Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/31/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
Really, just a free a thousand credits for today, since you will make at least a hundred kills doing the "Flat Tire" challenge and another hundred doing the "Short, Controlled Bursts" challenge. Either way you look at it, this challenge will be easily completed. Do not sweat it and get to the other challenges.

Golden Opportunity - Find and kill the Gold Ranger-class Elite in any Campaign mission on Heroic or harder. - 2500cR
This is a very easy challenge and many player probably kill a Gold Ranger-class Elite (a.k.a. a BoB) every time they play a campaign mission in Reach. The easiest one to kill is on the level Winter Contingency on Heroic. After you get in a vehicle, veer to the right and turn into the first settlement you see. Most likely, there will be a BoB there. You can run him down with your vehicle on this difficulty. If he is not at this location, drive through the settlement and continue around. He will most likely come at you while you are going to the stranded Marines. Be warned that this Elite does not always show himself. You might also have some luck loading up Rally Point Bravo for ONI: Swordbase where the BoB is either in the initial Courtyard or near the multiplayer Shotgun spawn location.

Flat Tire - Kill 5 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
This will, as usual, be the most irritating challenge of the day. I have not even gotten into a game yet and it is already irritating me but, anyway, have patience with this challenge. You want to aim for Sniper Attack on Holdout. Rocket Attack is an acceptable alternative and FRG is the last ditch hope expect to hit about three Banshee kills a game if you wait till the clock expires. But, it is not completely uncommon to hit four or five Banshee kills. Good luck with this one. I hope it takes you just a game or two.

Short, Controlled Bursts - Kill 100 enemies with automatic weapons in the Campaign today. - 1000cR
Short of finishing off the Weekly Challenge and the "Golden Opportunity" challenge, this challenge presents you with another good reason to play through Winter Contingency today. Automatic weapons include the AR, Needle, Plasma Rifle and Plasma Repeater. All of these weapons can be found during the mission and you will likely have to mix and match weapons to reach the maximum number of kills.

Last day to complete the Weekly Challenge. See how to, here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/30/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000cR
If you planned on just playing multiplayer today, this challenge will take a very long time and will most likely not be worth your time. Instead, once you have completed all the other challenges today, play some Firefight or complete some Campaign missions for the Weekly Challenge. Using all the modes of Reach, hitting four-hundred kills is a very simple task.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 5 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1100cR
Five close quarters combat kills are actually very easy to come by if you are in the right playlist. Obviously, Grifball comes to mind, but you probably want to play Multi Team for the "Sticky Icky Icky" challenge and five melee kills is definitely doable in there. And, remember, CQC kills can also be from the hammer, sword, and shotgun. Get a hold of one of those in a game and you should be all set. Assassinations also count as CQC kills so keep that in mind. If you are struggling to get the five CQC kills, load up a game of Grifball and take care of it.

Sticky Icky Icky - Earn 3 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1250cR
This challenge can be completed in a plethora of waves. The trick is to know where the grenades spawn on the maps and to then utilize that to your advantage. Multi Team is you best option because there is a multitude or targets. If you can possibly get Elite Slayer during in this playlist, you should be all set and will easily get three sticky grenade kills. Expect this to take two or three games to accomplish.

Un, Deux, Trois - Win 3 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1450cR
Winning three games today should not be too much of a chore. Obviously, you will most likely be playing one game of Multi Team today, but I would not expect to win that game because you will be trying for sticky grenade kills and possibly melee kills. That does probably put you at a disadvantage for Objective or perhaps even for Slayer games. Focus on getting the three wins after finishing up "Up Close and Personal" and "Sticky Icky Icky" so you can play in some more subdued playlists.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/29/11 - Multiplayer Friday!

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 25 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
The challenges today are nowhere near as time consuming as the they were yesterday. You can have these done in relatively short order. These twenty-five kills should come after about two or three games, most likely while you are working on the "This is My Rifle..." challenge but could possibly come before depending on what avenues you decide to take for the other challenges.

This is My Rifle... - Earn 30 kills with precision weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1250cR
For this challenge you will need thirty kills with the DMR, Sniper, or the Needle Rifle. In the end, Team Snipers and Team SWAT will be your way to finish off these challenges. However, you might be able to get in some kills with precision weapons before hand in a playlist like Multi Team when working on the Light Fuse, Run Away challenge. Regardless, you will need to step over to Team SWAT or Snipers to grind out the remaining kills for the challenge.

