Halo 4 War Games Daily Challenges - 12/14/12

The Challenges:
The Pistolero - Get 9 kills with a Secondary Weapon in a single match. - 2350 XP
Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Boltshot. You will not be scoring many kills with the Plasma Pistol so do not even worry about it. Your first option for this challenge will be SWAT as you can just use the Magnum and score a decent amount of kills as long as you are on a smaller map like Haven. The Boltshot is best used on a map like Adrift which has a lot more close quarters areas. You will need to spend a game exclusively focusing on these weapons if you plan on completing this challenge. Take the Hill! - Win 3 matchmaking King of the Hill matches. - 1500 XP
So, this is technically a humongous dick move by 343 today. On Monday the Crimson DLC playlist was added. In order to add that, 343 stipulated that the addition required the removal of another playlist which, instead of removing a crappy playlist like Regicide, was King of the Hill. Without a dedicated playlist like all the others, this becomes a much bigger pain in the ass. So, only one playlist even has King of the Hill Gametypes now and that is the Crimson DLC playlist. So, if you do not have the most recent map pack, apparently it is tough shit on completing this challenge. As well, once you are in the playlist, all of your teammates need to vote for King of the Hill. Good luck with that and expect this to take a good portion of the day to complete.
