The Challenges:
Dominator - Win 7 matchmaking Dominion matches. - 2750 XP
So, my guess is that the people at 343i actually really hate us. Overall, with these two challenges, you will need to score ten wins today. Kind of a dick move since these Dominion games will take a while. So, Dominion is a large map gametype consisting of two team attempting to control three bases. The capture and continued control of these bases will score your team points and you want to reach four-hundred to end the game. As well, you can take all three bases and then eliminate the entire team to end the match. Vortex is my favorite map for this gametype as it is the most simplistic and streamlined, as well as allowing for control of all three bases quite easily. Make sure you have a good communicative team that knows when to defend and attack the bases. Seven games will take a while to win so be ready to play at least fourteen games.
Baller - Win 3 matchmaking Oddball matches. - 1500 XP
Well, I guess this is nicer than the "Dominator" challenge, but not by much when you put them together. Oddball is, at least, a quicker gametypes as it is played on a smaller map and it is easier to hold onto the ball as it can be passed (using the throw grenade button). Again, you will need a coordinated team when stepping into this playlist as they need to know how to guard the ball carrier but also, most of all, where to guard the ball carrier. The ball carrier always needs an exit so the other team does not easily retrieve the ball. Three wins should not take too long but, as always, be prepared to play six or more games.
