Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 2/28/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
  • A good starting point for the Weekly Challenge.  You will need to hit higher numbers than this today, however.
One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
  • One game of Firefight Arcade can yield this challenge for you.  Try for Rocket Attack on a map like Corvette.  Nail the Covies in their spawns and you should be fine.  Might take a second game.
Headshot Honcho - Kill 9 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1080cR
  • Team SWAT will get this done.  Simple as that.  One-shot headshots help a lot here.
Five-time Champ - Win 5 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1750cR
  • You will hopefully get this while working on the Weekly Challenge.  Just play a gametype you enjoy that has short games and it should not be a problem at all.  You want short games.  Try to stay away from objective games.

The Weekly Challenge:
All in a Week's Work - Kill 1500 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. - 17500cR
  • One word.  Grifball.  This is the only game were you can get twenty-five to thirty kills per game.  You can also try to hit up BTB, but the games take a much longer amount of time.  If you want to split it up over the week, it is two-hundred kills a day, plus some change.  That is very doable.  But try to reach past that number.  There will be times this week when all the challenges are Firefight or Campaign and hitting two-hundred kills in multiplayer Matchmaking just is not going to happen.  Try to not wait until the weekend for this challenge because that will be difficult.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/27/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
  • You will get it doing all the other challenges.  Do not worry about it.
Return of the Mack - Kill 50 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or Harder. - 1700cR
  • I still favor the mission "The Long Night of Solace" on heroic for this challenge.  Lots of Elites and the mission is not even all that long.  If you do not get the challenge done, restart the mission because the next missions have basically no Elites.  Restart the mission or die if you must to go back to a checkpoint.
That Pink Mist - Kill 200 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler of the Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1500cR
  • Score Attack is useless for this.  The enemies are generally too weak for the Supercombines to happen.  Instead, head for Firefight Arcade and pick a game like Sniper Fight or FRG Fight.   Since you need two hundred kills, this might take about three or four games.
Short, Controlled Bursts - Kill 50 enemies with automatic weapons in the Campaign today. - 1000cR
  • Pretty simple.  Try for it while getting "Return of the Mack."  Basically, use the AR on everything non-Elite enemy.  You might have to play another level to finish off the challenge but it should not be that hard.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/26/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000cR
  • Once you finish off the multiplayer challenges for today, head to Firefight and you can finish this off with ease.  Typically, you get a hundred and twenty kills per game.
Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1875cR
  • It is very easy to get assists in any playlist, except Team SWAT.  Make sure you stick near your teammates so they can finish your opponent off.  It does not help to take down a players shields, almost kill him, and then stop if you do not have any teammates around.  If you are going to do Multi Team, pick a small map so a lot of players are in on the battles.  I find that this increases your chances of getting assists.
This is My Rifle... - Earn 77 kills with precision weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1400cR
  • Stick to Team SWAT and Team Snipers for this challenge once you have all the assists you need.  Does not matter if it is a headshot or a body shot that kills them as long as you are using the Sniper, the DMR, or the Needle Rifle.
The Magic Number - Complete 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1350cR
  • To me, this challenge seems out of place today.  This would have been a day where it said "Complete 20 games" and it would have made sense.  Seven games will happen no matter what.  Might even happen before you have the assists done.

See the Weekly Challenge here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/25/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2310cR
  • You will get this challenge while getting "Now I Have a Machine Gun."
Sticky Icky Icky - Earn 3 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1250cR
  • The trick to this challenge is knowing where Plasma Grenades spawn on the maps.  With Elites Slayer, you only spawn with one grenade and, generally, everyone uses that grenade up immediately.  Head for an objective type game on a map where you can find Plasma Grenades and take your time.  Might take more than one match.
Now I Have a Machine Gun - Earn 100 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
  • Multi Team will be the best for this challenge.  Always AR starts, lots of targets, and easy kills lying around everywhere.  You need to be persistent for this challenge.  In general, most players do not use the AR that much and normally pick a weapon like the DMR or Needle Rifle.  Fight that instinct though.  Remember that you can also use the Needler, the Plasma Rifle, and the Plasma Repeater for the challenge.
Vengeance Found - Earn your 'Revenge' in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
  • In order to gain a Revenge medal, you will need to kill a player who just killed you before anyone else.  You might want to try regular Team Slayer for this since Multi Team has, just, way too many other combatants making "Revenge" medals hard to come by.  You have the advantage on a player in this instance.  You know where he last was but he cannot really predict where you will spawn.  Use that to your advantage.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/24/2011

