you get will pretty much be based off of the medals you recieve. Score a Triple Kill and that is two multikills and score a Killionaire and you get nine multikills. After a Killionaire, just stop and let it reset cause you are wasting kills at that point. Now, your magic playlist for this challenge will be the Grifball playlist and I hope that is a surprise to no one. In Grifball, you can rack up insane numbers of kills and multi kills. You should be able to get about fifteen to twenty multikills per game. This means that over the course or a week, you will need to play about ten to fifteen games of Grifball, and that is ignoring all the Multikills you will score from other challenges. I would actually recommend getting this done today as you need to play twenty games for "The Love of the Game" challenge anyway. Good luck.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/27/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
You should have no problem amassing these kills today due to the other Daily Challenges and the Weekly Challenge. Just the "Climb Points Mountain" will likely get you most of these kills and the you still have the at least two games of Score Attack which will be giving you more than a hundred kills each. On top of all that you may have games left to play for the Weekly Challenge, which will net you several hundred kills as well. The point here is that this is very well taken care of, so move along.

Demon - Kill 30 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2400cR
Elites will always be, pretty much, the hardest enemies to kills in Firefight Matchmaking. Now, you will need to kill thirty of them today, but that can be really easily done if you know the right playlist. First off, if you have games to play for the Weekly Challenge still, hit those first as you will likely score some Elite kills in those. Once you are done with that, or only need about five more waves, jump into the Score Attack playlist and go for 2X Score Attack. At the last wave of this gametype you will face about twenty or so Elites which should be enough to help you finish off this challenge. If not, play one more game and you should be all set.

Climb Points Mountain - Score 2,000,000 points on any Firefight map. - 3000cR
So, clearly, this challenge will not be completed in Firefight Matchmaking as you could never possibly amass that many points in a single game online. What you will need to do is create a custom Firefight game, with specific settings. I would direct you to file shares online, but that is no longer an option until 343 Industries get their summer update pushed out to Waypoint. Regardless, set up a game where you have unlimited ammunition, unlimited Armor Abilities, are invulnerable, do not have to reload, all enemies are Elites Generals, and the bonus round enemies are Heretic Elites. Set the game to be unlimited sets and just play until you hit two million points. If you already have gametypes like this that were used for the original Reach Achievement, "Heat In The Pipe," you can use it for this challenge as well.

Roast 'em, Toast 'em - Kill 35 enemies while jet-packing in Exodus on Normal. - 3000cR

I still have yet to figure out what is the infatuation with jet-packing in this game. It does nothing but make you an easier target. Regardless, this stuff just needs to be done in campaign on the level Exodus on at least normal difficulty.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/26/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 4000cR
So you will be playing at least one game in multiplayer Matchmaking and another game in Campaign. However, those will only get you around eighty to a hundred kills at most. Now, you likely need to work on the Weekly Challenge which is best done by playing in the Firefight playlist. The Firefight playlist will typically give you about a hundred kills per game. Three to four games will be enough to get this challenge done unless your team does not make it through all the rounds. Smaller maps should be faster games and you are more likely to complete the game before time expires.

T-Hug it Out - Kill 7 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
This is the only challenge of the day that is asking you to play at all in multiplayer Matchmaking, asking you to score seven kills via close quarters combat. For those of you who don't remember, close quarters kills are those with the Shotgun, Gravity Hammer, Energy Sword, Melee, Beat Down, or Assassination. The playlist for this is Grifball as it allows you to get all but one of those kills types (Shotgun) in the game. As a matter of fact, those are the only kills you can get. In a typical game of Grifball you will likely get thirty to forty kills which means you will definitely hit seven. Get to it.

Cannon Fodder - Kill 50 infantry-class foes in the Campaign today. - 2000cR

So, in the Halo Reach campaign enemies are divided up by classes. These are ultimately useless titles as the various classes are actually divvied up by species. Grunts are infantry, Jackals and Skirmishers are Specialist, Elites are Leaders, and Brutes apparently are not part of any class that has been mentioned. Regardless, this means you will need to kill fifty Grunts on whatever level you choose. Winter Contingency is a very easy level for this challenge as there are tons of Grunts but you can also try levels like ONI: Swordbase or Tip of the Spear. Personally, I will be running through Winter Contingency. Should get this done in a single game.

