Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 7/11/11

The Challenges:

More than a Handful - Kill 25 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1000cR
Twenty-five enemy kills in multiplayer should take you about one to two games to accomplish. Due to the "Throwing Fireballs" challenge, I would suggest you play at least one game in Multi Team. If you do hit twenty-five kills in that one game and get the grenade kills, you will be all set and just need to play some campaign to finish off today's challenges.


Throwing Fireballs - Kill 2 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
Multi Team is your best chance for this and, especially, if you can get a game like Crazy King. You can just toss grenades into the hill and have six or seven grenade kills by the end of the game. Makes all of these challenges easy and helps you make progress on the Grenadier commendation. This can also be accomplished in Team Slayer or Team Doubles or Invasion or whatever other playlist you feel like that has starting Grenades.

The Little Guys - Kill 135 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 1200cR
The best way to get this done is to load up Winter Contingency on Heroic and play through the entire mission. After you have finished that mission you will probably be sitting at seventy or eighty Grunt kills. You can either replay the missions, or go onto ONI: Swordbase to get all the Grunt kills on that level. Do not be afraid to die a few times to get some extra Grunt kills if you have a checkpoint near a bunch of them. If need be, go on to Nightfall and finish off the challenge.


A Solid Outing - Earn at least 13 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1400cR
Thirteen kills in a single game is easily doable in just about any game unless you pick Halo Ball or Rocket Hog Race. But anyway, Multi Team is definitely your best option and you should definitely be able to get this challenge and all the other multiplayer challenge today done in a single game. If you get a chance, choose Crazy King since that is one of the best ways in Matchmaking to earn kills fast.

The Weekly Challenge:

Exodus: LASO - Complete Exodus, Legendary, All Skulls On (LASO) - 15000cR
So it seems that Bungie went and found one of the LASO challenges that basically no one enjoyed and decided to give it to us again. Well, it is not too surprising that we are getting some repeats now. Either way, the guide is located here. A video guide is present here. This one can be easily frustrating at first since you do indeed have to kill everything in some parts, but be patient about it and take your time. Better late than dead, ya know?