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
  • Simple.  Do not worry about it.  It will happen while working on the other three challenges for today.
Just Holdout - Kill 150 enemies on Holdout in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
  • A hundred and fifty enemies on Holdout will probably take about two games in Score Attack.  You can hit it in one game in Firefight Arcade, but the chances of getting the map are very slim.  You would also have to get your teammates to pick it somehow.  So, I say, load up Score Attack and try for 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse.
...And Recreation - Kill 100 enemies on Beachhead on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • It will only take one game to get this done.  It does not really matter what gametype you pick, but I would recommend Sniper Attack.  Snipers are great on this map, always have been.  Snipers will also allow you to get headshots to help with the next challenge.
Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 100 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • First time in a long time for all Firefight Challenges.  I know that some of you on here are happy about that...  But anyway, you can very easily get this done while working on the "Just Holdout" and "...And Recreation" challenges.  Pick games like Score Attack, 2X Score Attack, or Gruntpocalypse and you should have no trouble getting it done.

The WTF Pic of the Week: What Does It Say?

Be honest.  What do you think it says?

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/23/2011

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 25 enemies  in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • Should take you one or two game in matchmaking.  Pick standard slayer games in playlists like SWAT or Team Slayer.  You want fast moving games so you can also work on the "The Love of the Game" challenge.
Blast Radius - Kill 75 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with grenades. - 1250cR
  • If only the Grenade Launcher worked for this challenge.  You have to use regular, good ole' Grenades however.  Load up 2X Score Attack on a map like Corvette.  It is very easy to catch the Covies as they spawn and rack up the grenade multi kills.  Might take two or three games.
The Little Guys - Kill 75 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or Harder. - 1000cR
  • Just load up Winter Contingency on Heroic or Normal and you should have no problem getting this challenge done.  There should be just enough Grunts in the level but if you fall short just continue onto ONI: Sword Base.
The Love of the Game - Complete 20 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
  • I would suggest doing this in multiple sittings, unless you can only play at a certain time.  SWAT and Living Dead, depending on the maps, will get you this achievement in the quickest manner.

Halo Reach: LASO Guide – Part 2: ONI: Sword Base - II

ONI: Sword Base LASO Walkthrough Part II:

(Find Part I here.)

Unleash Hell.

You can go either direction now, towards the Comm Station or the Anti-Air battery.  Most people seem to go towards the AA Battery, so let us do that.  There will be a small group of enemies but they are easily dispatched.  Drive your Wraith up onto the pond but do not pass it.  The General up there will nail you with a Plasma Launcher if you get to close.  Just bombard the base like crazy.

Bastard With Your Damn Concussion Rifle...

Halo Reach: LASO Guide – Part 2: ONI: Sword Base - I

Follow the blog for Halo news, guides, and updates or follow me on twitter.

Winter Contingency LASO Guide.
Here are some general strategies to remember for LASO difficulty:
  • Be a Team Player - Let your Teammates do the work.  The rest of Noble Team is invincible and has unlimited ammunition.  You are not and do not have that.
  • Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! - Avoid any fight or enemy that you absolutely do not need to engage.  Sometimes you will have to clear an area to continue the mission, but other times you can just sneak around.
  • Melee for Shields - Black Eye Skull is on, which means that meleeing an enemy will bring your shields back up.  If you are close in, with a low number of enemies, melee and make sure those shields are strong.
  • Sneaky, Sneaky - Crouch and you will find that you can sneak around quite a few enemies if they are far enough away.  Stick to walls and this will help you avoid fights.
  • Cover - Use it.
  • Assassination - The best way to deal with strong enemies, like Elites, is to assassinate them.  It is a one hit kill and a hell of a lot faster than the traditional method of killing them.
  • Two Player? - The Challenges are for beating the level on LASO difficulty, not SLASO (Solo, Legendary, All Skulls On).  Turn on a second controller and then you will not have to restart the entire mission every time you die.  The enemies will become slightly harder, but then at last you do have to be perfect through the entire level on its hardest difficulty.
  • Headshots - Headshot anything you can, because it kills them faster.  Enough said.
  • Mark the Spot - Get a small piece of paper and some tape, or just tape and a sharpie.  and Make a dot with the sharpie on the tape and then put the tape on your screen where the reticule should be.  Do not write on your screen, please.
Now that you have brushed up on your LASO knowledge and strategies, let us get down to business.

