The Challenges:
Harvesting Hunters - Kill 25 Hunters. - 10000 XP
Well, Hunters are not the hardest enemies you will face, since the strategy on them is so damn easy. It is interesting to see that this XP value used to suffice for two-hundred and fifty hunters is eight-thousand credits, but twenty-five hunters brings in ten-thousand. Now, remember that the back is the weak spot on a Hunter so put as many shots as you can into that area but do not be afraid to just nail one with heavy weapons. Since we are not getting any new Episodes for the foreseeable future, they are simply playing through the first season again. Ignore their little play-through, however. Episode Three, Chapter Four is Shootout in Valhalla and this level has about thirty Hunters in it. A single playthrough, solo, on whatever difficulty you like will complete this challenge.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, the hope today is that this challenge will be taken care of by the "Flat Tire" challenge which it most definitely will. It is asking you to get ten vehicle kills in Firefight Matchmaking. To get that, you will need to complete several games in the Score Attack playlist which will likely yield about a hundred and twenty kills per game, just enough to complete this challenge. There is a definite chance that you can end up short of this number, however, so pick a large map. Covies are less likely to kill themselves on larger maps.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
This, as usual will be the focal point challenge of the day and will likely take all of your attention. As well, you need the full ten vehicles instead of five. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills by kiting around the final enemies, typically Hunters. Unfortunately, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take four to five games to complete or maybe even three if you get really lucky.

The Challenges:

Spartan Master Killer - Kill 8 Players in a single War Games match. - 800 XP
Eight-hundred points? What is the point of anyone trying to complete this challenge? You can get that in a single game. Makes no sense. Anyway, this first challenge, asking you to score eight kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, you need a playlist with a lot of player and no kill limit. That pretty much means Dominion or Grifball. I would head for the larger vehicles, like Scorpion and Wraith Tanks. Stay near bases to play defense and you should have no trouble racking up the kills. Grifball allows you to get an insane number of kills regardless. This is also doable in most other slayer-based playlists, just easier in Dominion and Grifball.

The Challenges:
More Than a Handful - Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
It was almost a multiplayer Matchmaking exclusive day, sparing the "Survivor" challenge down there. That is fine with me, however. Now, seventy-seven kills in a single day is not a lot but they do all need to be in multiplayer Matchmaking. Complete "Sticky Icky Icky" and "Five-time Champ" first as they are likely to provide a bunch of kills for this challenge and may even completely take care of it. If you do end up short, head to Grifball and work on the Weekly Challenge. That should do well enough to finish off this challenge.

Sticky Icky Icky - Earn 3 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2250cR
Sticky grenades (aka Plasma Grenades) are one of the more interesting weapons in the Halo sandbox and we have had them since Halo CE. You need to get three sticky kills with these in a single game. That means that you stick someone and then the grenade explodes and kills them. It does not count if people near the player die from the explosion, it only counts the player you stuck. The best playlist for this challenge is Multi Team since you can get the Elite Slayer gametype where you always spawn with a single Plasma Grenade. In Multi Team you have a bunch of targets so I would try specifically for those. Now, Slayer Pro in the MLG playlist is also an option, but you do not have as many targets. Remember, you need three in a single game.

The Challenges:

Dawn Madness - Complete Dawn on Legendary difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 6117 XP
Still no LASO challenges. Really? The population for this game is dying and there needs to be something to spur people into playing. LASO could probably do that but whatever. Now, Dawn is the first level of the campaign and also the easiest. The skulls we need to have on are Mythic (Double enemy health), Tilt (Weaknesses are weaker and strengths are stronger), Tough Luck (Enemies dodge a lot), and Thunderstorm (All enemies are upgraded to the next level). This will cause the most trouble with Elites as they will be much stronger and much deadlier, though all other Covies can be killed with a simple headshot. You do not have to do this solo so grab a friend and you can breeze through this in no time flat.

The Challenges:

That's Just Perfect - Complete a War Games match with at least 15 kills without dying. - 5000 XP
They keep having this challenge but felt the need to get rid of the perfection medal. It makes absolutely no sense to me. Anyway, this will be a complete and utter pain to accomplish. On the bright side, this is unlike a perfection in Reach where you also needed to win the game. Now, you will likely want a large gametype, like Dominion, where you can hang back and just get kills. Small maps do not afford you enough room to hide once you hit the fifteen required kills. You will also need teammates that will give you a lot of opportunities to yank their kills and who will protect you once you need to hide. Unfortunately, this will take a bunch of games to complete so get ready for the long haul. Complete "Baller" first, however.

