The Challenges:
Are currently out of commission as is all matchmaking, aka the servers are down.  No clue what is up with them but will update on the issue ASAP.  Hopefully, guides will be up later today.  Please note that this has also, apparently, neutralized the Weekly Challenge.

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, to be honest, I was not sure if we were even going to see these challenges today but, alas, here they are. Now, this is the one challenge not in multiplayer Matchmaking today but will, instead, need you to be in Firefight Matchmaking. A hundred and twenty kills is about what you will get, plus or minus about five kills, in a game of Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack in the Score Attack playlist. Therefore, head for those gametypes but be ready to play a second game if you fall short. For the second game, Crashsite is a great option since you can get the kills you need and then die or let the generator explode to end the game legitimately.


A Great Friend - Earn 30 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3250cR
Assists are all those times when you trying really hard to score a kill and just before it happens, someone swoops in, kills the guy, and you get the stupid medal for failing to kill someone. Well, that is how it always happens for me. Anyway, assists are awarded when you deal forty percent damage to an enemy who someone else kills before those health/shields are recovered. The likelihood of you hitting thirty assists in a single game is infinitesimally small so you will need multiple games for this one. My advice is for you to play in the Multi Team playlist as there are a bunch of people to steal kills from you and to be kills. I would expect thirty assists to take two to three games.

Not as Clumsy or Random... - Earn 5 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
These are my favorite sorts of challenges since, in the right playlists, they are so easy to complete. Now, by precision weapons, they mean the DMR, Sniper Rifle, Covenant Beam Rifle, and the Needle Rifle. Team SWAT and Team Snipers will be your best bet for this challenge as you can only use precision weapons in this playlist, except for the pistol, and all headshots are one shot kills. Five kills should be easy as hell to hit in these circumstances. In fact, you can probably get this in a number of other playlists as long as you can get your hands on a precision weapons. These two playlists are simply the easiest.

Un, Deux, Trois - Win 3 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2900cR
Now, I am encouraging you to play in the Multi Team playlist for the "A Great Friend" challenge, but that is not a good place to score wins as there are about six different teams per game. If you do score wins, Great!, because it makes the next part easier. Three wins should be decently easy to hit, but aim for gametypes that you know and typically play well in. As well, stick to gametypes that only have two teams to greaten your chances of being on the winning one. Finally, try to play with friends or people you know. This will make it easier in games because you will have some idea of how they react in various circumstances and situations. Good luck.
