The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
You have challenges in all the major game modes today; Firefight Matchmaking, Campaign, and, of course, multiplayer Matchmaking. The "Demon" challenge will bring in more than two-hundred kills on its own, the "Cannon Fodder" challenge will bring in about a hundred or so kills, and the "A Solid Outing" challenge will likely get you about fifteen to thirty kills. Well more than the a hundred needed for this one, wouldn't you say?

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2800cR
The easiest way to score Elite kills in Firefight Matchmaking is to have a gametype where you are super powerful and the gametype has a bunch of Elites. Luckily, one such gametype does exist and that gametype is 2X Score Attack in the Score Attack playlist. Now, in the final wave of 2X Score Attack you will fight about twenty or so Elites. This means you will need to games to complete this challenge. Also try for a larger map in the hopes that you get a drop-pod of Elites in case any to make up for any lost kills.

Cannon Fodder - Kill 75 infantry-class foes in the Campaign today. - 2100cR
When these challenges say "infantry-class foes" what they really seem to mean are Grunts. The custom challenge work properly in this regard but not these ones. Now, Grunts can be found on practically every level of the game but it is easiest to just start off with Winter Contingency and work your way through. There are several sections with a crap ton of Grunts so do not be afraid to die and start that section over to score more kills. Might take you into ONI: Swordbase to accomplish.

A Solid Outing - Earn at least 15 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1500cR
This is an extremely easy challenge for one reason, which is the existence of the Grifball gametype. Grifball will allow you to easily pass fifteen kills in a single game as long as the teams are not scoring extremely quickly. This means you will want to play some defense or else the game will be over before you get a chance. Fifteen kills is also easily achievable in Multi Team or Invasion, so pick your poison.
