The Challenges:
Shield Break! - Kill 50 Jackals. - 10000 XP
Jackals, man do I hate them. Well, at least on the higher difficulties as they can kill you in basically two shots if they have Beam Rifles. Ones carrying Needlers are a pain too but are more easily avoided. As well, remember that Jackals with shields can be made vulnerable if you shoot the notch in their shields. Now, none of the "Designer's Choice" chapters really have enough Jackals to sate this challenge but there are some chapters from previous Episodes that do. Namely, I am talking about Episode Seven, Chapter Three. This chapter features almost seventy Jackals. Set the difficulty a little lower and this is practically a walk in the park.

The Challenges:

One Spartan Army - Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, this challenge should take very little effort today thanks to just one of the other challenges. If you have yet to guess after looking, I am referring to the "Flat Tire" challenge. Now, you will need to play at least two games for the "Flat Tire" challenge but it is more likely that you will play four or so. You should be hitting about a hundred and twenty kills per game which means that four games will net you over four hundred kills. If you fall short by completing "Flat Tire" really fast, just play some extra games to bring in the remaining kills.

Demon - Kill 30 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2400cR
Well, this will be nowhere near as hard as it was before. That is pretty much due to another challenge, however, which will be mentioned late. Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two to three games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack playlist. You will be going for Sniper/FRG/Rocket Attack for the "Flat Tire" challenge and there should be ample Elites to slay in those gametypes. No extra work needed for this one but 2X Score Attack will be your best option if you do manage to fall short.

The Challenges:
Threading the Needle - Kill 8 Players with a headshot in a single match. - 5000 XP
To score a headshot in Halo 4, you need a headshots capable weapon, which include the DMR, the BR, the Magnum Pistol, the Sniper Rifle, the Covenant Carbine, the Beam Rifle, the Light Rifle, and the Binary Cannon. You can also apparently score headshots with the Bolt Shot, but I hate that weapon. Anyway, since you will playing in the Team Objective or FFA Regicide playlists today, you can easily score headshots in those. If you are having trouble scoring those headshots, however, head for SWAT. SWAT gives everyone a DMR or BR and a Magnum pistol and no one has shields. That means lots and lots of headshots.

The Challenges:

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Well, you will be visiting all the major modes of Reach today for these challenge and that means only one is in multiplayer Matchmaking like this one. I would not be too surprised if that challenge actually takes care of this one or brings it very close. "Killing Frenzy," as the name implies, requires you to score a Killing Frenzy and this is no small feat unless you are boasting or the like. If you do happen to finish this before scoring fifty kills in multiplayer Matchmaking, head to Grifball were the kills practically lay down in front of you.

Weapon Swap - Earn 10 sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game on Heroic or harder. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is earned when you score ten kills uninterrupted by death. In a single game, you can likely get up to six sprees if you stay alive the whole time. The first five will be for the first fifty kills, the last one for a hundred kills. You can also get weapon sprees and other miscellaneous sprees for this challenge as it does not state "Killing Sprees". That would, likely require you to get a gametype like Sniper Attack or go into Arcadefight. There are no other Firefight Matchmaking challenges today so this is your focus. You might want to die on purpose once you hit fifty kills to start over the sprees but that is your prerogative.

The Challenges:
Rolling Thunder - Earn 5 Killing Spree medals. - 3000 XP
A Killing Spree in War Games is earned when you score five kills in a row. As this challenge stipulates "Killing Spree medals" other sprees such as weapon and miscellaneous sprees will not count. Now, you do not need five in a single game, just overall but even that can be a bit of a task with the current state of War Games Matchmaking. You will undoubtedly be playing games in the Dominion playlist thanks to the "Dominator" challenge and this is good because objective gametypes are typically the best for getting killing sprees. Complete "Dominator" first and then move onto this one as you may get a spree or two while working on it.

The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
This challenge, at least for today, will be covered by the other challenges and will require no extra work from you. "Demon" will get you about two-hundred and forty kills and the "Cannon Fodder" kills will get you about a hundred or so kills. Finally, the "Make a Wish" challenge will likely bring in another fifty to a hundred kills. That one just depends on how long it will take to complete, which will vary from person to person. All in all, free credits today that will not require any extra work from you.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2800cR
This is the sole Firefight Matchmaking challenge of the day but it will all but complete the "Light Fare'" challenge for you so no problems there. Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack Playlist. Aim for 2X Score Attack since the final wave will always be twenty or so Elites. Do your best to make sure that none of them kill themselves and you will have this done in two easy games. You can also head to the standard Firefight playlist, but that will take a lot more work. Get to it.

