Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 3/10/13

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 250 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Well, this challenge will hopefully get taken care of by the other challenges today, but it is not a sure bet at all. First off, the "J.H. Death Machine" challenge will be the one generating pretty much all of your kills. However, even at two games, whether or not the kills will hit two-hundred and fifty is doubtful. More likely you will need to play a third came to cover the difference. "Killagruntjaro!" will not add any extra kills since it will get taken care of while doing "J.H. Death Machine" and "You Want This, Don't You?" will add nothing as it is for multiplayer Matchmaking.

Killagruntjaro! - Earn 25 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 3000cR
A multikill is earned in Firefight Matchmaking when you score multiple kills within about a second of each other up to ten kills, which would earn you nine multikills. This means that you will need to wait for enemies to cluster and use your grenades or Grenade Launcher. Quickly follow up with aimed headshots to add to the multikills. This is actually quite easy to get done in a single game if you really focus on the Grunts at the start. Should get it while working on the "J.H. Death Machine" challenge. No extra games will be needed for this challenge.

J.H. Death Machine - Kill 70 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the Grenade Launcher. - 2250cR
So, this challenge will actually be challenging today. I know, shocking, isn't it? Arcadefight if your best option for this challenge as it features the Grenade Launcher as one of the loadout option. This will likely take at least two games to complete, as people will be stealing your kills a lot. Remember that the grenades have some bounce to them unless you directly shoot them into an enemy. Grunts will be the easiest kills for you to score so try and get them while they spawn.


You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 14 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
This is actually not the hardest challenge today, though hitting fourteen kills in a single game with precision weapons (i.e. DMR, Sniper Rifle) will likely be a challenge for many. What you will want to do is to head for either Team SWAT or Team Snipers. I would pick Team SWAT as it will allow you to vote for some objective gametypes in Matchmaking. Objective games will allow you to get well more kills than slayer games due to the lack of a kill limit but it can sometimes be difficult to get precision weapons. Now, this will likely take a few tries, but keep at it. You need to play fifteen games anyway.
