The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
You should have no trouble completing this challenge today thanks to the other Daily Challenges and the Weekly Challenge. These kills can be gained in any game mode in Reach and you will be getting seventy five or more from the multiplayer Matchmaking challenges "Gunslinger" and "Neuroscience" as well as at least a hundred and twenty-five kills from the campaign challenge "The Little Guys." As I said, this one is completely taken care of by the other challenges so pay it no mind.
Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
This is not a whole lot of kills for multiplayer Matchmaking in a single day so no need to worry about running out of time. Now, I would complete the "Neuroscience" challenge first, so you do not get redundant kills afterwards, and then move onto whatever playlists you enjoy to round out the other kills. Most likely, this is the last day you will be playing Reach for a while so try and enjoy it. Now, Grifball is the best playlist for just getting straight kills (and multikills) but Invasion, Big Team Battle, and Multi Team are also good. This all boils down to personal preference.
The Little Guys - Kill 125 Grunts in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 2000cR
Grunts are the easiest enemies in Reach and in Halo in general so scoring a bunch of kills with them will not be hard at all. Kind of wish this was in Firefight, but what can you do. If you are going for the Weekly Challenge today, you should be able to put a decent dent into this challenge but how many you might score is completely unknown. If you are not doing the Weekly Challenge today, then I would start at Winter Contingency and work your way through until you hit a hundred and twenty-five. Play on Heroic and make sure that you at least damage all the Grunts so if an AI Teammate does end up killing it, you still get credit. Also, do not be afraid to die and replay sections with a lot of Grunts, the counter does not reset due to that.
Neuroscience - Kill 10 enemies with headshots in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
So, to score headshots in Reach you need a headshot capable weapon. These weapons include the DMR, Needle Rifle, Magnum Pistol, Sniper Rifle, and the Covenant Focus Beam. The best playlists in which to get these weapons are Team SWAT and Team Snipers. Team SWAT has DMRs and Pistols and Team Snipers has, obviously, the Sniper Rifle. Both gametypes have one-shot, headshot kills with the supplied weapons so whichever one you prefer is completely on you. Ten kills is easily doable in a single game, especially with these gametypes, as you should be hitting about twelve to fifteen kills per game, if not more. Should take a single game to complete.
The Weekly Challenge:
Long Night of Solace: LASO - Complete Long Night of Solace, Legendary, All Skulls On (LASO). - 14000cR

Any tips on getting past the two elites after the Pelican cut scene, I'm stuck there.
ReplyDeleteNevermind, got two lucky assassinations. The engine room sucks but I'll keep trying to sneak past all the elites.
