Halo 4 Campaign Weekly Challenges - 10/7/13

The Challenges:

That's No Moon! - Complete Requiem solo on Legendary difficulty. - 3000 XP
I thought we were doing LASO challenges. They need to make up their damn minds over there so we can get used to playing through these levels on a certain difficulty. Personally, I think this kind of sucks, as we could get more interesting Weekly Campaign Challenges, but alas. Requiem is actually a decently long level and making it harder on yourself is not a great idea. All of this level is just facing your standard Covenant forces so there are no special techniques except to make sure you utilize you armor abilities and just take it slow. Another thing to be mindful of is that you use appropriate weapons at appropriate times. I.e. do not waste a rocket on a single Grunt that you can just go melee. As well, you can die as much as you want, so do not be afraid to fail and restart a section. This isn't LASO. thankfully.

He Is Made Of Iron - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Iron skull. - 4000 XP
Another new challenge to join the group! Hurray! (Please note that is a mock cheer.) Anyway, the Iron skull technically has two different effects. If you are playing a solo game, every time you die, you will start at the beginning of the level. If you are playing co-operatively, you will reset to the last checkpoint every time someone dies. Obviously, with this challenge being easier on co-op, I would recommend that you play through the level Dawn on Heroic difficulty instead of at the same time of the "That's No Moon!" challenge. Requiem is not a short level, and can be difficult in spots, so the only other viable option is to quickly run through the level "Dawn." Due to how much more difficult Requiem is, this is the best option.