Light Fuse, Run Away - Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
This will be the most difficult challenge of the day which is not at all saying much. The preferred playlist for this challenge is Multi Team and the preferred gametype is Crazy King. You can typically just lob grenades at the hill as people go for it and you should be able to rack up the grenade kills. Four in a game can be difficult if a plethora of people have Armor Lock equipped but it is not insurmountable in any sense. And do not be afraid to die and get more grenades. As well, any plasma grenades you can find are immediately helpful as sticking people is generally a guaranteed kill.

T-Hug It Out - Kill 4 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
A single game of Grifball will get this done if you want the easiest possible, and most guaranteed, way to complete the challenge. It is not necessary, however, since four kills with close quarters combat is very normal in standard games (a.k.a. Team Slayer 4v4). You will most commonly secure these CQC kills by melee your opponents and securing beat downs. You should be able to get this while also working on the "Light Fuse, Run Away" challenge

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/28/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Looks like another Firefight Thursday to me. Considering that the "More Like In Post" challenge is calling for a thousand kills on Outpost, I do not think hitting four-hundred kills will be an issue. This is just a free two-thousand credits that you will hit during your fourth games of Firefight today. Beyond that, do not worry about it since you need to focus on other challenges today.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
As usual, you need Sniper Attack on Holdout for this challenge. Take care of this before going for the "More Like In Post" challenge since this one will be much more aggravating. Do not that if you attempt to get vehicle kills in 2X Score Attack, they will not count. Instead, you are better off with Sniper, Rocket, and FRG Attack. The idea on Holdout is to make the game last as long as possible and to get as many Banshees as possible to spawn in that time. If you are out of options during the game selection screen, go for large exterior maps and games like Sniper, Rocket, and FRG Attack. You might get one vehicle to drop on the last wave.

Be Their Huckleberry - Kill 50 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the pistol. - 1000cR
All things considered, this is a very easy challenge for today and you should be able to get it done while playing Sniper Attack on Holdout or whatever other map you end up on. You can even spread this out over many games if need be and you should get it pretty naturally over the course of several games. Gruntpocalypse is also great for this since you can practically kill all the Grunts in one or two pistol shots.

More Like In Post - Kill 1000 enemies on Outpost in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Whereas "Flat Tire" will be the most annoying challenge of the day, this challenge will take the longest. Expect to play about nine games on the Outpost map to hit a thousand kills. Stick to Gruntpocalypse and 2X Score Attack to speed this challenge along. Outpost is one of the larger maps, but there are plenty of sight lines that you should be able to use to your advantage. Stick to the DMR when doing 2X Score Attack since it gives you the best accuracy over range.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/27/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1350cR
You should have no problem hitting well beyond the number of a hundred and eighty kills today thanks to the "Demon" challenge. Do not worry about it and spend some time working on the Weekly Challenge. Sorry for the lack of detail today, running a little late.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1400cR
Two games of 2X Score Attack in the Score Attack playlist will take care of this challenge. Typically, the last wave is about twenty or so Elites. Clearly, two games of this will get the challenge done. I would recommend small maps like Corvette or Courtyard to speed the games along.

Nature vs. Nurture - Kill 15 Moa in Winter Contingency on Normal or harder. - 2000cR
The easiest way to get this challenge done is right at the beginning of Winter Contingency. You will see two Moa about thirty seconds after you land. You will also get a checkpoint right before you reach them. After you kill the two Moa, just keep reloading the checkpoint and that should let you complete the challenge very quickly. As well, going to the main menu resets you count so do not do that.

Killing Frenzy - Earn a Killing Frenzy in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
Your best chance for this will be the Living Dead playlist. Pick a map like Boardwalk or Swordbase and you should have no problem reach the ten kills you need for a Killing Frenzy. Remember that once the Zombies get close, switch to the Shotgun. You cannot get a spree if you die.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/26/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
The challenges today are much more on the easy side. These hundred kills will be finished off while going for the "Watersports" challenge which requires you to get a hundred kills in Firefight. Also, do not forget to keeping making runs on Nightfall for the Weekly challenge of completing nine levels in the campaign on Heroic this week. You can probably have the Weekly done today with all these other easy challenges.

