Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 2/3/13

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2250cR
So, whether this challenge is taken care of for you depends on whether "Bulletproof" takes one or two game. In a typical game, you will get about a hundred to a hundred and twenty kills. This will leave you short of the a hundred and fifty goals needed for this challenge. If you play two games for that challenge, than this is taken care off. Otherwise, play an extra game in the Score Attack playlist to finish off this challenge.


Put Your Quarter Up - Complete 15 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2750cR
Well, fifteen games to complete today. Thanks to the Weekly Challenge, asking you to score fifty wins this week, you will be playing at least eight games today. If you can make all of those wins, awesome! If you are like the rest of us and are not that lucky, then expect to play extra games anyway. Get your eight wins and then worry about this challenge. As usual, quitting, disconnecting, or getting booted will cause games not to count for this challenge and for the Weekly so try and behave and hold off on rage-quitting. Expect about ten to fifteen minutes per game.


Bulletproof - Complete 3 Rounds in a Firefight Matchmaking game without dying. - 2250cR
This will be the most irritating challenge of the day but your best bet for this one is in the four-player Firefight Playlist. A map like Beachhead or Glacier is likely the best for this challenge as you can utilize the jet-pack to hide up on the higher parts of the map. Now, for gametype, I would go for Sniper Fight or Arcadefight. Both of these gametypes grant you access to good power weapons that are effective at range. Utilize the other players and do not venture away from them. Being alone means that you will eventually be outnumbered. Strength in numbers is what you need for this challenge.

Eyes in the Sky - Kill 20 enemies with the Designator in ONI on Heroic. - 2500cR
This is rare weapon that is only seen in a few places in Reach. However, the one on ONI: Swordbase is very easy to get to and to use. Load up Rally Point Bravo and then start to make your way towards the base gate. Once you enter it, the Target Designator can be seen on the right. You can very easily tag an enemy that is coming down the ramp and bring the fire down on them. Ideally, one salvo will complete this challenge. If it manages to fall short, you do have another salvo or you can just reload a checkpoint to add to your total.