Just a Shower - Complete any Campaign mission on Normal or harder with Thunderstorm on. - 4000cR
So, this challenge is extremely simple and should take very little of your time today. The Thunderstorm Skull just upgrades all the enemies in a mission to Ultras if such variants exist. I was originally going to recommend a simple speed-run of Nightfall but, due to the "Cannon Fodder" challenge asking you to get fifty infantry-class enemies, you are better off just playing through a regular mission to score the kills. Winter Contingency is the easiest level but ONI: Swordbase is also a good option. Winter Contingency is simply the fastest level to actually play through.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/25/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
So, all the other challenges today will likely not get you the hundred kills that you need for this one. All the other challenges today are in multiplayer Matchmaking but, after those are all complete, I would recommend going to Firefight Matchmaking so you can work on the Weekly Challenge. A single game in Firefight Matchmaking should be more than enough to get you the hundred kills needed to score the three thousand credits offered. If this takes multiple games, you are definitely doing something wrong.

A Great Friend - Earn 15 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2125cR
An assist will be awarded to you in multiplayer Matchmaking whenever you deal forty percent damage to an enemy and someone else takes the kill. Now, one of the easiest places to get assists is in the Multi Team Playlist. Since the Multi Team playlist has four teams of three players each, you have plenty of targets and plenty of people to steal the kills from you. Try to run out and take someone's shields down and then give them a few body shots. Back off immediately before killing them and let someone else grab the kill for the assist. Fifteen assists should be done in two to three games.

Double Double - Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
As you hopefully know, a Double Kill is when you score two kills within no more than four seconds of each other. You need to score two of these in the same match which should be pretty standard fare for most players. Remember to spread the Double Kills apart so it does not end up as an Overkill, which would be awesome, but would not help you complete this challenge. I am not urging you to go to a special playlist for this one as the challenge is simple enough that it will likely be obtained while working on the other challenges.

Not as Clumsy or Random... - Earn 5 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
Precision weapons are, by far, my favorite type of weapon in Halo, which means I love challenges like this, but I wish they were more challenging. Now, you will likely end up using the DMR or the Sniper. Bother of these weapons can be gotten easily enough by playing either Team SWAT or Team Snipers (guess which playlists has the snipers...). Now, five games is a really easy number to hit and you may even get the "Double Double" challenge while working on this one. I would also try for assists once you have the five kills you need to make this all a little easier. Regardless, this challenge should only take you a single game to complete.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/24/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Today, this is back to being a challenge that you do not need to worry about at all, due to the low number of kills required. A hundred kills, which is child's play for most, should be completed in a single game. Hell, the next challenge is asking you to get two-hundred kills in Firefight Matchmaking so that is a dead giveaway that this one is taken care of. Seriously, do not worry about it and move on.  After you finish these challenges, do not be afraid to play some in the Firefight playlist for the Weekly Challenge.

Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 200 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Now, ideally, I would be suggesting that you play Gruntpocalypse for a challenge like this since, with that gametype, you can headshot every single one of your enemies with relative ease. However, the Demon challenge is the one you will be more hard pressed for and therefore you should go for what headshot kills you can in 2X Score Attack while working on it. Now, there is a definite possibility that you can get two-hundred headshot kills in two games of 2X Score Attack, but there is a high chance that you will end up a small number of headshots short. For those, I recommend that you play a game of Crashsite where there are just enough Grunts to get you headshots and, once you have the headshots, you can die or let the generator explode to end the game legitimately.

A Simple Spree - Earn any spree in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking should be one of the most common things you get when playing any Firefight game. You will be awarded a spree with every ten kills, unlike five in multiplayer Matchmaking, you score, uninterrupted by your death or the end of the game. This is, ideally, very simple and should be done in your first game within the first minute or so. If you are having trouble with this, make sure you did not pick Mythic Attack or something that is making it extremely difficult for you to get kills.

Demon - Kill 30 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2400cR
I am encouraging you to play 2X Score Attack for the "Hyper Lethal Vector" challenge solely because of this challenge. It is definitely easier to get headshot kills in a gametype like Gruntpocalypse but you cannot find any Elites in that gametype. So, anyway, at the end of every game of 2X Score Attack, the final wave will be about twenty or so Elites. This means that you will need two games in this playlist to finish off the challenge. As well, this should finish off challenges for you today since two games of 2X Score Attack will finish every other challenge as well, hopefully.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/23/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 5343cR
A hundred and fifty enemies should be pretty simple a number to hit, so I really am wondering why the credit value is so high for this challenge, but I am not really complaining. After you complete the other Daily Challenges today (including whichever one replaces the "Linked Up with Bungie.net" challenge), just jump into some Firefight Matchmaking and work on the Weekly Challenge. That will provide more than enough kills to put you well over a hundred and fifty.

