The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, a hundred and eighty kills will probably not take any extra work today thanks to the other challenges. All in all, the "That Pink Mist" challenge will take care of a lot of these kills and the rest will likely be taken care of by the "Demon" challenge if this one is not finished before then. Just look at a challenge like this as we normally do, which is that it is just a bunch of extra free credits thrown on top of everything else that you have gotten today for the other various challenges.
Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2800cR
Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack Playlist. Aim for 2X Score Attack since the final wave will always be twenty or so Elites. Do your best to make sure that none of them kill themselves and you will have this done in two easy games. Now, I would suggest completing this challenge last as "That Pink Mist" will likely get you a bunch of Elites kills as well. Hopefully that means less games of 2X Score Attack after "That Pink Mist" is completed.
Killagruntjaro! - Earn 35 multikills in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 1750cR
A multikill is earned in Firefight Matchmaking when you score multiple kills within about a second of each other up to ten kills, which would earn you nine multikills. This means that you will need to wait for enemies to cluster and use your grenades. Quickly follow up with aimed headshots to add to the multikills. This is actually quite easy to get done in a single game if you really focus on the Grunts at the start. Should get it while working on the "Demon" or the "That Pink Mist" challenge.
That Pink Mist - Kill 70 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
So this will definitely be the hardest challenge of the day. A Supercombine occurs when you stick enough enemies with needles that the resulting explosion kills them. It has to be the explosion that kills them, not the final needs that trigger the explosion, which is what happens with all grunts unless the Mythic Skull is on. Now, the Firefight playlist is your best bet for this challenge and you will want the gametype Arcadefight NEP as it will allow you to choose a loadout with an FRG and a Needler. These weapons will have unlimited ammunition. Now, this might take two games because you will have three other players to compete with, but expect the kills to start going up once the second round starts as the Mythic Skull will then be on.
