Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/31/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
You should not have a problem with this challenge since you will rack up a hundred kills easily in the two to three games it takes you to complete "Support Structure." If you happen to get it done in a single game and do not reach a hundred kills, head to Score Attack for a game of Crashsite and finish off the challenge.

Support Structure - Earn 30 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2250cR
This challenge will force you to play in Firefight Limited or Arcade and will also need you to communicate with your teammates, or at least stay near them. I swear, sometimes people cannot see that I am gifting a kill for them unless I yell it at them. I do not know why. Anyway, try to pour a few shots into enemies and then alert your teammates, but be quick. The teammate's kill has to be achieved within about four seconds or you will not get an assist. I would personally stay away from Rocket Fight. Too much damage dealt.

Points Pyramid - Score 25,000 points on any Campaign mission. - 1500cR
My go to for this has always been New Alexandria since you can simply go Banshee Hunting in your Falcon. The Banshee Hunting method can be seen here. But, if you plan on getting the LASO challenge done today, that should hit this point total easily since this LASO Run requires you to kill a fair number of Covies.

Explosive Ordnance Distribution - Earn 5 kills with ordnance weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1250cR
This challenge is a little mean. Most people have trouble getting even the regular three kills and they boosted it up to five. But, I think there is an easier solution: Action Sack. Go for a gametype like Splockets, BOOM! Ball, or Rocket CTF and you should hopefully be able to get the five ordnance weapons kills. The only other playlist I would suggest this in is Multi Team, on a map like Swordbase and with a game like Crazy King.

Halo Reach: LASO Weekly Challenge Guide: Part 9 – The Pillar of Autumn: II

Time to finish this sucker off.  Good luck.

(See Part I here.)

The Pillar of Autumn Walkthrough (cont'd):

This first platform you come out to will be your base of operations. You will leave your Plasma Pistol here until it is needed. I will say now that credit for the strategy in the remainder of this guide goes to Tyrant, again. Tell him, "Thank you."

Halo Reach: LASO Weekly Challenge Guide: Part 9 – The Pillar of Autumn: I

Please follow the blog and follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the LASO guide or LASO in general? Post them down below!

Just like we all knew it would, it seems as though the curtain is coming to a close on these LASO challenges, though I would not be surprised to see the survival level Lone Wolf pop up for some sort of LASO challenge in the coming weeks.  Regardless, you still have to get through the Pillar of Autumn first.

This mission is no breeze by a long shot, but it is actually easier than you might think.  It just requires, like all LASO runs, patience and strategy.  There are some very trying parts near the end, but nothing that cannot be easily overcome.  Video of the run can be seen here and here.  If you need to review LASO strategies and tips, look here and here.

(Quick Note:  Many of the strategies here are from the fantastic Reach Mythic guides of Tyrant over at Halo.bungie.org.  All credit for these strategies goes to him or RC Master, who I believe found some of these tricks.  These guys are Mythic Gurus and if you ever have a chance, tell them "Thank you!")

The Pillar of Autumn Walkthrough:

The goal of this entire level is to get the package, the fragment of Cortana's memory, to the Pillar of Autumn in Azod.  You start out on a doomed Pelican piloted by Carter and you eventually jump out with Emile.

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1350cR
This is a challenge that you do not need to all worry about. Between the twenty kills for multiplayer, two-hundred kill in Campaign, and the a hundred and fifty kills needed in Firefight, it is probably safe to say that you will hit a measly hundred and eighty kills. It is math. For once, it is our friend.

This is My Rifle... - Earn 20 kills with precision weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Team SWAT is my suggestion for this challenge. Luckily, the summary does not require twenty kills in a single game, but only twenty over all. Two games of Team SWAT will pop this challenge for you, but if you do need it, play an extra game to get you over the hump. Remember, SWAT requires a single headshot so just aim for the head.

