The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
Just as yesterday was Firefight Thursday for challenges, today is Multiplayer Friday. It is unofficial I guess, but it have been like this for a year of more at this point. Well, a hundred kills is always pretty easy to come by and the challenge today will help with a little of this. The "Now I have a Machine Gun" challenge will get you twenty kills, "I'm Rubber, You're Glue" will get you a few kills, and "Triple Thrill" will get you maybe twenty kill. The rest will need to be made up by playing some extra games. You will get about fifteen kills per game but more if you head to a playlist like Grifball.
Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 20 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Automatic weapons in Halo Reach include the AR, the Plasma Rifle, the Plasma Repeater, the Needler, and the Brute Spiker. You will not really get to see the Brute Spike too much in multiplayer Matchmaking so focus on the AR and the Needler. Multi Team has always fared well for me with this challenge since you almost always start out with an AR and everyone is killing each other. Due to trying to get wins, however, you may want to stick with Team Slayer. This will only take a few games to complete, however, so it will likely not help you make a lot of progress on the "Light Fare" challenge.
I'm Rubber, You're Glue - Earn 1 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
Sticky grenades, also called plasma grenades, are not entirely common in multiplayer Matchmaking unless you have the correct gametype. First off, to get a sticky grenade kill, the explosion of the grenade stuck to your opponent needs to be what causes the death, not anything else, even if it is from you. You only need one so this will not be too much work but head for Multi Team if you are having trouble since that will give you a bunch of targets and some easy kills for the "Light Fare" challenge which is asking for a hundred kills in multiplayer Matchmaking.
Triple Thrill - Earn any 3 Sprees in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A spree in multiplayer Matchmaking is typically earned when you score five kills in a row without dying. That would be a Killing Spree. Now, this challenge does not stipulate "Killing Sprees", just sprees which means that weapon and other miscellaneous sprees will count for the challenge. The Living Dead playlist is likely best for this as you can score Killing Sprees, Zombie Killing Sprees, and Shotgun Sprees easily. Grifball may also be an option but your chance of dying and ruining the sprees is a lot higher. Worry about completing "I'm Rubber, You're Glue" and "Now I have a Machine Gun" first since you may score some sprees while working on them.