Watersports - Kill 100 enemies on Waterfront on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
The best way to do this challenge is to load up Score Attack and then wait for this map to appear during game selection. Ideally, you would want Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack to make the game as fast as possible. Rocket and FRG Attack would also be good alternatives for completing this challenge. You will see about a hundred and twenty enemies in a single game and you have to either kill them all of have time run out to finish the game.

Clip It. Share It. - Make a clip from your Local files and upload it to your File Share. - 1250cR
By far the easiest challenge of the day, this should take you all of a couple minutes to complete. First off, if you already have a film clip, just upload it to your File Share for credit. If not, play a really quick custom game or Forge. Then go into theater mode, load the game, and make a really quick clip. After that, find the file in the file browser and upload it to your File Share. Play a game afterwards to make sure the credit sticks.

Oops! All Kills - Earn 5 Multikills in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
A quick game of Grifball should get this challenge done for you. You can also try Multi Team, but five multikills is a decent enough number that you will probably have some difficulty hitting it in any slayer gametype. If you can get up to a Killtrocity, that will actually finish off the challenge for you, but most likely it will be a collection of Double Kills, Triple Kills, and maybe some Overkills that finish off this challenge for you.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 7/25/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
Considering that you need to kill a hundred and twenty-five enemies for the "More than a Handful" challenge and two-hundred for the "There Are Many Like..." challenge, I think this challenge of gaining a hundred kills today in any mode is taken care of, don't you think? But seriously, this challenge will be completed by working on the other ones.

More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
So a hundred and twenty-five kills in multiplayer is a decent chunk of kills for a single day, however, Grifball is your friend. What you want to do is play some long games of Grifball to really rack up the kills. You have to play five games for the "Credits for Completion" challenge and, with Grifball, you can definitely hit a hundred and twenty five kills in five games. You might also have horribly matched teams and either get spawn camped or have the game end in three very quick rounds. Just a fore-warning.

There Are Many Like... - Kill 200 enemies with precision weapons in the Campaign today. - 1500cR
I am encouraging you to tentatively speed-run Nightfall multiple times for the Weekly challenge. You do not have to speed run it, however. Instead, you can actually play through it once or twice and that would be a fantastic way to get this challenge done. Precision weapons include the DMR, Sniper, Needle Rifle, and I believe the Focus Beam Rifle. Nightfall is a great level in which to get kills with the Sniper, and then the DMR later in the level. It will probably take two playthrough the hit two hundred kills however. But try to stay a little ahead of Jun so he does not steal all you kills.

Credits for Completion - Complete 5 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1250cR
I would of liked to have this challenge Saturday instead of the "Win 10 games" that was thrown at us but, alas, we have the challenge now. Now, five games is a relatively low number but you also need to get a hundred and twenty-five kills for the "More than a Handful" challenge. So, keep to long games to ensure that you get the maximum number of kills.

The Weekly Challenge:
This Is How We Do It - Complete 9 Campaign missions on Heroic. - 10000cR
Look at Bungie, trying to give us a little trip down memory lane. Unless I am mistaken, this is the very first weekly challenge that was given to the players upon the launch of Halo Reach. I'm pretty sure that most people accomplished this feat by initially playing through the campaign for the first time on Heroic. Looking at it now, I do not see anything saying that the player has to play through all the various campaign mission.

Let me say first, that I have yet to test this, but you can plausibly play the same mission nine times this week and get the challenge. Guess what mission that is? That is right, Nightfall. You can speed-run the level using this LASO guide for the trail. I will be trying this tonight, but for anyone who tries this multiple times, I would love to know if it works. If it does not work, than clearly you will need to play through every level of the campaign, which is not too bad of a task on Heroic.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/24/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
Not at all a hard number to hit today and you can bet that you will thanks to the two-hundred kills required for "Hyper Lethal Vector" and the forty kills for "The T.G. Opposition." Firefight will be your ticket to getting this challenge completed and, hopefully, as well you will be finishing off the required games for the Weekly Challenge. Good luck.

The T.G. Opposition - Kill 40 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the Shotgun. - 1000cR
Now, the best way to get this challenge will probably be through Score Attack. Even though you probably want to play Firefight Arcade for the Weekly Challenge, the best way to quickly rack up a lot of Shotgun kills is via Score Attack or 2X Score Attack. Both allow you to pick the Shotgun as a Loadout, along with a pistol and Armor Lock, and should definitely allow you to hit forty kills. I would suggest 2X Score Attack so you have more killing power in each shot and better range.

Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 200 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Besides completing the Weekly Challenge, getting two-hundred headshots in Firefight today will take you longer than anything else. I say this since I am encouraging you to play Firefight Arcade for round completions. If you can get Sniper Fight, you should have a good chance at raking in some Headshots, but, even if you get Arcade Fight, there is a Loadout that the Sniper and the DMR and that should allow you to make some progress.

Headshot Honcho - Kill 9 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1080cR
We have seen this challenge, or various version, a lot this week. As usual, you will need to play either Team Snipers or Team SWAT. Those gametypes present your best chances for getting this challenge done in a single game so you can move onto Firefight. Nine kills, however, is a low number and should be achievable in other playlists as well like Team Slayer, MLG, or The Arena.

Last day for the Weekly Challenge. See how to complete it here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/23/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1875cR
Lots of lengthy challenges today, but this one is the least of your worries. You should hit well beyond two-hundred a fifty kills in Firefight today will completing rounds for the Weekly Challenge. This should be done within the first three or four games. If you are still lacking some kills after completing the necessary rounds for today, load up Gruntpocalypse in the Score Attack playlist and rack up some easy kills.

Came From Behind - Perform 3 Assassinations in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1200cR
My go-to playlist for this challenge is Team Snipers. This playlist allows you to sneak behind other players with relative ease and sink you combat knife into them. Most people get into a "zone" when playing Snipers and tend to not pay attention to their surroundings. Though that may be a very bad habit for them, it is great if you want to assassinate other players. Use the various pathways of the map you are on to circle your prey and eliminate them.

Be Their Huckleberry - Kill 200 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the pistol. - 1500cR
This is the grinding Firefight challenge of the day. Two-hundred kills with a pistol is not a very trying task, but it will take patience. If you are playing Firefight Arcade, do not expect to rack a lot of pistols kills per game since people will be stealing kills like crazy. Let them, since that will speed up the game. After you have gotten your two-hundred kills with the pistol, go crazy with whatever weapon you want but remember the "Who's the Big Winner?" challenge will need some time.

Who's the Big Winner? - Win 10 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
This will be the most trying challenge of the day and the one most likely to interfere with any progress on the Weekly Challenge. This will most likely take you well more than ten games to complete, unless you are extremely lucky. Obviously, it would not hurt to have a good team with you but that is not possible for everyone so try to get in with some good players that you meet while playing. As well, mix up the gametypes somewhat. You might find that you are good at a playlist you have never played before.

Two days left to complete the Weekly Challenge.  See how to here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/22/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 25 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Since yesterday was Firefight, today is Multiplayer. None of these challenges are too difficult. Generally, these will only take two to four games to complete depending on your luck in Grifball. This challenge of twenty-five kills in multiplayer Matchmaking will be finished off fairly early when going for "Close Talking." Do not take it too seriously

Close Talking - Earn 100 kills with close quarters combat in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
The answer for this challenge is, of course, Grifball. You can hit up to seventy kills in a single game, though that is a rare occurrence. Expect to hit about thirty or forty kills during a single game if the teams are evenly matched. Therefore, this challenge should take you about two to three games, but perhaps four if you get some teams who score the ball fast. Finishing off this challenge will also finish off, obviously, "Up Close and Personal" so you need not worry about it either.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 3 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
See "Close Talking."

You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 12 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1500cR
For this challenge, stick to either Team SWAT or Team Sniper. You need twelve kills in a single game, not over multiple games, so we are sticking to games that exclusively feature precision weapons. If you can, go for an objective games in SWAT. That should greatly increase your chances of getting twelve kills if you are having trouble in regular slayer games. This might take an extra try to get, but you should be able to get it in a single game.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/21/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
Again, it is a Firefight Thursday. No extremely hard challenges today but a rather easy slew of objectives. I am encouraging you to play Firefight Arcade today for all challenges, even for Flat Tire. This is in hopes that you make some progress on the Weekly Challenge. At the end of today you should be at about forty-four, or so, rounds completed or more. If you are lagging behind, pick it up. And for this challenge, it will be completed, at the most, in your first two game of Firefight.

Flat Tire - Kill 5 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Now, the best place to get Vehicle kills is still Holdout. Sniper Fight is probably you best option. I would also recommend Beachhead for the likely vehicle drops in the final waves of each round. Take your time with this challenge since you will be playing many matches of Firefight today. If, at the end, you have not hit the five vehicle kills needed, load up Score Attack and play Sniper Attack on Holdout. With that gametype you should have no problem finishing off this challenge.