A Friend in Need - Earn 10 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2200cR
Now, in Firefight Matchmaking, an assists is earned every time you deal forty percent damage to an enemy and someone else takes the kill. This likely happens to you all the time but when you do not want it to happen, it is called "Kill Stealing." Regardless, you will need to play in either the Firefight or Firefight Doubles for this playlist since you will need teammates. Try to communicate with your teammates to indicate that you are going for assists and that you are okay with them stealing your kills. The Firefight playlist may be your best option for this challenge since it will have more people to steal your kills than Firefight Doubles.

Throwing Fireballs - Kill 7 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
This one will actually be pretty hard to do in a single game as seven grenade kills is well above normal. Multi Team, on a small map, or Team Objective are likely your best options to complete this challenge. For Multi Team, go for the Objective gametypes which pop up like Crazy King. What you can typically do is just aim your grenades for the objective if you know it is occupied and hopefully rack up the kills. You can also try for just regular Slayer, but since the game relies on reaching a certain number of kills, that can definitely work against you.

Linked Up with Bungie.net - Link your gamertag with Bungie.net and play a game in Halo: Reach Matchmaking. - 3000cR
So, you really do not need to worry about this challenge as it is impossible to complete. The servers of Halo Reach are now at 343 Industries, not Bungie.net, and have no way of knowing whether you have a Bungie.net account or not, therefore making it hard to link them. Expect this challenge to be changed, as it was last time, to a different random challenge. I, however, will be at work and unable to post the new challenge so please comment about it if you can. Thanks!

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/22/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Two hundred and fifty is, unfortunately, an odd number for anyone to hit as it is common to get a hundred to a hundred and twenty kills per game in Firefight Matchmaking. Either one of those amounts, when doubled leaves you short of two hundred and fifty. My advice to you is to play at least two games in the Firefight playlist for the Weekly Challenge. That should get you about two hundred kills. For the final fifty kills, make sure that your "Scoped" challenge is completed and I would work on that, if need be, by playing in the Score Attack playlist with a gametype like 2X Score Attack or Sniper Attack. Then you should have no problem getting to two hundred and fifty kills.

Scoped - Kill 200 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with precision weapons. - 2500cR
Typically, precision weapons, on almost any map that is not tiny, are likely your best options for scoring kills quickly in Firefight if you know how to pace your shots and aim for the head. The calmer you are, the more accurate you will be. Now, two hundred kills will not get done in a single game, but will require that you play at least two games. Since you need to make progress on the Weekly Challenge, at least one of these games will likely be in the Firefight playlist, where you will really have to compete for the kills. The second game can hopefully be in Score Attack where you can pick 2X Score Attack or Sniper Attack and collect and easy a hundred and twenty or so kills, without trouble.

Golden Opportunity - Find and kill the Gold Ranger-class Elite in any Campaign mission on Heroic or harder. - 5343cR

They are sure enjoying sending us after BoBs recently. I think this is the third Gold Ranger-class Elite challenge in the last two weeks. Either way, for this challenge you can kill any BoB in the game. The easiest one to kills is on ONI: Swordbase if you load Rally Point Bravo on Heroic or Legendary. You will need to drive to the base and then, up the ramp and to the left, there is a chance that a BoB may appear. You can tag him with the Target Designator to your right or just move up and take him out the old fashioned way. If he is not there, he might appear later on in the level near where the shotgun would spawn on the multiplayer map, Swordbase. If you are tired of getting that one every time we have this challenge, you can always try the Golden Tree City BoB again...

Twin Trips - Earn 2 Triple Kills in the same match in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
So, a Triple Kill, for those wondering, is when you score three kills in a row, all within four seconds of each other. Typically, this is an uncommon feat in most playlists so scoring two is even more difficult. Pretty much, this means that you will want to play in playlists where multikills are common, like Grifball, Living Dead, or Multi Team. Personally, I think Grifball is the best option and also the most enjoyable of the three. Also, the chances for two Triple Kills is much higher in Grifball than the other two playlists. However, any of the three are doable.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 5/21/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Typically, considering the challenge, I would say that you would be going out of your way to complete this challenge as the other challenges today will not get you to a hundred and eighty kills. If you just look at the Daily Challenges, that is true. However, working on the Weekly Challenge, listed below, will definitely get you passed a hundred and eighty kills with some room to spare. So, as usual, nothing to see here. Move along.

You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 10 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2500cR
For those of you who are wondering, the title for this challenge is a quote of Emperor Palpatine in "Return of the Jedi." Anyway, precision weapons, which are my favorites, are the Sniper Rifle, DMR, Needle Rifle, and Covenant Beam Rifle. In a single game, you need ten kills with either one or all these weapons combined. Team SWAT or Team Snipers is your best bet as they start you with the DMR and Sniper respectively. Ten kills should be easy enough to hit so do not stress over hitting the number. This can also be done in a gametype like Slayer Pro, Slayer DMRs, or others, which you can find the Arena, MLG, and Team Slayer playlists. Expect to get this done in a single game.