Baller - Win 5 matchmaking Oddball matches. - 2000 XP
It does seem that the XP rewards has increased in general this week, so it is a step in the right direction. Now we just need better challenges. Oddball is a moderately quick gametype if is played on a smaller map and it is easier to hold onto the ball as it can be passed (using the throw grenade button). Again, you will need a coordinated team when stepping into this playlist as they need to know how to guard the ball carrier but also, most of all, where to guard the ball carrier. The ball carrier always needs an exit so the other team does not easily retrieve the ball. This challenge will likely take more than five games so be ready for that. Due to the changes in playlists, you will need to head to the Team Objective playlist for this challenge.

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
A hundred and eighty today, in all honesty, should not take too long to complete, especially with the other challenges that we have below. "Home Field Advantage" will probably bring in about a hundred and change kills minimum. "Demon" will likely add another two-hundred and forty kills while the "There Are Many Like..." challenge will net about fifty kills. All in all, this amounts to well more than the required kills for this challenge. Just relax and enjoy these free credits since the other ones will take some work.

Home Field Advantage - Win 8 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4400cR
Eight wins can definitely be challenging to some but this challenge needs little explanation. All the others today are multiplayer Matchmaking challenge so go ahead and complete those challenges first as you can possibly get wins while completing them. Afterwards, stick to gametypes with no more than two teams, in a playlist you are good at, and with people you know on your team. This can take up to sixteen games to complete so be ready for the long haul. Grifball is one of the faster gametypes, along with Team SWAT. Really depends upon personal preference here.

The Challenges:

To The Victor Go The Spoils - Win 6 matchmaking War Games matches. - 2000 XP
As I usually say, it is good to see more general "wins" challenge, since the specific gametypes one are annoying as hell. To get wins you need to follow some pretty simple rules. First off, stay away from any playlist that features more than two teams. The lower the number of teams, the higher your chances of being on the winning one. Secondly, stick to gametypes that you know and are good at. Exploring different game modes can be fun, but it you are going for wins, it is a bad idea. Finally, play with teammates that you know and play well with. Communication and knowing your team is key to scoring wins quickly. It makes life so much easier. Be ready to play up to double or more games than wins needed.

The Challenges:
I Am The 99 Percent - Kill 100 Elites. - 22500 XP
Since there are no new seasons of Spartan Ops apparently even planned (then why the fuck do you call it "Season One"?) 343i has started replaying the various episodes in matchmaking from start to finish. Disregard those, however, since it is faster if you avoid matchmaking. First off, you will need to see about scoring fifty Elite kills. Now, the best mission for this is the Episode three mission "Shootout in Valhalla." There are a ton of Elites that are dropped and, as well, every Banshee and Wraith gives you a Elite kill as well. On Heroic, a single solo game brought in fifty Elite kill. Play through it twice and that should complete take care of this challenge.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
So, this is the lone Firefight challenge today and it will take some effort to complete since none of the other challenges have you venturing into the Firefight Matchmaking playlists. I would head for Score Attack as you get kill faster and with less work. On average, you will get a hundred and twenty to a hundred and twenty-five kills per game. Stick to 2X Score Attack and Gruntpocalypse are the easiest gametypes. One game will be enough to complete this challenge. Aim for small maps to speed everything along.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 8 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2600cR
Close quarters combat kills are typically kills made via the Shotgun, Gravity Hammer, Energy Sword, Melee, or Assassination. Now, the best playlist in which to get these kills is the Grifball playlist. Grifball will allow you to get all of those except for Shotgun kills since there is simply no Shotgun in Grifball. You should be hitting probably around thirty kills per game in Grifball so eight kills will take very little time at all. To be honest, you probably will not even need to go into Grifball for this so do it last if you do not get it done while working on the "Five-time Champ" challenge.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 4/26/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 25 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, you need twenty-five kills today in multiplayer Matchmaking. All in all, this is pretty much taken care of by the challenges and I see no real reason to write much more about this challenge. The "Single Wield" challenge will bring in a hundred kills, at minimum, and "Three Dog Fight" may also bring some in. As I said, this challenge is pretty much taken care of, so do not worry about it.