A Simple Spree - Earn any spree in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
A spree, in Firefight or Campaign, is ten kills in a row. That is what you need to hit for this challenge. I had assumed, earlier, that Weapon Sprees no longer count towards this challenge. It has been brought to my attention, however, that the last challenge for sprees in Firefight counted weapon sprees. A weapons spree will occur for five kills with the Shotgun, Hammer, Sword, Sniper, and Plasma Grenade (Grenade stick) separately. Mostly likely you will hit a Sniper Spree first. Once you have hit that, if the challenge is not completed, it is only five more kills to a regular Killing Spree.

Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 200 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Two-hundred should be a very easy number to hit with Snipers. Most likely, you will also end up playing games like Arcade Fight which has Sniper and DMRs in it as well if you pick a specific Loadout. Hit about fifty a game and you should have this challenge done by the end of the day. If not, do a game of Score Attack, like Gruntpocalypse, and finish the challenge off.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/20/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. 1000cR
Due to all the Firefight you will be playing after you finish the Campaign and Multiplayer challenges today, you will be guaranteed to hit a hundred kills easily. You should hit it when doing the Campaign challenge, at least since ONI on any difficulty is well above a hundred kills typically. Do not worry about this challenge in the least.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1400cR
You should no problem hitting this challenge over the several games of Firefight Matchmaking you should be playing today. Yes, the challenge will be much easier to complete in games under the Score Attack playlist, but you need rounds completed for the Weekly Challenge this week. Go for games like Arcade Fight or Rocket Fight on smaller maps. This should allow you to get through the entire game and rack up a decent number of Elite kills. You may even be able to get this done in one game, but be patient if not.

L.D. ONI - Complete ONI, without dying, on Legendary with Mythic, Thunderstorm, Tilt, and Tough Luck on. - 5000cR
This will be the more annoying challenge of the day. Please note that you do not actually have to go through the entire level without dying. Once you get to the last objective, dying as much as you want along the way, you can hit "Save and Quit" and then reload the save for challenge and level completion. Now, to actually get through the level in an expeditious manner, use this LASO guide. Obviously, this will be slightly easier but many of the concepts will be the same and this challenge typically uses the most annoying skulls from LASO anyway. Good luck

Not as Clumsy or Random... - Earn 5 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
Load up Team SWAT and play a single game. This challenge should be completed after that games is finished. Five kills with a precision weapon is a very small number and you should have no trouble getting this challenge done. In actuality, you could get this done in any playlist, but best stick to ones that put a precision weapon in your hands at the start like Team Snipers, Team SWAT, MLG, or Arena.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/19/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
Since you should be aiming to complete eleven rounds of Firefight Matchmaking today, you should not even need to worry about this challenge. This challenge should be completed in about two games unless you are idling or something. Helpful tip, do not idle in Firefight games because that will earn you a spanking from the Ban Hammer!

Survivor - Earn 7 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
It used to be that Weapons Sprees counted towards this challenge. Well, that is not true any longer. All of these need to be Killing Sprees. Now, if you survive an entire game of Gruntpocalypse, you will only net six sprees (one at ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, and a hundred kills each). Clearly, you will have to die once to get this challenge done. I am actually going to suggest that you play Firefight Arcade for this challenge. This will at least allow you to make some progress on the Weekly Challenge, and you will have a high chance of dying due to the increased difficulty in the later levels.

Pod Kettle Black - Kill 20 Elite Drop Pods in The Long Night of Solace. - 1200cR
I believe we had this challenge about two weeks ago. It is not at all hard but you just have to know where to go. Load up Long Night of Solace Rally Point Alpha. This should put you in the Sabre. Play through until you are attacking the Corvette. If you go underneath the Corvette, Drop Pods will be getting shot towards Reach. They are very fast and hard to hit, but you can shoot the pods and destroy them. Kill twenty of them, which will take a little while, and then the challenge is done.

Cook 'em, Clean 'em! - Kill 15 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking while you're jet-packing. - 1800cR
Team Slayer is probably your best option for this challenge as it is one of the playlists that typically has the Jet-pack as an armor ability. You can also try Action Sack and aim for Splockets or Dino Blasters. Remember, the armor ability must be activated when the kill is achieved, not while you are falling. You only need fifteen kills while jet-packing throughout the day, not in a single game, so this is doable in two to three games.
