The Challenges:
That's No Moon! - Complete Requiem solo on Legendary difficulty. - 3000 XP
I thought we were doing LASO challenges. They need to make up their damn minds over there so we can get used to playing through these levels on a certain difficulty. Personally, I think this kind of sucks, as we could get more interesting Weekly Campaign Challenges, but alas. Requiem is actually a decently long level and making it harder on yourself is not a great idea. All of this level is just facing your standard Covenant forces so there are no special techniques except to make sure you utilize you armor abilities and just take it slow. Another thing to be mindful of is that you use appropriate weapons at appropriate times. I.e. do not waste a rocket on a single Grunt that you can just go melee. As well, you can die as much as you want, so do not be afraid to fail and restart a section. This isn't LASO. thankfully.

The Challenges:
Dawn Madness - Complete Dawn on Legendary difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Tough Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 5500 XP
Thought they had us pretty much only doing random LASO challenges now. Guess not. This is a welcome change however, since LASO in this game is a complete pain unless you do a full four player co-op playthrough. Now, Dawn is the first level of the campaign and also the easiest. The skulls we need to have on are Mythic (Double enemy health), Tilt (Weaknesses are weaker and strengths are stronger), Tough Luck (Enemies dodge a lot), and Thunderstorm (All enemies are upgraded to the next level). This will cause the most trouble with Elites as they will be much stronger and much deadlier, though all other Covies can be killed with a simple headshot. You do not have to do this solo so grab a friend and you can breeze through this in no time flat.

The Challenges:
Prediction: Pain - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Famine, Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 3500 XP
No need to worry about this challenge today, as it will be taken care of by the other campaign challenge, "DAWN SLASO." Since SLASO difficulty uses every skull on the highest difficulty, any challenge requiring a specific set of skulls and a certain difficulty is completed upon completing the SLASO challenge. Nothing to see here. Move along.

The Challenges:
Oh, It's On! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Storm and Tough Luck skulls. - 4000 XP
Well, another week and another set of Campaign weekly challenges. This week, the focus is on Reclaimer, but not for this challenge. I would definitely not recommend doing this challenge at the same time as Turn It Off!" due to how much more difficult it will make the game with the other challenge requiring a Legendary solo run of Shutdown. For this challenge, you need to turn on the Mythic skull, which doubles all enemy health, the Thunderstorm skull, which upgrades all enemies, and the Tough Luck Skull, which causes all enemies to dodge and go berserk more often. Due to these skulls, I would run through this on Dawn. As well, this way you only have to play it on Heroic instead of Legendary.

The Challenges:
Turn It Off! - Complete Shutdown solo on Legendary difficulty. - 5000 XP
So, Shutdown actually has a shortcut now that allows you to cheat through the first two towers and you can practically make it through this level in just minutes. Who knows if this will still work once an update rolls out, but we can only hope. Now, you will start out and the jump into the Pelican attempting to fly to the towers in order to stop the Didact. Instead, you will want to fly to the final tower you go to in this level and you can just squeeze the Pelican in. Land and continue on. The game will act as though you completed everything else (thank you triggers!) and you can basically run through the final part, though watch for the hunters, to the end of the level. A video has been posted for this method, not mine, and all credit goes to Nak3dHalo for the vid.

The Challenges:
This Is Gonna Hurt - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Famine, Tilt and Thunderstorm skulls. - 4500 XP
So, you are likely going to see both of these challenges and think to do them at one time. Today, for the first time in a long time, you would be correct. The only difference would be the addition of the Mythic Skull from the "Stormy Vengeance" which will not make a whole lot of problems on Heroic difficulty. Now, the Famine Skull will cause all weapons on the ground to have half as much ammunition, the Tilt skull will modify the damage tables, and the Thunderstorm skull will upgrade all enemies. Instead, I would run through Dawn as it is the easiest level of the game and also has the most placed weapons so it will be unaffected by the Famine Skull.

The Challenges:
The Coming Of The Dawn - Complete Dawn solo on Legendary difficulty. - 4000 XP
This is the first level of Halo 4 and, most likely, the easiest as it will attempt to re-introduce the player into Halo and showcase any changes made from Reach. In other words, it is our Winter Contingency for Halo 4. You can die as much as you want for this challenge as there is now "without dying" stipulation. This level does allow you to fall back and keep your distance so utilize the Magnum and BR during the Observations deck sequence and the exterior sequence. Does not take too long to complete so these are really easy credits. I would be more worried about "The Conductor" challenge as the level is a lot harder than Dawn.

Well, another week and another set of Campaign weekly challenges. This week, the focus is on Reclaimer, but not for this challenge. I would definitely recommend doing this challenge at the same time as " Infinity And Beyond." due to the challenges being so similar. For this challenge, you need to turn on the Mythic skull, which doubles all enemy health, the Thunderstorm skull, which upgrades all enemies, and the Tough Luck Skull, which causes all enemies to dodge and go berserk more often. Just complete "Infinity And Beyond" and it will take care of this one for you. You don't really have a choice in the matter.

So, you are likely going to see both of these challenges and think to do them at one time. However, due to the fact that "The Conductor" does not require the any skulls and is on a higher difficulty, I would urge you to not do that. Composer is a difficult level that has a lot of enemies. You can also skip parts during the final fights but just sprinting from button to button, in essence.