There Are Many Like... - Kill 200 enemies with precision weapons in the Campaign today. - 1500cR
If you try for the Weekly LASO Challenge today on The Pillar of Autumn, you can get a large chunk of these kills taken care of. Otherwise, I would recommend setting the difficulty back to Heroic, turning a lot of Skulls off, and starting up Nightfall and Tip of the Spear in succession. Both have tons of precision weapons (DMR, Sniper, Needle Rifle, Focus Beam Rifle) and you should have no trouble getting to two-hundred kills.

Heroic Holdout - Kill 150 enemies on Holdout on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
This will require two games of Score Attack on Holdout to complete. If you play a normal game, like 2X Score Attack, that should get you up to a hundred and twenty kills or so. Getting Crashsite on Holdout next would be preferred but it unpredictable. Unless you don't mind dying ten times, just play through a second game on the level to complete the challenge. You can also go to Firefight Limited or Arcade, but that will likely take two game as well. Oh yeah, this is kind of a taunt considering the Weekly Challenge. Very funny, Bungie.

The Weekly Challenge:
The Pillar of Autumn: LASO - Complete The Pillar of Autumn, Legendary, All Skulls On (LASO). - 17777cR
The guide will be up within the next hour.
Part I is now up!

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/29/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

(Sorry about the tardiness with today's and yesterday's guides.  Been working on the next LASO guide and there are a lot of kids at my house.)

The Challenges:

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. -1100cR
The really question for this challenge is, "How many kills will I get doing 'Bulletproof'?" I do not have the answer to that. I would suggest finishing of the "Bulletproof" challenge first. There is a very high chance that it will take multiple games. If it does, you will have no trouble hitting a hundred and twenty kills. If it only takes one game, hop onto Score Attack and polish off the remaining kills in Crashsite.

Eyes in the Sky - Kill 10 enemies with Designator in ONI on Heroic. - 1000cR
This challenge will be much easier than you think. Load up ONI Sword Base, Rally Point Bravo. This will start you just as you are re-entering the initial Courtyard. Look to you right in the garage and behold, a Target Designator. Use this on the group of Covies that comes at you and ten kills should be in the bag. If you do not happen to get ten kills, remember that you have a second shot, or you can simply restart from the rally point.

Bulletproof - Complete 2 Rounds in a Firefight Matchmaking game without dying. - 1100cR
Firefight Arcade will be your preferred playlist for this challenge. I have performed this feat in Firefight Limited before, but it has not happened for a long time. And Score Attack simple does not have enough rounds in a game to fulfill the challenge requirements. Go for a game on the maps Beachhead and Glacier which have very nice camping spots. Sniper Attack is preferred, but Rocket and FRG Attack are doable as well. Still try to get kills because there is a time limit and you do need to make it to the third set without any deaths.

Freelancing - Earn at least 21 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2100cR
Like usual, if you need a lot of kills, head over to the Grifball playlist. Twenty-one kills should be hit very, very easily. Most people will hit that before the game is even halfway over. Get to hammering for an easy twenty-one hundred credits. Of course, any objective game in another playlist is also a good chance to rack up twenty-one kills. Think Multi Team.

Last day to complete the Weekly Challenge.  See how to do it here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/28/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
Overall, the challenges today are not too difficult and should not take very long. Grifball will be a quick and easy solution for three of the challenges whereas the final one will require a quick run-through of Nightfall. Hitting a hundred kills will take you about three to four games of Grifball. Or, once you get "Close Talking" and "Three Dog Fight" finished, you can load up Firefight and rack up the kills. The choice is yours.

Close Talking - Earn 30 kills with close quarters combat in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1250cR
Almost every single kill you get in Grifball is close quarters combat. I mean, your only weapons are the Hammer and the Sword. Since you cannot throw either of those, you will be getting in close. Just hammer away at your opponents. If you find yourself constantly getting beat, try to swing earlier or take a step back as your opponent swings. Unfortunately, lag plays a huge role in who wins these hammer battles.