Single Wield - Earn 100 kills with small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Small arms weapons in Reach include the Magnum Pistol, the Needler, the Plasma Pistol, and the Brute Spiker (which is damn near impossible to find in multiplayer Matchmaking). Now, if you venture into Team SWAT you can easily score headshots with the Magnum, especially if you can score the SWAT Magnums gametype. Otherwise, you will want to stick to smaller areas so you do not get DMR'd in the head. Should take two to three games to complete if you have a bad game. That is, of course, assuming that you score about ten to fifteen kills a game and do not dip below that number.

The Challenges:

Spray and Pray - Get 50 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon. - 1000 XP
Well, this is more than it was worth last time, at least. Still needs to award a bit more credits, however. Automatic Loadout Weapons in Halo 4 include the AR (Automatic Rifle), the Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. The Needler and the Chain Gun do not count for these challenges as you cannot equip them in loadouts. These fifty kills, luckily, do not need to be in a single game and can be earned over the entire day. Whichever weapon you choose will depend on several things, the first of which being what weapons you have unlocked, the next being the type of combat you prefer. The Storm Rifle has the tightest spread but is the weakest while the Suppressor is the most powerful but is the most inaccurate. The AR sits in the middle being the best compromise to both weapons with a decently concentrated spread and good power behind it. I would stick to objective gametypes as they will allow you to get in close quarters and score these kills. Expect this challenge to take a four or five games to complete.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Well, it is a Firefight Thursday, sparing the one lone campaign challenge below. Not sure what happened there, to be honest. Anyway, complete "L.D. Pillar" first to score about a hundred or so kills and then move on to the Firefight challenges. The hope is that you will get enough kills while playing campaign that you only need to play a single game to complete this challenge. "Katanarama" and "A Simple Spree" will provide no additional kills for this challenge as they will both be taken care of in a single game. If you are still short after one game, hop on for another and finish this challenge off.

Katanarama - Kill 1 enemies using the Energy Sword in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
You have two options for this challenge and both are pretty easy. The first option is to head to the standard Firefight playlist and get a game of Arcadefight. One of the loadouts there has the Energy Sword, so just score a single kill with it. The other option is going to the Score Attack playlist and doing 2X Score Attack. The final wave is always Elites and a few will have swords. Kill one of them, get his sword, and score the kill for the challenge. Personally, due to "One Spartan Army" challenge, I would go the Score Attack route today.

The Challenges:

To The Victor Go The Spoils - Win 3 matchmaking War Games matches. - 1000 XP
Hey! The last time we had this challenge, it offered 38 XP for just two wins. I am definitely liking this change some more though. It is good to see a more general "wins" challenge however.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 4/24/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
More Than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
Well, there is one other challenge here today that will be in multiplayer Matchmaking and it will take care of a large chunk of the kill needed for this challenge, perhaps all of them. Typically, you will score about twelve to fifteen kills per game. Completing seven games for "The Magic Number" will get you about ninety to a hundred kills, so you will still be a little short. For the remaining kills, it is entirely up to you. Just have fun and try and play whatever gametype you enjoy with friend. For me, Grifball is the easiest as you can easily rack up the needed kills.

Demon - Kill 30 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2400cR
Well, this will be nowhere near as hard as it was before but it is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today. Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two to three games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack playlist. In the Score Attack playlist, you will want to aim for the 2X Score Attack gametype. The final wave of every game will have about twenty Elites for you to kill. This means that you will need to play at least two games to finish off this challenge. You can also play in the standard Firefight playlist, but it will take longer.

The Challenges:

To Be Precise - Get 100 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon. - 2200 XP
I guess, at least the XP reward went up with this one from last time, instead of down. Precision Loadout weapons in Halo 4 include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Covenant Carbine, and the Light Rifle. These are all the precision weapons that you can add to a customized loadout. Sniper, Binary Cannon, and Covenant Beam Rifle do not fall into this category. Now, some playlists, like SWAT, have you exclusively using these weapons and these are your best bets for completing these challenges. As all these games require sixty kills now, your average number of kills should jump up a little. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. Expect this challenge to take eight to ten games to complete. However, complete "We Are The Champions" first to get the kills you can from that.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, you see the "Survivor" challenge just below this one? Besides this challenge, asking for a hundred and twenty kills in Firefight Matchmaking, it is the only other Firefight Matchmaking challenge. As well, it will require you to play a single game of Firefight Matchmaking, most likely in the Score Attack playlist. Games in the Score Attack playlist will typically get you a hundred and twenty kills. I'm hoping that everyone else here can see the significance of that. In other words, this challenge is taken care of for you today. No need to waste time worrying about it. Just move along.

