Halo 4 Campaign Weekly Challenges - 12/24/12

The Challenges: 
Grenade Happy! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Cloud, Catch and Tough Luck skulls. - 2500 XP
Well, another week an another challenge asking you to complete a level of Halo 4 solo Now we are up to three skulls on a mission but these are pretty simple skulls that will not affect your playthrough too much. The Cloud Skull will disable your radar, the Catch Skull will cause enemies to throw more grenades, and the Tough Luck Skull will cause enemies to dodge, evade, and go berserk more often. As usual, this is easiest to complete on the introductory level, Dawn, since it has no Prometheans and the Covenant presence is pretty light. As well, you can also load up the mission Shutdown and skip through most of the level via this technique. However, you will still need to fight a bunch of Elites and Hunters if you follow this method, so be warned.

Still Alone In the Dark - Complete Midnight solo on Legendary difficulty. - 4750 XP
Well, another week an another challenge asking you to complete a level of Halo 4 solo The majority of this mission is actually pretty simple. Flying through is pretty easy, just treat it like StarFox, to be honest, minus the barrel roll. Once you land, there will constantly be a presence of Promethean Knights for you to fight but, when possible, try to run past them to the various portals. Once you enter the final area where the Didact is, this is where it becomes an absolute pain. Make sure that, whenever possible, you have either an Incinerator Cannon, Binary Cannon, or a Scattershot when approaching the top of the three various pillars around the Didact. Hopefully, you complete this and, unless you already have it, the Lone Wolf Legend Challenge will be yours along with this challenge and the XP.