Three Dog Fight - Earn a Triple Kill in Multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Triple Kills are quite common place in Grifball. In fact, Killtrocities are not even uncommon. You only need a single Triple Kill and you should have no problem. Remember that you can have about four seconds between each kill. And try not to make the bomb carrier your first or second kill, because, though you might kill him, he will kill you to and therefore end your multi-kill.

House of Pain - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic with Mythic, Tilt, and Thunderstorm on. - 2500cR
Fastest way to get this done is to run through our favorite level, Nightfall. Set the game to Heroic, turn on the skulls Mythic, Tilt, and Thunderstorm, and then get through Nightfall in about five minutes. See how to run-through the level right here via my LASO guide. That is really all there is to it. Really easy stuff today. Just relax, cause I smell a new LASO challenge coming soon.

Only two days left to complete Weekly Challenge.  See how to here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/27/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000cR
You will be doing a lot of Matchmaking today. The most tiresome challenge will be the "Put Your Quarter Up" challenge. The issue here is, however, that fifteen games in multiplayer Matchmaking will probably not get you to four hundred kills unless you through some Grifball. five or six games of Grifball, depending on their length and you connection can yield about two hundred kills plus quite a bit of change. Do not expect to get fifty kills every game though.

Then you should step over to Team Snipers for the "Came From Behind" and "Neuroscience" challenges. This may rack you up another fifty or so kills in about three or four games. So we have narrowed it down to about a hundred or so kills left. At this point, as well, you should have player about eight to ten games played leaving a much smaller number for the "Put Your Quarter Up" challenge. Polish all that off in the Living Dead playlist and you should be done. Note that you may want to slip in a game of Firefight at the end just to polish off any remaining kills.

Came From Behind - Perform 3 Assassinations in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1200cR
For the first time in a long while, I did not enjoy this challenge earlier this week. It took me about five games to get, but they were five aggravating games. Still, it is the fastest method I know of and I actually got five assassinations in that game. I urge you to play Team Snipers but pick small maps. I got the challenge done on Boardwalk, but I had absolutely no luck on a map like Hemorrhage. Remember small maps and constantly circling around your opponents is the key to success.

Neuroscience - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1200cR
This is another good reason to play Team Snipers. You can get the ten headshots done here very easily. Sniper only take a single shot to the head to kill an opponent, whether they have shields or not, as compared to a DMR in which you must drop the shields first. If you are unable to get this challenge in Team Snipers, there is definitely a chance you can get it done in Living Dead if you happen to be a survivor all three rounds and are on a good map. Good luck aiming for the head.

Put Your Quarter Up - Complete 15 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1750cR
See Shootin' and Lootin' for completion tips.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/26/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1875cR
All the challenges today are Firefight and none are controller-breakers.  Well, "Flat Tire" possibly is but we will get to that in a moment.  Again, I am urging you to play in Score Attack.  These two-hundred and fifty kills should take just over two games, but you will be playing three to four games anyway.  The kills will come before everything else is finished so this one should not cause you any worry.

Flat Tire - Kill 5 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Sniper Attack on Holdout is you best option for this.  You might be enticed to play 2X Score Attack so you can also get the Elite kills taken care of but, I urge you, do not do that.  Killing vehicles at all during 2X Score Attack does not seem to count towards the challenge.  This may have something to do with the damage multiplier, but who knows.

You can actually pick  Sniper, FRG, or Rocket Attack, but Sniper is the easiest.  You simply need to make the game timer go down to about zero.  During this time there is a chance that up to five Banshees will spawn for you to kill.  There could be as little as two, though.  Typically, three is the number you should assume you are getting.  Take them out with two sniper shots.  Good luck kiting the last Hunter behind.  It should not be too hard.

