The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cRThe Challenges:
Thanks to the "Demon" challenge just below this one, you will have no problem completing this one asking for a hundred and twenty enemy kills in Firefight matchmaking. In fact, that is just a single game in the Score Attack playlist so, even if you are not going to complete the "Demon" challenge, you can complete this one with a single game.
Demon - Kill 50 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
I wish this was forty Elite kills, as it would make everything so much easier. Let me explain why. The best gametype in which to get Elite kills is 2X Score Attack as the final wave is always about twenty or so Elites. In two games, that will get you to forty kills. Unfortunately, even if you get drop-pods you are still only at about forty-eight kills. So, this challenge will take three games to complete. Or you could brave the standard Firefight playlist, hope everyone quits, and hope you get a lot of Elites before time runs out. The choice is yours.
Put Your Quarter Up - Complete 10 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2900cR
So, unlike Halo 4, to complete a game in Reach you need to be in it from start to finish, which is infinitely better than join-session-in-progress crap that is Halo 4's matchmaking. If you get booted, disconnected, or quit from the game, it will not count towards this challenge. Team SWAT, Living Dead, and Grifball are the fastest playlists but can drag on. And remember, you do not need to win these games, just complete them.
Linked Up with Bungie.net - Link your gamertag with Bungie.net and play a game in Halo: Reach Matchmaking. - 1cR
Ahh, this challenge again. You know, you have to assume at this point that 343 honestly does not know how to take challenges out of the Reach circulation or at least take their chances of appearing down to zero. Well, regardless, if you were on Bungie.net with a connected gamertag before the switch, then you can complete this challenge by playing a single game. Otherwise, you are shit out of luck. Hopefully, sometime later today Bungie will change this challenge for another one.
The Weekly Challenge:
Multiplicative - Earn 200 Multikills in multiplayer Matchmaking this week. - 25000cR
So, a multikill is earned when you score multiple kills within four seconds of each other. You can do this with up to ten kills in a row for a Killionaire (nine medals in total). After ten kills, wait for seconds of the counter to restart. Now, two-hundred this week means that you need about thirty a day (just under that, actually at 29, but let's stick to thirty). The easiest playlist in which to get multikills is Grifball. Grifball give you a Gravity Hammer and an Energy Sword and, once you have the timing down, you can easily rack up the kills. You can also spawn camp, but I strongly suggest against this as it is an utter douche move. In Grifball you can get at least fifteen multikills a game so two games a day and you are all set. In fact, you can play a few more and get this challenge done early.