ONI: Sword Base Walkthrough:
(Warning: This is a long walkthrough and contains spoilers.  Links lead to pics illustrating strategies.)
NOTE: Currently, the Challenge does not require the Blind Skull to be turned on.  Do yourself a favor and keep it off.  Do not get used to it though.

Kat will be your teammate for the majority of this mission.  You will start out in a courtyard outside Sword Base and are required to clear it and then to clear three other areas outside the base.  Then you will come back inside and clear out the base.  Obviously, you cannot run through much of this like Winter Contingency, but there are some tricks and shortcuts.

The Right Ramp.

At start, run up the right ramp and you will have an Elite one on one.  Melee, sidestep, and assassinate.  Watch out for the kick because it is lethal.  Grunts down below will probably go kamikaze so take them out before they kill your second player since he is just a stand in.

Melee, Sidestep, and Assassinate.

Now you will want to sneak across the small foot bridge and got to the opposite side.  There will be a pair of Jackals there that you can possibly flank plus some ammo, grenades, and a health pack.  Try to clear this upper walkway entirely.

Joy riding...

At the start of this level, you will be riding in a Falcon with Carter and Jun.  Once you land you do not need to stop at any of the locations.  You can simply keep sprinting.  If you have a team mate, or are a really good shot at distance, with the pistol, without a reticule (I severely doubt anyone is), you can try to take out the Cloaked Elite at the very beginning of the level for a datapad.  He is cloaked and running from the burning Warthog as you near the area.  Do not worry if you miss him though because he is not vital.

Down
Once you reach the area where the Covenant reveal themselves, go down the stairs and then go right back up.  The point is to trigger the rest of Noble Team to go down and wipe out the Covies for you.  Always remember that the AI members of Noble (A.K.A. not you) are invulnerable and cannot be killed.  Treat them like tanks; they plow through and you follow behind.

An Intro to LASO/Mythic Difficulty in Halo Reach.

On the heels of the current weekly challenge, tempting members to try the second level of the Halo Campaign on LASO difficulty, I present this guide which will help the not-so-hardcore members of the Halo population a fighting chance at completing this challenge and hopefully beating the whole game this way.

Get Fallout New Vegas Cheap!

You can get Fallout New Vegas for $30 new and $25 used from GameStop.com with free shipping.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/22/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR

  • It seems as though we have been getting a challenge like this every day recently. Like usual, do not sweat it. This will be done really fast. You will get it working on all the other achievements today.
Just Hold On... - Complete 6 rounds in Firefight Matchmaking without dying. - 1500cR
  • Now, a round in Firefight Matchmaking is five waves. This will take you at least six games of Score Attack or two games of Firefight Limited/Arcade.  If this is at all like previous challenges, however, if you die once the following rounds will not count until you start a new game. I will test to see how that goes. Hopefully, it has been fixed and you can die and not ruin the other rounds. Either way, pick Sniper Fight on maps like Beachhead, Glacier, or Outpost for safe bets.
  • Update: I have confirmed that dying in an earlier round of a game will make it impossible for you to work on the challenge in later rounds.  If, say, you die in the first round, you can not get any more rounds to count for the challenge.  So if you are going to die, do it in the last round.
Points Pyramid - Score 25,000 points on any Campaign mission. - 1500cR
  • The best level for getting points fast, for me, is New Alexandria. Simply set whatever difficulty you want, Heroic works well, and turn on one or two skulls. Play through it normally but go after a lot of the Banshees and the Phantoms as well. And you do not even have to destroy them by yourself. Just get one shot in with the man turret and let the side gunners finish it off. I have noticed that if you do not get any shots in you will not get any points even though your passengers are the ones shooting. Hitting 25,000 points will not be a problem at all with this strategy.
Freelancing - Earn at least 21 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2100cR
  • This might still be attainable in Multi Team but, with the four three-person teams now, it just seems less likely. Instead go to Grifball or an objective game. Do not try to capture the objective though. Just go for kills. This might take a few tries but no more than four games.

The guide for the Weekly Challenge will be up later today.

First Vid! And We're on Youtube!