Blast Radius - Kill 40 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with grenades. - 1000cR
You can spread this challenge out through the multiple games or just get it done in a single game.  The preference is up to you.  You will die quite a few times during Sniper Attack since you will be trying to extend the game and scanning the skies so you might as well toss out all those grenades.  Hitting Grunts as they spawn is also a fantastic way to rack up the kills.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1400cR
You will amass maybe ten or twelve Elite kills while going for the Flat Tire challenge.   This means that you will most like needs about thirty kills to finish off this challenge.  This will mean two games of 2X Score Attack since you get a wave of twenty to twenty-five Elites at the end.  They are quite easy to kill in 2X Score Attach.  The AR rips right through them and the DMR is a machine at distance.  Wipe them out and secure these easy credits.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/25/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Fifty kills is a breeze, right? You will have to play some games for the "Came From Behind" challenge, but how many is kind of up in the air. You might hit this before the Assassination challenge is completed or have some remainder left over. Pick you poison and get up to fifty kills so you can jump onto Firefight or Campaign next.

Killagruntjaro - Earn 10 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1100cR
Another ten multikill challenge? Well, free credits, I guess. Play a single game of Crashsite in the Score Attack playlist for this challenge. Remember that multikills in Firefight have a much shorter timer than Multiplayer. Multiplayer gives you about four seconds between kills whereas Firefight gives you about one second. Get your ten multikills and then you can either finish the game or die or let the generator explode. Lots of options there.

L.D. Winter - Complete Winter, without dying, on Legendary, with Mythic, Thunderstorm, Tilt, and Tough Luck on. - 5000cR
Now, this is one of the easier missions on any difficulty. You can run through half of it. Look at my LASO guide here to see how.  As well, die all you want. You can save and exit right before the last objective. Then load it up again and finish that last objective for the challenge. There is a very high chance that you will not even die on this mission, but follow the LASO guide and you should be fine.

Came From Behind - Perform 3 Assassinations in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1200cR
I have always fared well with this challenge in Team Snipers. The players in that playlist tend to not pay attention to their surroundings at all and love to put themselves into a spot that is easily circumvented. This allows you to rack up the assassinations. Go for small maps, such as Pinnacle or Boardwalk. You will have very little luck getting three Assassinations on Hemorrhage. This will take you anywhere for two to five games.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/24/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 400 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000cR

  • Hitting four hundred kills today means that you are definitely going to be playing some Firefight. Since you will also be playing through The Pillar of Autumn, you should rack up a serious number of kills there. You are even required to play some matchmaking today. Just something for everyone. Pick which ever challenge you want to start with first and then work your way through. After you have finished, play Firefight to polish off the challenge.

A Friend in Need - Earn 10 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
  • No Score Attack for this one. Today you have to be, Gasp!, social. Well, being social would make it a lot easier. If you have some friends you can play with, that would be preferred since you will most likely talk to them. You need to communicate for this challenge and, with any luck, you can get it done in a single game. Do not pick a gametype like Rocket Attack since Rockets deal too much damage. Instead stick to Snipers, FRG, or load up Firefight Limited. This should take one to two games.

L.D. Pillar - Complete The Pillar of Autumn, without dying, with Mythic, Thunderstorm, Tilt, and Touch Luck on. - 5000cR
  • Let us view this as a teaser for next week's Weekly Challenge. You know, that LASO thing we do every other week. I have no straight out tips for this challenge. The best thing I can say is this; Die as much as you want. Remember with these Legendary challenges that you can play through and simply save and quit and start the game back up just before the final objective, which is, in this case, the MAC gun. Be patient with this level and try to remember some of the techniques you come up with for next week's LASO run.

Killing Frenzy - Earn a Killing Frenzy in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
  • Head to Grifball, Living Dead, or your favorite playlist for this challenge. A Killing Frenzy is ten kills without dying and is nothing to bat an eye at. I have had the most luck with this challenge on Zombies on Boardwalk. I have also had some success with Grifball but that is very dependent on your connection. And if you have a playlist you tend to do awesome in, give it a try. Good luck.

