The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2000cR
Well, in all honesty, I cannot say whether this challenge will be taken care of by the other challenged today. I completely depends on what gametypes you go for. If you go mostly for objective or large team gametypes, you will get this taken care of. Otherwise, you will need to play some extra games afterwards. Now, you should be scoring about twelve or so kills per game on average. That means plan on playing about seven games to complete this challenge.
A Great Friend - Earn 30 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3250cR
Oh, assists. This is one of the more aggravating challenges because you basically have to fail at killing your opponents, but it is refreshing to see a different type of challenge in here. Dealing an opponent forty percent damage and then having someone else take the kill will net you an assist. Now, the best gametype for assists, without a doubt, is the Multi Team gametype since you have a bunch of targets and a bunch of people to steal those targets from you. Do not expect to get thirty in a single game, but five to ten is not uncommon; it just depends on how hard you try for the assists. Expect this to take three to six games to complete.
Better, Closer, Warmer - Earn at least 9 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2343cR
To be extremely honest, you should have no trouble with this challenge. This score total is well below what you should be hitting on average in even a slayer match. However, if today is proving difficult for you for scoring kills, head to an objective gametype where you have more time or just head to Grifball. Grifball makes everything easier as it will allow you to score almost thirty kills per game and no one has anywhere to hide as well as spawning really fast.
Home Field Advantage - Win 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1600cR
Four wins is not really all that challenging and this challenge needs little explanation. All the others today are multiplayer Matchmaking challenge so go ahead and complete those challenges first as you can possibly get wins while completing them. Afterwards, stick to gametypes with no more than two teams, in a playlist you are good at, and with people you know on your team. This can take up two four games to complete. Grifball is one of the faster gametypes, along with Team SWAT. Really depends upon personal preference here.