So one of the keys to good blogging is to expand beyond just a simple blog. It's media networking people. So here is the first of, hopefully, many Youtube videos for Facetious Sincerity: Assassination Prevention in Halo Reach.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 2/21/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
  • A hundred and twenty enemies in Firefight is one game of score attack really.  But since you also need assists for another challenge, I would recommend going to Firefight Arcade and getting both challenges done.
A Friend in Need - Earn 10 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • Rocket or Sniper Fight is great for this.  Just make sure that your shot does not kill the enemy.  Use a microphone so you can communicate with your team and tell them where targets are.  If they kill a target that you almost took out in about four seconds, you will get an assist.  Rinse and repeat a lot.  This way you can get assists faster and go back to getting kills for the "Covenant-cide" challenge.
Short, Controlled Bursts - Kill 100 enemies with automatic weapons in the Campaign today. - 1000cR
  • To get this one done fast, you need a target rich environment.  Set the difficulty to Normal and load up Winter Contingency or Exodus.  Both have lots of targets and automatic weapons all over the place.  For the record, automatic weapons include the AR, Needler, Plasma Rifle, Plasma Repeater, and the Spiker.  Just remember, Short, Controlled Bursts.  To the head of course.
A Solid Outing - Earn at least 12 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1300cR
  • Simple to do and can be done in any playlist.  Pick one you like and are good at and this can be done in one game.  If you are having trouble go for an objective gametype and pretend it is Slayer.  You will get it done then.

ONI: LASO - Complete ONI, Legendary, All Skulls On (LASO). - 11000cR
  • Guide for this will most likely be up tomorrow.  I have yet to attempt this level on LASO yet but will soon.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/20/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
  • Grind this out while finishing the weekly challenge.  This will actually only take about two games of Score Attack, but get it however you can.
Killagruntjaro! - Earn 25 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1500cR
  • Quite simple and easy to do in a single game.  Use a lot of grenades and explosive ordnance weapons and you should get plenty of multikills.  In 2X Score Attack it is possible to get it but, if you are having trouble hitting the mark, try for Gruntpocalypse which is always great for multikills.
A Simple Spree - Earn any spree in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • You should get this will doing the Killagruntjaro challenge.  You would assume that, with this being that last day to do the Weekly Challenge, Bungie would have put some harder Firefight challenges up today, but I guess not.
Killing Spree - Earn a Killing Spree in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • You need five kills in a row without dying for this one.  You can definitely get it in Living Dead (assuming you are human of course), but Griffball is also an option and so is Team Slayer and Objective.  Just stay hidden and pick your battles carefully.  But if you can get a hold of a power weapon (a.k.a. sword, shotty, rockets, sniper), even better! You can get this done in one match and then go back to focusing on Firefight.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/19/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
  • By far the easiest of all these challenges.  You will get it in no time.
Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 20 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • Standard Slayer features Automatic Rifle starts.  As well, Multi Team always starts with the AR.  I would not spend a lot of time in Multi Team today, though.  That will hurt you getting the "Who's the Big Winner?" challenge.
Explosive Ordnance Distribution - Earn 3 kills with ordnance weapons in a multiplayer matchmaking game. - 1000cR
  • For an Explosive Ordnance kill you need to use the Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, or the Plasma Launcher.  The Concussion rifle might also count, but I will update once I find out.  Three kills in a game is not too difficult but the availability of the weapon may be an issue.  Try to get it first and you should not have a problem.
Who's the Big Winner? - Win 15 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
  • I hate these challenges, I really do.  Find a group of players you really like and play with them until you start losing.  Then switch it up.  You have to win fifteen games so be ready for the long haul.  SWAT typically has the shortest games, so keep that in mind.  Stay away from objective games since those tend to last longer than slayer games.  If you keep losing, take a break and come back in an hour or two so you calm down.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/18/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
  • Depending on how good you are, you can get all of the challenges today done in two or three games.  You will get this challenge while working on the other three, so just take it easy.  Then go play some Firefight Matchmaking and get the Weekly Challenge done.
Sweep the Leg - Perform an Assassination in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
  • Any playlist will do for this.  From my own personal stats, I get about one assassination about every other game.  If you need to, hide and try to jump the enemy while he is in the air or not on flat ground.  These will cause the assassination animation to occur faster and therefore lessening the chance that you will be interrupted.
The Dream Shake - Earn 4 Double Kills in the same match in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
  • This is easiest to do in Grifball.  Spawn camp if you need to but, remember, you need four Double Kills, not four multikills.  If you want to specifically get it done quick, back of once you have a double for about four seconds and then start up again.  This way you will not continually stack the multikills.
Up Close and Personal - Kill 8 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1600cR
  • You will get this while doing "The Dream Shake" if you do Grifball.  Otherwise you have to melee, hammer, sword, or shotgun your target at very close range.  Doing that eight times in a regular playlist is difficult, hence the advice of Grifball.