See the Weekly Challenge here.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 5/23/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
Once you have finished off the "Pass the Rock" challenge, you will probably need another eighty or so kills. To me, that sounds like a great time to load up Grifball and simply rack up the kills. Grifball can get you up to sixty kills, but be a bit more realistic and expect about thirty or so. This means expect about three games of Grifball to polish off this challenge.

Pass the Rock - Earn 20 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
As usual, Multi Team is the playlists to get assists in. You assist-kill ratio is something to consider when you also look at the "More than a Handful" challenge but you should be able to rack up about six to eight assists a game in Multi Team. Caution though, do not pick Rocket Hog Race. You will get nothing out of it for your challenge completion. Stick to either slay or, even more preferably, any sort of objective game like Crazy King.

There Are Many Like... - Kill 100 enemies with precision weapons in the Campaign today. - 1000cR
So precision weapons are DMRs, Snipers, Needle Rifles, and Focus Beam Rifles. Nightfall has a lot of these and so does Tip of the Spear. Playing those two missions regularly, in succession, should be enough to hit a hundred kills with precision weapons if one is not enough. The bulk of you kills should be on Nightfall and the remainder should be mopped up on Tip of the Spear.

A Satisfied Thirst - Kill 100 Grunts in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1000cR
A single game of Gruntpocalypse will be the best way to get this challenge. Load up Score Attack and pick a small map like Courtyard, if you have the chance, to speed the game along. There are typically a hundred and twenty enemies in Gruntpocalypse so as long as you finish before the timer expires you should have all the kills you need.

The Weekly Challenge:
Not in the Face - Complete any Campaign mission on Heroic in 15 minutes with Black Eye on. - 9000cR
This Weekly Challenge is insanely easy. The recommended way to complete this challenge is a really simple speed run through of Nightfall. See how to do the speed run here! Set the difficulty to Heroic and turn on the Black Eye Skull and any other skulls you want on. That is entirely up to you. After that, run through the mission and you are done. Nine-thousand credits in five to six minutes and you barely even had to break a sweat.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/22/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
All the challenges today seem to be geared towards making sure you finish off that Weekly LASO challenge.  This challenge and "Cannon Fodder" are basically one in the same and you will get one when you get the other.  This one will possibly come earlier due to other non-infantry targets which can be killed in Campaign.

The Little Guys - Kill 75 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 1000cR
This challenge will be much the same as "Cannon Fodder" in that you only have to kill Grunts.  You will end up killing a hundred for the other challenge so this should pop on your way there.

Points Pyramid - Score 25,000 points on any Campaign mission. - 1500cR
Again, the LASO Challenge for this week will easily get this daily challenge done for you.  However, twenty-five thousand is such a low number that you can get it done by simple going Banshee hunting on New Alexandria.  (Look here to see what that means!)  Any of the mission in Halo Reach if fully played out on Heroic with one or two skulls one should have no trouble netting this challenge for you.

Cannon Fodder - Kill 100 infantry-class foes in the Campaign today. - 1250cR
The infantry-class is an interesting specification.  I does not mean just anyone on foot.  It means non-leader and non-specialist, walking enemies.  Most of the enemies in a LASO run will not count as "infantry-class," only Grunts.  Your best bet is to really abuse the Firefight-like portion of the LASO challenge.  If you have already played through the LASO challenge and added it to your mantle, then simply load up Winter Contingency and play through it on Heroic to rack up the Grunt kills.

Last day to complete the Weekly.  See how to complete The Package on LASO difficulty here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/21/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
It is probably a safe assumption that during your quest to complete these other challenges, you should be pretty well on your way to a hundred kills.  In the course of trying to win four game you should be there with no trouble.  If you do end up a little bit short, worry not and load up a Firefight match to take care of the remaining kills.