Survivor - Earn 5 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is earned when you score ten kills in a row without dying. You can get up to five sprees, four short of what you need for this challenge, by scoring fifty kills without dying. You should be scoring these quite easily so this challenge should take little time to complete. This challenge does not stipulate just Killing Sprees so weapon and other miscellaneous sprees will also count. Once you hit fifty kills I would just die so you can start those sprees over and have this done in no time flat. 2X Score Attack and Gruntpocalypse are the preferred gametypes for this challenge. Try to score some headshots too.

The Challenges:

Threading The Needle - Kill 12 Players with a headshot in a single match. - 1250 XP
To score headshots in Halo 4, you need a headshot capable weapon. This means a DMR, BR, Magnum Pistol, Light Rifle, Covenant Carbine, Sniper Rifle, Covenant Beam Rifle, or a Binary Cannon. The BR, DMR, Light Rifle, and Covenant Carbine are all loadout weapons so if you play in playlist that are objective-based or have high kill limits, you should have no problem completing this challenge. If you are having trouble reaching eleven headshots in a single game, head to the SWAT playlist. SWAT will allow you to immediately score headshots and will also allow you easy access to the DMR and BR. Try to work on "We Are The Champions" challenge first, as you will likely get a bunch of headshots while working on it.

The Challenges:

Oh, It's On! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Storm and Tough Luck skulls. - 22000 XP
Well, another week and another set of Campaign weekly challenges. This week, the focus is on Reclaimer, but not for this challenge. I would definitely not recommend doing this challenge at the same time as "You Reclaim Me!" due to how much more difficult it will make the game. For this challenge, you need to turn on the Mythic skull, which doubles all enemy health, the Thunderstorm skull, which upgrades all enemies, and the Tough Luck Skull, which causes all enemies to dodge and go berserk more often. Due to these skulls, I would run through this on Dawn. As well, this way you only have to play it on Heroic instead of Legendary.

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 40 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Well, you have challenges today in all the "big-ticket" modes of Reach. Not all that surprising to be honest as it is the start of a new week. Now, this challenge is bidding you to get forty enemy kills in multiplayer Matchmaking. Sparing the "Multiplicative" Weekly Challenge, there is only one other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today, which is the "Twin Trips" challenge. In all likelihood, it will not get you to forty kills. Might get you quite close, though. Expect to play a second game of Grifball or whatever you want to finish off this challenge.

Cannon Fodder - Kill 75 infantry-class foes in the Campaign today. - 2100cR
When these challenges say "infantry-class foes" what they really seem to mean are Grunts. The custom challenge work properly in this regard but not these ones. Now, Grunts can be found on practically every level of the game but it is easiest to just start off with Winter Contingency and work your way through and to the next levels. There are several sections with a crap ton of Grunts so do not be afraid to die and start that section over to score more kills. Seventy-five kills will not take long and will likely be completed after you get to ONI: Swordbase. This is the only Campaign challenge today so do not expect much help from anywhere else.

The Challenges:

Raise The Flag - Win 5 matchmaking Capture the Flag matches. - 2000 XP
So, about two weeks ago, this challenge for two less wins was worth almost four times as much experience points. Way to hit us when we are down, 343i. Not only do you make it harder, but you reward us less. Come on. You can do better. Regardless, Capture the Flag is a gametype where you need a communicative team to help you capture the flag, but also defend you own flag. The one shitty thing about capture the flag is that it often goes down to the time limit with no one getting the required five scores to win it. Most of the maps are simply too big for that. So, one way to speed it up is to pick smaller maps. You will need to venture into the Capture The Flag playlist for this challenge, obviously, but games can also be had in the Castle DLC, Team Doubles, and Team Throwdown playlists.

Removalist - Win 5 matchmaking Extraction matches. - 1500 XP
I guess, since there are no Weekly Challenges asking for wins, they thought we might get confused and threw another winning-focused challenge up here. Oh, how nice of them. Now, Extraction is a newer gametype that is typically played on large maps. There are several objectives on the maps upon which your team is able to play a device to extra points essentially. This device can be taken over repeatedly by either team during its forty-five second space. Good teammates are a must for this playlist as you need to hold these two spots. Now, five wins means that you may have to play ten or more games as it depends on your teammates and your opponents. Make sure you go for some killing sprees too while you are at it.

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 5343cR
Well, a hundred and fifty kills today in any game mode in Reach. Like usual, at this point in the week, this challenge will be taken care of by the other challenges. "The House of Blue Leaves" challenge will get you a hundred and twenty kills, or so, unless you play in the standard Firefight playlist. The "Short, Controlled Bursts" challenge will get you another two-hundred kills. All in all, this definitely takes care of with the other challenges.