Chaddlesby's Justice - Avenge your teammates' deaths 5 times in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2100cR
So, the "Avenger" medal is awarded every time you kill an opponent who just killed one of your teammates. The occasion to pull this off will likely happen a lot in multiplayer Matchmaking as your teammates, and you, will die often. Now, there is a timer on this. I'm not sure how long it is, but after a certain point, killing the opponent before anyone else will no longer award the medal so try to get to it fast. As well, this challenge can be done in any playlist where you can score kills and you need to complete eight games for the "Credits for Completion" challenge. Sounds like this is taken care of.

Credits for Completion - Complete 8 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2800cR
So, eight games over a single day is not a lot if your just need to complete them. Though, do not get me wrong, winning games is even better, as you will see a better credit return. The only challenge here that even sort of needs a specific gametype is the "You Want This, Don't You?" challenge in which you should likely hit up Team SWAT or Team Snipers. Otherwise, play whatever you want and work on getting some "Avenger" medals. Grifball is actually looking like a great option as it will help you with the "Blastin' and Relaxin'" challenge as well.

The Weekly Challenge:
Ride the Wave - Complete 200 Waves in Firefight Matchmaking. - 15000cR

So, two hundred waves is a lot. Hold no disillusions about it, this challenge will take a lot of work to complete if you do not do it the right way. So at a minimum, if you are in the Score Attack playlist, you will go through five waves per game, if you complete the game. In the Firefight playlist, you will hit about sixteen waves per game if you finish. Clearly, the Firefight playlist is the better option. Over the next week, you will need to complete thirteen games in the Firefight playlist to complete this challenge. That comes out to two a day. If you decide you want to do Score Attack, then you must complete forty games. Good luck with that. Now, to make games go faster, try to play with friends, as they will likely need to work on the challenge as well. Also, try to play mostly on smaller maps. If people leave, this makes it more likely that you can still get through the game. Finally, power weapons are good things. Try to get game types like Arcade, Sniper, or Rocket Attack. That will speed things up.

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
As you will be playing a bunch of games for the "Flat Tire" challenge, and probably spending a fair amount of time on the "Golden Tree City" challenge, you really do not need to worry about this one. A hundred kills should be well taken care of today as you will be playing a bunch of other games for the aforementioned challenges. Now, you should be well more worried about getting the other challenges done, so go look at them. Seriously, you shouldn't have even read this one. Move on.

Golden Tree City - Find and kill the Gold Ranger-class Elite in a Banshee, fast and low, while on New Alexandria, on Legendary. - 4500cR

So the only Gold Ranger-class Elite (or BoB) in New Alexandria is found flying a Banshee fast and low if you are on Legendary difficulty. This has been known for a while, as this challenge first showed up more than a year ago, I believe, but it can still be hard to find. Hang around the Clue Errera location at a low elevation. Around the five minute mark, this BoB Banshee will appear from the North flying with a constant boost and not stopping to fight you. You will know you got it when the challenge completes. I will actually have a video up of this shortly as it will also help towards the BoB Hunt guide that will be up later this summer.

 Video is now up here.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
This challenge is not actually hard, it is just annoying. There are two routes to completing this, however. First off, you can do the Score Attack method which is actually still the easiest. You will need to load up the map Holdout with either the Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack playlists and kill the Banshees that spawn on the map every two to four minutes. You will need to make the game last to the very last seconds to try and get as many spawns as you can. You can get up to five vehicle kills, but three is the norm. Do not play in 2X Score Attack as those kills will not count towards this challenge. Expect this method to take three to four games. The other method is to brave Firefight Matchmaking where you will be competing with three other players for the vehicle kills that are available about once a round. As well, vehicle will only appear on certain maps. Beachhead is one of the best. Personally, I will be in Score Attack. As well, destroying a turret with an enemy in it counts as a vehicle kill, but you do not see that very often in Firefight.

Multiplier - Earn 4 multikills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A multikill in multiplayer Matchmaking is whenever you score multiple kills within four seconds of each other. You can do this with up to ten kills. Now, this challenge is easily completed by playing in the Grifball playlist as multikills are exceedingly common here. I would suggest taking this route as all the other challenges will take up time today and you might as well take the easiest possible route for this one. You can get four Double Kills or even a Killtacular to take care of this challenge. Regardless, you should be able to get all of those multikills easily in Grifball. Good luck.