The Weekly Challenges:
I Would Walk 500 Miles - Complete Reclaimer on Legendary difficulty without dying. - 14000 XP
Hmm, two new Campaign challenges for this week. How very interesting. Actually, they are not exactly new, just continuations in already started series of challenges. This one, is asking you to play through Reclaimer without dying on Legendary. However, it does not state that you have to do so solo. This means grab a friend (or friends) and you can bang out this challenge and "Midnight Huddle." Specifically for Reclaimer, when you get to vehicular combat, do not let the Marines drive, it will just get you killed. Let them man the gun to so you can live and take multiple vehicles so you have more firepower. Eventually you will get a Scorpion Tanks and, at that point, just blast the hell out of everything. This mission does seem to go on for a while so be patient with it.

The Weekly Challenges:
Dawn SLASO - Complete Dawn solo on Legendary with all skulls on. - 15000 XP
I find it a little hard to believe that it took them this long to finally start doing LASO (Legendary, All Skulls On) challenges. This is also raising the bar a bit because they are demanding that we are doing these solo. I must admit that I was not expecting these challenges since I thought they had pretty much given up on these challenges. Anyway, this means that I don't have and SLASO guides for Halo 4 yet. I also haven't seen any reliable guides yet so I will get working on one. Check back here later and I will try to link to it once I have it done.
UPDATE:
I have to be honest here, I tried to do this. I found it so fucking frustrating and annoying. Due to the meager amount of XP that it rewards and the fact that the game will get a shit-load harder with the Prometheans appearing, I'm not really willing to go ahead and do SLASO guides for this entire game. I could do co-operative LASO, but not SLASO. I'm simply not that patient right now. Here are some people who did do it successfully and I would recommend looking at their videos; Naritsu1, OldnAchy, and Aura313Productions. Again, I really wish I had the patience for this right now, but I simply don't. By the way, utilize the Save and Quit technique a lot!

The Challenges:
Sunrise With Friends - Complete Dawn co-operatively on Legendary difficulty. - 12000 XP
I remember when this was a new challenge, back in the day, two and a half months ago. Nothing really new since then, unfortunately. Regardless, this challenge wants you to play the initial level of the game, Dawn, co-operatively on Legendary difficulty. This is actually a rather easy challenge as Dawn is the easiest, shortest level of the game and no skulls are required. A run-through would probably take about thirty minutes tops. However, you can save time by having your friend run ahead, especially once you are on the hull of the ship, to the next objective. Unfortunately, "Composition Chaos" is for the level Composer, otherwise you could likely get this done relatively quickly. Now, instead, you will need to play two levels today rather than just a single run through.

The Challenges:
Requiem For A Friend - Complete Requiem co-operatively on Legendary difficulty. - 12000cR
Now that we have twice completed the "slightly, harder than Legendary but not quite LASO" weekly challenges, we have moved on to the Legendary co-op phase of challenges. Well, at least it is different. Now, after Dawn, Requiem is the next easiest level in Halo 4 because it lacks Prometheans. The level, however, is a bit on the long side and has plenty of Elites for you to worry about. A teammate will, of course, make the run slightly harder, but not by much. Make sure you utilize you armor abilities and just take it slow. Another thing to be mindful of is that you use appropriate weapons at appropriate times. I.e. do not waste a rocket on a single Grunt that you can just go melee. Conserving ammunition is very important for this level.

The Challenges:
Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Cloud, Catch and Tough Luck skulls. - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Cloud, Catch and Tough Luck skulls. - 10000 XP
Gotta love this challenge name. I really hope it does not get fixed, to be honest. It is so unique this way and you will know it the moment you see it. So this challenge and the other Campaign Weekly Challenge, "Oh, It's On!" have only one skull in common. This means that I would not recommend doing them together. Do them separately. For this challenge, the Cloud skull hides your radar, the Catch skull makes enemies through grenades more often, and the Tough Luck skull makes enemies dodge and go berserk more often. The easiest level to run through is Dawn and this can be done on Heroic difficulty and with friends. Sounds pretty damn easy to me, to be honest.

Let's Get Mythical! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic skull. - 24000 XP
On most days when we have this challenge, we are unable to complete it with the other campaign challenge since the requirements are different. Well, today is not one of those days, quite thankfully. Below, you should have the "Shutdown Slamdown!" challenge. It is asking you to complete the missing Shutdown on Legendary with the Mythic, Tilt, Tough Luck, and Thunderstorm skulls on. This challenge need just Heroic difficulty or higher and the Mythic skull. So, no need to go out of you way here and play an extra game or anything. Just go on and complete "Shutdown Slamdown" and get all these really easy experience points.

The Challenges:
Oh, It's On! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Storm and Tough Luck skulls. - 2750 XP
This is all still running in the same patter as before to the surprise of absolutely no one but with drastically less XP. That is somewhat annoying. I wonder if 343 knows that they are slowly killing Halo with all this crap. Probably not, but they will figure it out eventually, one might hope. The only real difference is that this one can be on Heroic instead of Legendary. None of these need to be done solo and if you want to get this out of the way now, you can run through the level Dawn on the lower difficulty. Check the challenge below to see the various effects of the skulls. In all honesty, just get this done when doing "Reclamation" as it is a lot easier that way.

The Challenges:
Prediction: Pain - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Famine, Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 2500 XP
Well, both of these challenges used to be worth about four-times as much XP. That sucks. So, unlike previous weeks, this challenge is not requiring the same skulls as the mission specific one below. You could simply add on the Famine skull while running through Infinity but I would definitely not recommend it as ammunition is very precious in Halo 4. Instead, as usual, I would recommend that you run through the level Dawn on Heroic difficulty with the indicated skulls. Famine will cause all dropped weapons to have half as much ammunition, the Tough Luck skull will cause all enemies to dodge more often, and the Thunderstorm skull will upgrade all enemies. Adding Tilt and Mythic to that sound like a horrible idea to me for so little credits.