The Challenges:
We Are The Champions - Win 3 matchmaking Slayer matches. - 7500 XP
Well, nothing wrong with still getting a bunch of experience points for this extremely easy challenge, is there? Again, definitely not complaining here. They could do challenges based on assists or something though. Now, the playlist that you play in for this challenge will largely depend on your personal preference and skill. Infinity Slayer, Big Team Infinity Slayer, SWAT, and Infinity Challenge Slayer are the options available to you, as well as Majestic Team DLC but that one has several gametypes to choose from. Be prepared to play well more than three games, however, if you are having little luck today. As well, try to get teammates with you who communicate, as that will make this all much easier in terms of scoring wins.

The Challenges:
Dawn Madness - Complete Dawn on Legendary difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 30000 XP
Last time I thought that they were going to start having us do LASO run-throughs but again that has apparently been saved for later. Now, Dawn is the first level of the campaign and also the easiest. The skulls we need to have on are Mythic (Double enemy health), Tilt (Weaknesses are weaker and strengths are stronger), Tough Luck (Enemies dodge a lot), and Thunderstorm (All enemies are upgraded to the next level). This will cause the most trouble with Elites as they will be much stronger and much deadlier, though all other Covies can be killed with a simple headshot. You do not have to do this solo so grab a friend and you can breeze through this in no time flat.

The Challenges:

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3800cR
All in all, this challenge will not get taken care of by the others today. I would consider this not to be terribly surprising due to the massive amount of kills needed for this challenge. Since the other challenges will not even complete "More than a Handful," they will only contribute about seventy-seven kills towards this challenge. For the remaining kills, it will be best if you head to the Score Attack playlist and try to play either 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse. Either gametype will get you about a hundred and twenty kills per game, so two games will finish off this challenge.

More than a Handful - Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
It is slightly weird to have two challenges like this today but, in the end, the one worth more kills is your objective. It just so happens that seventy-seven of those kills need to be in multiplayer Matchmaking. Now, "Explosive Ordnance Distribution" might bring in twenty to thirty kills while "Linked up with Bungie.net" will bring in absolutely zero kills. Once you have complete them, I would recommend heading to the Grifball playlist where you can score about thirty kills a game at minimum. Quite often the total is more and that means this challenge will take even less time to complete. Two games or three games should get it done.

The Challenges:
Deadeye - Kill 15 Players with a headshot. - 3000 XP
To score a headshot in War Games, you will need a headshot capable weapon. In Halo 4, these include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Magnum Pistol, the Sniper Rifle, the Covenant Carbine, the Beam Rifle, the Light Rifle, and the Binary Cannon. This is the typical number of kills being requested by 343i, so you should not be balking at fifteen headshot kills. Complete "Baller" first as you are likely to score some headshots there. The easiest way to score these headshots will be in a gametype like SWAT where almost all of the kills are headshots. You do not need fifteen in a single game so you can just play normally while you amass these headshots. It should not take more than two or three games.

Baller - Win 2 matchmaking Oddball matches. - 5000 XP
While there is no Weekly Challenge to directly help you with getting wins today, you will be going for Combat Skill Medals and Automatic Loadout Weapon kills which can all be done in Oddball. Now, Oddball is a moderately quick gametype if is played on a smaller map and it is easier to hold onto the ball as it can be passed (using the throw grenade button). Again, you will need a coordinated team when stepping into this playlist as they need to know how to guard the ball carrier but also, most of all, where to guard the ball carrier. The ball carrier always needs an exit so the other team does not easily retrieve the ball. This challenge will likely take more than two games so be ready for that.

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, you have plenty of challenges bringing in kills today, sparing the "Just a Shower" challenge which will only bring in about ten or so kills. The other challenges, however, will bring in a bunch of kills. "Cannon Fodder" will bring in about a hundred and forty kills since you will be killing non-infantry foes. "Blast Radius" will give you a hundred and twenty-five or so kills since it will take a single game to hit forty grenade kills. All in all, this challenge is taken care of for you so just play and have fun.

Cannon Fodder - Kill 100 infantry-class foes in the Campaign today. - 2250cR
When these challenges say "infantry-class foes" what they really seem to mean are Grunts. The custom challenge work properly in this regard but not these ones. Now, Grunts can be found on practically every level of the game but it is easiest to just start off with Winter Contingency and work your way through. There are several sections with a crap ton of Grunts so do not be afraid to die and start that section over to score more kills. Seventy-five kills will not take long and will likely be completed before you get to ONI: Swordbase. You will get a few kills while doing "Just a Shower" but not much.