Three Great\Evil Pranks to Pull on Computer Illiterate Roommates

Follow the blog!

Just about everyone, at one point in their life, has had a roommate.  Whether you actually share the same room or just the same apartment, it is all the same.  And, in every roommate relationship, it will get to a point where you either cannot stand the individual or you will become very close friends.  In both of these instances, it will be an appropriate situation for pranking.  The question you really have to ask yourself is what type of prank is appropriate.
Some people actually thought this thing worked...

The simple answer here is that almost all pranks are appropriate, depending on your personality.  However, you also have to work with what your roommate gives you.  If your roommate is computer illiterate, you can really have some fun.  Especially if they leave their computer logged in.  And here is a list of the five best ones to pull.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/17/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - KIll 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1350cR
  • We have had a lot of these challenges recently and, as usual, this one will be easy.  And you will be playing a lot of Firefight today.
That Pink Mist - Kill 100 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler of the Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1250cR
  • Go to Firefight Arcade for this.  It does not really matter the map but make sure that the gametype you choose has unlimited ammo.  Just spam the Needler like crazy and you should be able to get at least forty to fifty kills per game.
Flat Tire - Kill10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
  • This one is a pain.  Go to Score Attack and try to get Sniper Attack on Holdout.  Take your time and you should get three Banshees which will soar in over the bunker like thing that you start in.  Wait above it and you will hear the Banshees before you see them..  I got four once, but only once.  This will take you about four games.
Earn 25 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1500cR
  • Should be very easy if done in Gruntpocalypse or a game in Firefight Arcade.  Target locator is great for this as well.
Update: The Reach servers seem to be down for the moment.  You might have to do these challenges later.

See the Weekly Challenge here.

The WTF? Picture of the Week - Hermaphrodite Belle

Planning on doing this every week.  This will most likely become a Tuesday thing with a counterpart on Thursdays.  Either way, let me give you a little background on this picture.  I'm a military brat and had been dragged to the Base Exchange at Fort Meade last year.  There, while walking though the aisles, I saw this absolutely hilarious and internet worthy item.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/16/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
  • You will get this while working on "A Simple Spree" in Firefight Matchmaking.  Do not sweat it.
A Simple Spree - Earn any spree in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • This is really simplistic.  Just get ten kills in a row without dying in Firefight Matchmaking.  Load up Score Attack and do Gruntpocalypse or whatever you feel like.  Should be done really fast.
A Side of Huevos - Kill 60 enemies with the Sniper Rifle headshots in Nightfall on Normal. - 1500cR
  • Now this is the hardest challenge for today which is not saying much.  Load up Nightfall on Normal and by the end you should have the challenge completed.  SImply shoot enemies in the head with the Sniper Rifle.  Depending on how conservative you are with your ammunition, it might take another play through.
Multiplies - Earn 2 multikills in a multiplayer Matchmaking games. - 1000cR
  • Doable in any playlist.  Score a triple kill and this challenge is done.  Use grenades, lots of them.

Just a Heads Up.

A redesign of the blog is underway.  If things look a little off or completely crappy, I apologize.  I really do.  Comment if you hate or like anything you see.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/15/11

Please follow the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1350cR
  • Do as the challenge name tells you to.  Blast and Relax.  Today the challenges ask you to play through Firefight, Campaign, and Multiplayer.  Getting this challenge will not be an issue at all.
Demon - Kill 30 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1200cR
  • I would go for 2X Score Attack for this one.  You might have to play it twice, but at the end there are easily twenty elites for you to kill.  Maybe more.  DMR or a power weapon is here.  With 2X Score Attack you do 200% damage so it will be a breeze.
Cannon Fodder - Kill 75 infantry-class foes in Campaign today. - 1100cR
  • You can play any level you want for this.  Tip of the Spear is always fun and has a lot of infantry.  Depending on which level you choose, you might have to play the next level but just relax and blast away.  Work on some Campaign Commendations perhaps?
Cook 'em, Clean 'em - Kill 20 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking while you're jet-packing. - 2400cR
  • I guess Bungie feels that the jet-pack is underutilized since we have been seeing this challenge quite a bit recently.  Not too complicated at all.  Still head to Multi Team or Team Slayer and pick the standard Slayer gametype.  Remember that you have to be holding down the Armor ability button as you enemy dies otherwise you will not get any credit.
