Halo 4 War Games Daily Challenges - 12/6/12

The Challenges:
Threading the Needle - Kill 11 Players with a headshot in a single match. - 2650 XP
So, to score headshots in Halo 4, you need a headshot capable weapon, which includes the Designated Marskmans Rifle (DMR), the Battle Rifle (BR). the Magnum Pistol, the Covenant Carbine, the Light Rifle, the Sniper Rifle, the Covenant Beam Rifle, and the Binary Cannon. However, the best playlist for this challenge is SWAT and in there we will only be using the DMR, BR, and the Magnum Pistol. Eleven headshots is extremely doable in a game since these now go to sixty kills. As well, you should be hitting about fifteen or so kills per game and this is definitely under that. May take a game or two to get the hang of and pull this challenge in.

Rolling Thunder - Earn 7 Killing Spree medals. - 1600 XP
Bah, more Killing Spree stuff. Now, on the bright side, these do not need to be done in a single game, so I cannot complain too much. A Killing Spree in Halo 4 is rewarded when you score five kill in a game without dying in between them. You need seven of these over the day. One key to scoring a Killing Spree is to try and keep at range. If you can kill them before they can find you, hopefully you will last a bit longer and have a chance to hit five kills. Heavy Vehicles, like the Wraith or Scorpion Tanks are also great on gametypes like Dominion as you can just spam shots into enemy bases to score kills. Big Team Infinity Slayer has the same basic strategy as Dominion but you will not have bases to shoot into. Remember, just need seven today.