The Challenges:
Spartan Takedown - Kill 15 Players. - 3000 XP
Easy credits, easy credits, easy credits. This is definitely the theme for War Games challenges now and will likely not change soon. Sadly, it seems that they have yet to realize that what people really want are good gametypes, not super easy challenges. You only need to get fifteen kills today in War Games, overall for this challenge. Not in a single game of in a specific mode, just over all. For most people, this is probably a single game's worth of kills depending on the playlist. You will have to play at least two games for the "Raise the Flag" challenge and that will pretty much fully take care of this challenge. Even if you are not going for that challenge, just play a standard slayer game or jump into the Grifball playlist. In the end, this challenge should take no work to complete at all.

The Challenges:

One Spartan Army - Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
So, this is the lone Firefight challenge today and it will take some effort to complete since none of the other challenges have you venturing into the Firefight Matchmaking playlists. I would head for Score Attack as you get kill faster and with less work. On average, you will get a hundred and twenty to a hundred and twenty-five kills per game. Stick to 2X Score Attack and Gruntpocalypse are the easiest gametypes. Four games will be enough to complete this challenge. Aim for small maps to speed everything along.

Sweep the Leg - Perform an Assassination in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
This is a simple enough challenge that I would bet that most players could probably complete with every other game they play. To score an assassination, you need to get behind an opponent and hold the melee button. This will trigger and assassination animation that needs to mostly complete for the assassination to count. The only other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today is "Gunslinger" which is asking you to get a hundred and fifty kills in multiplayer Matchmaking so it will not exactly get this challenge done for you. I would head for Team Snipers were you can easily sneak around people and score assassination. Attempts on elevations and in the air will go faster so aim for those if you keep getting show-stopped.

The Challenges:
The Kill-O-Tron - Earn 2 Multikill medals in a single match. - 3000 XP
Have multikills become a common occurrence for you yet? Hopefully, since you need them for this challenge. Regardless, easy experience points here. First off, a multikill is earned when you score multiple kills within four and a half seconds of each other. With two kills this will be a Double Kill but you can take this up to ten kills for a Killionaire (nine multikills). Now, Grifball has you equipped only with Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords. If you have yet to venture into this playlist, it will take some adjustment from Reach, but not much. You can play up to five rounds in a close game so you have plenty of time to score these multikills. Dominion is another options if Grifball does not agree with you.

The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
Just as yesterday was Firefight Thursday for challenges, today is Multiplayer Friday. It is unofficial I guess, but it have been like this for a year of more at this point. Well, a hundred kills is always pretty easy to come by and the challenge today will help with a little of this. The "Now I have a Machine Gun" challenge will get you twenty kills, "I'm Rubber, You're Glue" will get you a few kills, and "Triple Thrill" will get you maybe twenty kill. The rest will need to be made up by playing some extra games. You will get about fifteen kills per game but more if you head to a playlist like Grifball.

Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 20 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Automatic weapons in Halo Reach include the AR, the Plasma Rifle, the Plasma Repeater, the Needler, and the Brute Spiker. You will not really get to see the Brute Spike too much in multiplayer Matchmaking so focus on the AR and the Needler. Multi Team has always fared well for me with this challenge since you almost always start out with an AR and everyone is killing each other. Due to trying to get wins, however, you may want to stick with Team Slayer. This will only take a few games to complete, however, so it will likely not help you make a lot of progress on the "Light Fare" challenge.

The Challenges:
Drilled - Get 15 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon in a single match. - 5000 XP
Precision Loadout weapons in Halo 4 include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Covenant Carbine, and the Light Rifle. These are all the precision weapons that you can add to a customized loadout. Sniper, Binary Cannon, and Covenant Beam Rifle do not fall into this category. Now, some playlists, like SWAT, have you exclusively using these weapons and these are your best bets for completing these challenges. As all these games require sixty kills now, but your average number of kills should jump up a little putting fifteen just in range of a regular game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. This does need to be completed in a single game so expect this to take two or three games to accomplish.

The Challenges:

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, a hundred and twenty kills in Firefight Matchmaking today. Let's see. Don't think you need to worry about this one. The "Flat Tire" challenge will have you scoring about four-hundred to five-hundred kills while the "Heroic Spelunking" challenge will give you another a hundred and twenty-five kills. Looks to me like this challenge is definitely taken care of and will need little to no help from you to complete outside of working on these other challenges. Just free credits, as usual so try to enjoy them.

