Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 12/14/12

The Challenges:

Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
Well, you will likely be a little short on reaching seventy-five kills today due to the other challenges being a little short. You have to complete at least four games but that will likely only bring in about fifty to sixty kills. For the remaining kills, just have fun and play the game. Not a lot of kills or game needed in total today so just try to enjoy it.



Cook 'em, Clean 'em! - Kill 15 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking while you're jet-packing. - 1800cR
So, to score a kill while jet-packing, which earns you a specific medal called "Firebird", you need to be actively jet-packing when the kills is scored. Not just in the air and not falling, but actively using the jet-pack. For grenades, using the jet-pack when the opponent is hit, not when the grenade was thrown. Now, regular Team Slayer or Multi Team is likely your best option for this challenge since those playlists tend to have gametypes that allow jet-packs in the loadout selection. Probably take two or three games to complete.

Chaddlesby's Justice - Avenge your teammates' deaths 3 times in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1360cR
To score a "Avenger" medal, you need to kill an enemy who just killed one of your teammates. You need three of these today and you will be playing at least four games for the "Participation Counts" challenge so you do not specifically need to try for it unless you are missing some once you it four games. For me, Grifball has always been the best playlist for getting "Avenger" medals since everyone dies do quick due to the nature of the game.


Participation Counts - Complete 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2400cR
Well, four games today from start to finish and this challenge is all yours. It may even take that long to finish off the "Cook 'em, Clean 'em!" challenge anyway. Now, if you get booted, disconnected, or quit from any game, it will not count towards this challenge so you must play from start to finish. Four is not a whole lot and all the challenges are multiplayer Matchmaking today so just play and have fun.
