Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 7/6/11

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Fifty enemies is a relatively small number of enemies for any challenge. You will be playing at least one game of SWAT or Snipers for the "You Want This, Don't You?" challenge. That will hopefully net you ten to fifteen kills. For the other kills you can either keep playing or jump into a playlist that has a high kill per minute ratio. Two such playlists would be Multi Team or Grifball. Should only take an extra two or three games to finish the challenge off.

Be Their Huckleberry - Kill 50 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the pistol. - 1000cR
This will be the only game of Firefight you should need to play today. Gruntpocalypse in the Score Attack playlist is your best bet. Just use the pistol and headshot everything until you have the required fifty kills. You can also try Crashsite for this challenge, but I am currently unsure if any of the loadouts come with a pistol. It might just the DMR and the AR. So, to be safe, stick to Gruntpocalypse.

Pod Kettle Black - Kill 10 Elite Drop Pods in The Long Night of Solace. - 1000cR
Load up the mission Long Night of Solace on either Normal or Heroic difficulty. You will want to use Rally Point Alpha. One you are at the point where you need to disable the Corvette's engines, go far below the ship. Aim straight up at it and you will see drop pods coming out around the ships mid-bottom. These pods are very hard to hit and it will take a couple of tries to hit ten. The pods move slowest when they just launch and then they speed up significantly.

You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 10 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1250cR
Basically the easiest challenge of the day, you only need ten kills with a DMR, Pistol, Needle Rifle, or Focus Beam Rifle in a single game. You can perform headshots with all of those weapons so take down the opponents shields and then aim for the head. As well, I would recommend playing in Team SWAT, Team Snipers, or even The Arena if you feel like it. (Player in there last night myself. Had a blast, won all my games, and even scored a perfection.) Do no be afraid to try out new things.