You might want to die on purpose once you hit fifty kills to start over the sprees but that is your prerogative.

The Challenges:
Creeping 'N Crawling - Kill 50 Crawlers. - 10000 XP
Well come to the finale of Season One of Spartan Ops. Not really much different, although we finally do get into some more interesting portions of the newer play spaces and see an end to this, pretty much, poorly done story. This challenge, asking you to slay eighty Crawlers will actually take the longest of all these three. Crawlers are typically easy kills, especially on Easy if you prefer it, by way of a simple headshot or multiple melees. Do look out for the ones equipped with a Binary Cannon, however, as they can one shot you on higher difficulties. Chapter One of Episode Ten has absolutely zero Crawlers for you to kills but Chapter two has eighteen. Chapter Three is back to having zero but Chapter Four picks it up with thirty Crawlers. Finally, Chapter Five has another thirty Crawlers to finish off this challenge. Hit Chapter Four or Five if you fall short due to co-op play.

The Challenges:

Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 5500cR
Well, this challenge will, most certainly, not be taken care of for you today by the other challenges. Not a chance in hell. The only other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge that you have will be the "Sweep the Leg" challenge which is just asking you to score a single assassination in multiplayer Matchmaking. Once you have that challenge done, focus on this one. Realistically, your best option is Grifball, unless you plan on putting a lot of playing time in today. In Grifball, you will typically hit about thirty to forty kills per game. That means four to five days to complete this challenge. Get a really even game that has a lot of back and forth and long rounds and that number of kills can double. Get to it.

Support Structure - Earn 30 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2250cR
So this is the lone challenge that will have you in Firefight today. Now, assists are awarded when you deal forty percent damage to an enemy and someone else gets the kill. For Firefight, this means you need teammates. For that reason, I am suggesting you play in the Firefight playlist. Score Attack is a solo adventure and will be no help here.. Communicate with your teammates so they know you are going for assists and not to worry about you getting mad if they steal kills. Expect this to take two to three games to complete.

The Challenges:
One, Two, Three, Four... - Earn 5 Multikill medals. - 3000 XP
A multikills in Halo 4 is earned when you score multiple kills each within four and a half seconds of each other. These are decidedly less common in Halo 4 than they were in Reach so you really need to set up the right gametype and such to score them. Now, having access to large number of enemies and heavy weapons is a great way to score multikills. Grifball is back so that is definitely an option for this challenge. You will likely find yourself in Oddball for the "Baller" challenge below and you can definitely score some multikills there so go to the other suggested playlists after finishing "Baller." In the end, you will likely end up in Grifball, though, as it is the easiest option. Good luck.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/19/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
Well, a hundred enemy kills today. As per the norm, these kills can be gained in any mode of Reach and the challenges today bring you into all the three main modes. Fortunately, one of these challenges will likely complete this all on its own. The "Flat Tire" challenge will probably have you playing about three to five games in the Score Attack playlist. A single game in that playlist will get you about a hundred and twenty-five kills. Add in the other challenges and this is practically overkill. Like usual, enjoy the free credits.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
If they would only change the spawn system to how it was at launch, this challenge would be a lot easier to complete as you could do it on most large open maps. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills by kiting around the final enemies, typically Hunters. Now, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take three to four games to complete or maybe even two if you get really lucky.

The Challenges:
Spartan Takedown - Kill 15 Players. - 3000 XP
Can everyone say "Easy credits are easy?" I know I can. You will have to play at least two games for the "Dominator" challenge and that will pretty much fully take care of this challenge. Even if you are not going for that challenge, just play a standard slayer game or jump into the Grifball playlist. In the end, this challenge should take no work to complete at all.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 2/18/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
So, the question today is whether or not this challenge will be taken care of by the other challenge. The most likely answer is "No!" Due to the lack of a Firefight challenge, you will be going out of your way for this one. "Secondary Fire" will maybe get you about twenty or so kills and "Golden Opportunity" may get you about twenty to thirty as well. Finally, "Do it! Do it Now!" will get you about eighty or so kills. This still leaves you about sixty kills short of this challenge. If you plan on playing multiplayer Matchmaking on your own today then have at it. Otherwise, I would suggest some Score Attack.

Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2875cR
Well, we haven't seen a challenge like this for months. I was starting to think that they had forgotten about the numerous other stats in Reach used for challenge. Now, you will earn an assist when you deal at least forty percent damage to an enemy who is killed by another player before that health is regained. My go-to mode for this has always been Multi Team since there are so many enemies and some many people to steal the kills from you. Aim for more concentrated maps like Countdown and stick to the high-traffic, lower areas when getting into combat. Actively try not to kills people, just damage them and then run away so someone else can pick up the kill. Should take three to four games to complete.

Halo 4 Campaign Weekly Challenges - 2/18/13

The Challenges:
Prediction Pain - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Famine, Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 10000 XP
So, unlike recent weeks, this challenge will not be completed by working on the other mission specific one. The addition of the Famine Skull to any already difficult challenge/level is never really a good idea so I am pretty much against the idea. For this challenge, you are most likely better off playing through the level Dawn as it is the easiest level in Halo 4. Now, the Famine skull will make it so all the dropped weapons in the level will have half as much ammunition, the Tough Luck skull will make enemies dodge more often, and the Thunderstorm skull will have all enemies upgraded, typically to their highest class. Probably won't actually be too painful, as long as you avoid any levels with Prometheans as they are the hardest enemies in the game.

Halo 4 War Games Daily and Weekly Challenges - 2/18/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Deft Hand - Earn 5 Combat Skill Medals. - 3000 XP
Combat Skill medals, as we all probably do not remember due to them being so obscure, include Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper medals. You need four of these overall today and they do not need to be in a single game. Use precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Sniper) to score Headcase (headshot on a running target) medals and then use grenades when you are near death for the From the Grave medal. Reload This is pretty much dependent on the other player but people need to reload their weapons. Killyjoys and Showstopper are a bit more rare and harder to get so do not focus on them. Should take a game or two to complete. Aim for objective gametypes to complete this challenge.

Raise the Flag - Win 2 matchmaking Capture the Flag matches. - 5000 XP
Guess we will probably go back to seeing these as regular fixtures most weeks. And I sigh because this makes me sad. Regardless, Capture the Flag is a gametype where you need a communicative team to help you capture the flag, but also defend you own flag. The one shitty thing about capture the flag is that it often goes down to the time limit with no one getting the required five scores to win it. Most of the maps are simply too big for that. So, one way to speed it up is to pick smaller maps. Two games should not take terribly long to win so enjoy these very easy credits. They will probably not stay like this for too long.

Bungie's Destiny Revealed!

Please subscribe to the blog and/or follow me on twitter!

Earlier today, Bunie Inc, finally released a ViDoc (posted above) detailing the upcoming game, Destiny.  Filled with animated concept art and what looks to be some mid-late Alpha or early Beta footage of the game.  Though no release date was set (I am pretty sure this will be coming out late Fall or Early Winter of 2013, you can already pre-order the game on PS3 and Xbox 360.  Sadly, no news on PC yet.

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
So, there is a chance that this challenge will be completed by the other challenges today, but it depends on how you do with the "A Simple Spree" challenge and the manner in which you complete it. If you go the full game route, you will complete this challenge and not even need to worry adding to your kill count since the average number of kills in a Score Attack games is about a hundred and twenty kills. If you do the Crashsite route, you will definitely fall short and will likely want to play more multiplayer Matchmaking games to make up for the lost kills.

A Solid Outing - Earn at least 13 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3343cR
You should be hitting, on average, about ten to fifteen kills per game in multiplayer Matchmaking in a typical standard playlist. That means that this challenge will likely only take a single game to complete, especially depending on the gametype you pick. Objective or large team gametypes are the best ways to score a bunch of kills but there is a lot of room to mess up and not complete this one if you are going for objectives, though, so just focus on killing. If you are having trouble getting to thirteen kills in a single game, try Grifball, since you can just rack up the kills there and you have a bunch of time to do it in.

The Challenges:
Spray and Pray - Get 15 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon. - 3000 XP
Automatic Loadout Weapons in Halo 4 include the AR (Automatic Rifle), the Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. The Needler and the Chain Gun do not count for these challenges as you cannot equip them in loadouts. These fifteen kills, luckily, do not need to be in a single game and can be earned over the entire day. Whichever weapon you choose will depend on several things, the first of which being what weapons you have unlocked, the next being the type of combat you prefer. The Storm Rifle has the tightest spread but is the weakest while the Suppressor is the most powerful but is the most inaccurate. The AR sits in the middle being the best compromise to both weapons with a decently concentrated spread and good power behind it. I would stick to objective gametypes as they will allow you to get in close quarters and score these kills.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/16/13

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, you do have a fair number of challenges today that will be helping you score kills. However, there will not be enough kills to cover the requirements of this challenge. "Single Wield" will get you sixty or so kills, a Side of Heuvos will get you about sixty as well, and "Iron Will" will probably bring in twenty or so kills. This leaves you forty kills short of your target. You can either play a simple game in the Score Attack playlist or three to four extra games of multiplayer to finish this challenge off.

