Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/23/13

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 400 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
So, this is the lone Firefight challenge today and it will take some effort to complete since none of the other challenges have you venturing into the Firefight Matchmaking playlists. I would head for Score Attack as you get kill faster and with less work. On average, you will get a hundred and twenty to a hundred and twenty-five kills per game. Stick to 2X Score Attack and Gruntpocalypse are the easiest gametypes. Four games will be enough to complete this challenge. Aim for small maps to speed everything along.

Sweep the Leg - Perform an Assassination in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
This is a simple enough challenge that I would bet that most players could probably complete with every other game they play. To score an assassination, you need to get behind an opponent and hold the melee button. This will trigger and assassination animation that needs to mostly complete for the assassination to count. The only other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today is "Gunslinger" which is asking you to get a hundred and fifty kills in multiplayer Matchmaking so it will not exactly get this challenge done for you. I would head for Team Snipers were you can easily sneak around people and score assassination. Attempts on elevations and in the air will go faster so aim for those if you keep getting show-stopped.

Vengeance Found - Earn your 'Revenge' in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
To score a 'Revenge', you need to kill an opponent who just killed you. This sounds very simple and, generally, it is. After you die you do have a slight advantage because you know where your opponent just was while he/she may not be sure where you will spawn. You will likely complete this challenge while you work on the other ones so do not stress over it but, if you are having trouble, head to the Grifball playlist where 'Revenge' medals are rewarded all the time.


The Magic Number - Complete 7 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Haven't seen this challenge in a few months but the only difference is the name. Completed games are completed games, no difference for all the challenges. For games to count in Reach, you need to complete them from start to finish. If you are dropped, booted, or quite from the game, they will not count towards this challenge. "Vengeance Found" and "Sweep the Leg" will likely get you about a game each so play whatever gametype you enjoy for the remaining five games.