Helping Hand - Earn 10 assists today in Multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Multi Team is fantastic for this challenge.  Crazy King is the preferred medium but any gametype in this playlist will get it done.  The trick is to actually not try to kill enemies.  Let your teammates, or one of the other teams, do that.  Just work on taking down shields of opponents and you should have no problem racking up assists.  As well, do not go for assists in out of the way places of the map.  Make sure you are very visible.

Light Fuse, Run Away - Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
This is another one that is much easier to get in Multi Team.  Multi Team tends to have a lot of player in small spaces.  This is perfect for grenades.  Wait for clusters to form and then frag away.  Plasma Grenades are even better if you can stick someone going into a crowd and bring in a nice multikill.  Good luck with the grenade spamming that is sure to be occurring today.

Home Field Advantage - Win 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1600cR
The best way to get this challenge done is to logically increase your chances of winning.  So, stick to gametypes that only have two teams.  A lower number of teams raises your chances of winning the game.  It is easier to compete against one team than five.  As well, stick to games you are good at.  If you want wins, stick with people you know and can really on.  Chemistry is good to have as well.

Only two days left.  See how to complete The Package on LASO difficulty here.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/20/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1350cR
It would almost seem as though the challenges are getting slightly easier during the past couple of days. That means that they are probably going to be tough this weekend. Get ready for it. Anyway, a hundred and eighty kills shouldn't be a problem. Once you finish all these very easy multiplayer challenges, load up and game of Firefight or keep playing multiplayer.

Explosive Ordnance Distribution - Earn 3 kills with ordnance weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
The Explosive Ordnance challenge is back again. I'm cautious of suggesting Multi Team again just because of the inane number of people who selected Rocket Hog Race while I was playing. You do not get basically any kills in the gametype and if you do, you are most likely in the Turret which does not count as an explosive ordnance. But, keep at Multi Team. If you get a map like Swordbase with a game like capture the flag you are all set. Just pick up the Concussion Rifle or the Grenade Launcher and shoot into the crowd.

Chaddlesby's Justice - Avenge your teammates' death 3 times in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1360cR
The Avenger medal is nowhere near as hard to get as a Revenge medal. Basically, once someone kills one of you teammates, you kill him really fast. There, you have then Avenged your teammate. This is especially easy if you have teammates who like to rush and be the first ones in. Helps you spot all the enemies.

Neuroscience - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1200cR
A single game of Team SWAT will hopefully net this challenge for you. Just aim for the head and score ten kills. It is as simple as that. This might also be a decent playlist to score some Avenger medals in due to how easy it is to kill an opponent. It is also very easy to be killed so be aware of your surroundings.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 5/19/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 1000cR
Everything today can be done in Firefight Matchmaking and you should be able to finish it off in two games.  This challenge of achieving a hundred kills should be accomplished in a single game and should be out of your mind very quickly.  Just make sure you are selecting 2X Score Attack and everything should be fine.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1400cR
This challenge is the reason you want 2X Score Attack and that you will need to play two games.  Used to be that getting forty Elite kills in Firefight would take a while, but now, the entire final wave is about twenty-five Elites.  An AR and DMR will completely tear the Elites apart.  A word of caution about the Target Locator, I used it once and took out about ten Elites and none of them counted for a challenge.  Just stick to standard weapons to avoid any shenanigans.

Killagruntjaro - Earn 7 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
I do not need to say anything for this.  You should be hitting well over seven multikills in any Firefight Matchmaking game.  If not, stop!  You seem to be doing something wrong.  Seek help, immediately! But no, this should be very easy to achieve and should happen pretty early on in the match.  At worst, you do have two matches to do this in.

Points, Points - Score 15,000 points in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1500cR
Die only once, preferably near the end of the game, and you should have no problem getting this challenge.  The trick to getting a high score is Kill Streaks and Multikills.  Get a lot of both without dying and you should reach fifteen thousand fairly early.  Good luck.