Single Wield - Earn 60 kills with small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2350cR
Small arms weapons in Reach include the Magnum Pistol, the Needler, the Plasma Pistol, and the Brute Spiker (which is damn near impossible to find in multiplayer Matchmaking). Now, if you venture into Team SWAT you can easily score headshots with the Magnum, especially if you can score the SWAT Magnums gametype. Otherwise, you will want to stick to smaller areas so you do not get DMR'd in the head. Should take five to six games to complete if you have a bad game or two. That is, of course, assuming that you score about ten to fifteen kills a game and do not dip below that number.

The Challenges:
Drop Bears - Assassinate 2 Players in a single match. - 5000 XP
Instead of the typical three assassinations for this challenge, instead you will need to score two assassination in a single game. You can trigger an assassination animation by holding the melee button behind an enemy. The animation needs to mostly complete for it to count. Now, Team Slayer Pro had been the best playlist for me to get assassinations, but that is now gone so we need other playlists. I have had luck in FFA Regicide on maps like Haven or Adrift (more Haven than the other one) which means stick to smaller maps. Dominion might be worthwhile for some, but that maps are much larger so you will likely need to hide in the bases.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/15/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 5500cR
So, a hundred and fifty kills are needed today for this meager amount of credits. Well, the other challenges will not take care of this one today. In fact, the other challenge will all likely be completed in a single game and require very little work from you. At most, they may get you thirty to fifty kills, which still leaves you about a hundred short. Now, the other hundred or so kills you need will be easiest to come by in a gametype like Grifball, interestingly enough. So, just keep playing Grifball. Other large kill per game playlists include Invasion, Multi Team, Big Team Battle, and Team Objective. Pick your poison.

T-Hug It Out - Kill 7 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
Close quarters combat in Reach are kills typically made with the Gravity Hammer, Energy Sword, Shotgun, Melee, or Assassination. Grifball will get you all but one of those (which is the Shotgun) and they are pretty much the only kills you can get unless the bomb explosion kills someone for you. Seven in a single game is a piece of cake as you can easily get thirty to fifty close quarters combat kills. This means that you will only need one game to finish this challenge, and most likely the other ones below as well. Not really a lot of hard work today for these easy credits.

The Challenges:
The Kill-O-Tron - Earn 2 Multikill medals in a single match. - 3000 XP
Just two multikills? Really? And they know Grifball is still in matchmaking, right? Well, easy experience points here.

Halo 4 Spartan Ops Weekly Challenges - 2/14/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Harvesting Hunters - Kill 5 Hunters. - 20000 XP
You have got to love how these Weekly Challenge are still worth a crap-ton of experience points even though they are getting slightly easier each week. Five Hunters, compared to other weeks when they wanted ten or more, is pretty much a walk in the park. Now, remember that the back is the weak spot on a Hunter so put as many shots as you can into that area. Episode Five is the new content this week and you will find a decent number of Hunters in it. Chapters One and Two both boasted two Hunters while Chapters Three and Five had none to speak of. Chapter Four, however, had a healthy dose of six Hunters. If you somehow fall short, undoubtedly from playing Co-Op, head to Chapter Four to finish it off.

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000cR
So, I think this may actually be the first time in the history of these challenges that we have had every single challenge be worth the same number of credits. This is especially interesting since some are a hell of a lot harder than others. Well, regardless, this challenge will easily be taken care of by any of the other challenges today. First off, a single game in the Score Attack playlist will yield about a hundred and twenty kills while the standard Firefight playlist will get you about a hundred kills. In other words, don't have much work to do here.

Survivor - Earn 9 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is earned when you score ten kills in a row without dying. You can get up to five sprees, four short of what you need for this challenge, by scoring fifty kills without dying. You should be scoring these quite easily so this challenge should take little time to complete. This challenge does not stipulate just Killing Sprees so weapon and other miscellaneous sprees will also count. Once you hit fifty kills I would just die so you can start those sprees over and have this done in no time flat. 2X Score Attack and Gruntpocalypse are the preferred gametypes for this challenge. Will most likely get taken care of while you work on "On the Sixth Respawn..."