Return of the Mack - Kill 35 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 3000cR
Elites are the hardest enemies that you will face in Campaign but they are neither rare nor plentiful in the game. The best mission to find them on is ONI: Swordbase, the second level of the campaign. Play on Heroic so AI teammates are not stealing your kills. As well, remember that as long as you damage the Elite, an AI teammate can get the kill and it will still count as yours. One playthrough of ONI will likely not be enough to complete this challenge so play through to Nightfall if you need to. You are already playing these levels for the "Short, Controlled Bursts" challenge so just make sure you use automatic weapons.

The Challenges:

The Kill-O-Tron - Earn 3 Multikill medals in a single match. - 1000 XP
So, Grifball is still here since it was introduced into matchmaking some time ago. Due to that addition, this challenge is easy as hell and will take absolutely no time to accomplish. First off, a multikill is earned when you score multiple kills within four and a half seconds of each other. With two kills this will be a Double Kill but you can take this up to ten kills for a Killionaire (nine multikills). Now, Grifball has you equipped only with Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords. If you have yet to venture into this playlist, it will take some adjustment from Reach, but not much. You can play up to five rounds in a close game so you have plenty of time to score these multikills. Dominion is another options if Grifball does not agree with you.

The Challenges:
Creeping 'N Crawling - Kill 350 Crawlers. - 7500 XP
I didn't really mind Crawlers in campaign. In Spartan Ops, however, they are a different issue entirely. This challenge, asking you to slay eighty Crawlers will actually take a while if you are not in the right Chapter. Crawlers are typically easy kills, especially on Easy if you prefer it, by way of a simple headshot or multiple melees. Do look out for the ones equipped with a Binary Cannon, however, as they can one shot you on higher difficulties. Now, this best of selection does not really have any levels that have a high amount of Crawlers. Instead, I would suggest play Episode Nine, Chapter Five "Hammer." This chapter has eighty-three Crawlers for you to slay so play it about six times to finish off this challenge. If you would like to enter matchmaking, then your best option is Episode Ten, Chapter Five "Try It Again" which has thirty Crawlers.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, all of these challenge will pretty much take care of this one today. The "Came From Behind" challenge will not add much but the other two challenges will. First off is the "There Are Many Like..." challenge which will, at minimum, get you two-hundred kills and probably more. Secondly, we have the "Who's the Big Winner?" challenge. This one will get you probably several hundred kills as well. Regardless, not extra work will be required to complete this challenge today.

Came From Behind - Perform 2 Assassinations in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2200cR
To score an assassination in multiplayer Matchmaking you need to get behind an enemy and hold down the melee button. Doing so will trigger an animation that needs to mostly complete for the assassination to count. Now, scoring two in a single game can be meagerly challenging so head to the Team Snipers playlist. In Teams Snipers, players tend to lose focus and can be easily flanked, especially on small maps. Assassination on inclines and in the hair occur quicker so aim for those if you are getting "Showstopped" often. This will likely not happen while working on the other challenges so go for this one first.

The Challenges:

To Be Precise - Get 75 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon. - 1500 XP
As all these games require sixty kills now, your average number of kills should jump up a little, though seventy-five kills will remain well out of range for almost all players in a regular game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. Expect this challenge to take five to six games to complete.

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 5500cR
Well, a hundred and fifty kills in multiplayer Matchmaking will definitely take some time today. There are two other multiplayer Matchmaking challenges, "Throwing Fireballs" and "Three Dog Fight," but they will most definitely not get you to the a hundred and fifty kills needed for this challenge. You will need to play a bunch of extra games to complete this challenge. My suggestion would be that you hit Grifball as you can easily get thirty kills a game in that playlist. Invasion and Multi Team are also good options.

Throwing Fireballs - Kill 2 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
Two grenade kills in a single game will actually be quite easy. You can use Fragmentation (Frag) Grenades or Plasma (Sticky) Grenades to score these kills. Gametype is important and Multi Team has always done the best for me since you have nine targets and all of them are also trying to kill another nine targets. Go for small maps like Countdown (Swordbase is a little too big) and head to the middle. Just toss your grenades as people are attacking each other and you should be all set. Expect this to take a single games to complete as this challenge is very simple.

