Halo 4 War Games Weekly and Daily Challenge - 12/3/12

The Challenges:

Spartan Master Killer - Kill 15 Players in a single War Games match. - 2950 XP
These challenges today are pretty simple and should take very little time to complete. This first challenge, asking you to score fifteen kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, You need a playlist with a lot of player and no kill limit. That pretty much means Dominion. I would head for the larger vehicles, like Scorpion and Wraith Tanks. Stay near bases to play defense and you should have no trouble racking up the kills. This is also doable in most other slayer-based playlists, just easier in Dominion.

Deadeye - Kill 20 Players with a headshot. - 1500 XP
Team SWAT is likely the best answer for this challenge. To score a headshot you need a headshot capable weapon which includes the DMR, BR, Magnum Pistol, Covenant Carbine, Light Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Beam Rifle, and the Binary Cannon. Team SWAT will automatically equip you with the DMR or BR and a Magnum. These twenty kills do not need to be in a single game so you can easily spread this out over two games. This also means that SWAT is not a necessity and if you normally score headshots in your games, just continue playing how you normally do to finish off this challenge.

The Weekly Challenges:
Up Close And Personal - Earn 12 CQC Medals in a single match. - 6250 XP
So this one will actually be challenging. And not just stupid challenging like, "I honestly don't have enough time to do that" but this will require planning and skill. Now, first off, CQC medals in Halo 4 are the Melee, Beat Down, and Bulltrue medals. Assassinations do not count as close quarters combat medals (which makes no sense to me). An objective gametype will serve you best her and you will also need a smaller map on which to player. Something like Capture the Flag would be great, but those games will almost always be on Ragnarok, which is too big. Try Oddball and you can probably get a map like Haven (which is still big but there are not really any small map in Halo 4). From there, just start meleeing the hell out of everything. If you end up behind an enemy, remember to just tap the melee button to do a Beat Down instead of an Assassination. You might also try Dominion and hid in the bases while playing defense.

The Kingslayer - Earn 50 Regicides. - 4100 XP
So, this week the new playlist in the rotation is Team Regicide. Whoop-de-fucking-doo. They are so intent on shoving this gametype down our throats and seem to be trying to insure that the playlist stays for a week. Regardless, to score a Regicide you need to kill the king. The King will always be indicated on screen to this will help some. Now, in all honesty, over this week, this challenge will probably be easier to do in the standard Regicide playlist which is Free-for-all. In Team you will have four players competing for a single kill, so your chances go down a bit. You can score seven or eight a game in Free-for-all Regicide so you can get this done in about eight games.
