The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
It will be a multiplayer Matchmaking day as all the other challenges fall into that category. These challenges, however, will not in any way, shape, or form, get you to a hundred and eighty kills. It just will not happen. What you will need to do is, after getting all the kills you can from these challenges, hop on over to Firefight Matchmaking. Playing a single game in the Score Attack playlist can get you a hundred and twenty kills (that means 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse). Otherwise, you can keep playing multiplayer Matchmaking all day. The choice is yours.
Showtime - Earn 5 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1250cR
An assist is earned when you deal forty percent damage to an enemy who is killed by someone else. Typically, you would think that this person stole your kill. Now, Multi Team has always been a good place to score assists since there are so many targets and so many people to steal the kills from you. If Multi Team is not your cup of tea than I would recommend heading to Team Objective or just FFA or Team Slayer. The choice is yours so figure out what works best for you. It will likely take a game or two but you should have no problem hitting the five assists.
Better, Closer, Warmer - Earn at least 10 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2500cR
To be extremely honest, you should have no trouble with this challenge. This score total is well below what you should be hitting on average in even a slayer match in which kills can be limited. However, if today is proving difficult for you for scoring kills, head to an objective gametype where you have more time or just head to Grifball. Grifball makes everything easier as it will allow you to score almost thirty kills per game and no one has anywhere to hide as well as spawning really fast. Complete this challenge last of these three and then move on to "Blastin' and Relaxin'."
Un, Deux, Trois - Win 3 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2900cR
Looking from before, it has been a month since we have had this particular challenge. I only wish the Halo 4 challenges were that spread out. Winning three games should not take too long at all if you follow some specific guidelines and do not play completely horribly. First off, stick to gametypes with only two teams. Multiples of teams means that your chances of being on the winning game are much lower. Stick to gametypes you are good at. That one is pretty obvious. Finally, try to play with friends as you will communicate and function better with them. This should take about four to five games to complete, but do not be surprised if a few more are needed. Take care of this challenge first.