The Challenges:

Deft Hand - Earn 25 Combat Skill Medals. - 2000 XP
Combat Skill medals include the Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper medals. You need twenty-five of these overall today and so you will need to be ready to play a lot of games. Use precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Sniper) to score Headcase (headshot on a running target) medals and then use grenades when you are near death for the From the Grave medal. Reload This is pretty much dependent on the other player but people need to reload their weapons. Killyjoys and Showstopper are a bit more rare and harder to get so do not focus on them. You can expect to get about two to four medals a game. Complete "Dominator" first, however, as you will probably get some Combat Skill medals while playing it.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, a hundred kills today in Firefight Matchmaking, which is not exactly a lot. These are taken care of by the other challenges today so no need to go and worry about this challenge. Now, the "Take a Dip" challenge will score you anywhere from a hundred and twenty-five to two-hundred and forty kills. It is the exact same situation for the "Fortified Court" challenge. It all depends on whether or not you play a full second game or go for the Crashsite gametypes. As well, "A Simple Spree" will add no additional kills on top of those. Regardless, this will take care of the a hundred kills needed for this challenge.

Take a Dip - Kill 125 enemies on Waterfront in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
So, unfortunately this will quite possibly require two games to complete. Waterfront is an okay map, though not my favorite for any sort of Firefight since you can easily get flanked or surrounded and enemies seem to pour in from everywhere. Now, a hundred and twenty-five kills is just past what you would typically get in a single match of Score Attack or in the Firefight playlist so this will require two games. There is a chance with Drop-pods that you can get over a hundred and twenty-five, but I would not bet on it. The second game can be Crashsite if you are lucky enough to get it for this map.

The Challenges:

Spartan Master Killer - Kill 15 Players in a single War Games match. - 1750 XP
Does anyone else find it weird that Halo 4 has several different names for the same challenges? Simplify this shit, 343. We can still tell that they are the same challenges. This first challenge, asking you to score fifteen kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all.

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, I am pretty sure today that this challenge will get taken care of by the other challenges today. You just need a hundred and eighty for these credits. "Unto The Breach" will score you two-hundred and forty kills, "Short, Controlled Bursts" will probably bring in another two-hundred to two-hundred and fifty kills, and then "Double Nickels" will bring in about twenty to thirty kills or more depending on how long it takes you. Unless my high school math skills are extremely rusty, that all together equals more than a hundred and eighty kills. Good luck and get to slayin'.

Unto The Breach - Kill 150 enemies on Corvette in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
I actually enjoy Corvette, maybe because it is basically a skeleton of Midship from Halo 3, and I do not typically enjoy Covenant themed stuff. It is a close-quarters map so games should go by pretty fast. I would stick to the Score Attack playlist and choose either 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse (which is the easier one). Either gametype will let you score about a hundred and twenty kill per game which means that you will need to play two games to complete this challenge. I really wish they would have just put this at two-hundred kills, to be honest but the credit value isn't that high anyway.

The Challenges:

One, Two, Three, Four... - Earn 5 Multikill medals. - 1000 XP
A multikills in Halo 4 is earned when you score multiple kills each within four and a half seconds of each other. These are decidedly less common in Halo 4 than they were in Reach so you really need to set up the right gametype and such to score them. Now, having access to large number of enemies and heavy weapons is a great way to score multikills. Grifball is back so that is definitely an option for this challenge because it is practically a multikills generator, though somewhat less do to everyone always having sprint. Five multikills will likely only take a single games to complete in the right gametype. Complete the "Infected" challenge first, however, as you may get some multikills there.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Well, at least there is another Firefight Matchmaking challenge today, unlike other days this challenge is up here. So, two-hundred and fifty kills is somewhat of an annoying amount. Typically, you can score a hundred and twenty kills in a single Firefight game in the Score Attack playlist. Two-hundred and fifty kills is that awkward spot just out of reach of two games, but overkill for three. Regardless, complete "Be Their Huckleberry" first. Afterwards, you can complete a single game in the Score Attack playlist, like Crashsite, to get those remaining ten kills extremely fast.

Be Their Huckleberry - Kill 200 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the pistol. - 1500cR
This challenge will be very easy and simple to complete as long as you have the right playlist and gametypes. You will want to jump into Score Attack and play Gruntpocalypse. This gametype is all Grunts, which you can score easy headshots on, but, more importantly, it gives you a Magnum Pistol. Be wary of the Ultra Grunts which will take two headshots to slay, however. Two hundred Magnum kills will definitely take a while, two games to be exact, but you need kills for the "One Spartan Army" challenge anyway.
