Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 3/13/13

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3800cR
Well, today this challenge will be of very little worry to us thanks to all the other bountiful challenges. You need two-hundred and fifty kills overall today, from any mode, and this is taken care of for you. "Be Their Huckleberry" will probably bring in about a hundred and twenty kills, "There Are Many Like..." will bring in over two-hundred kills, and "Single Wield" will bring in a decent twenty-five or so kills. Regardless, that is more than enough kills to cover this challenge, wouldn't you agree?

Be Their Huckleberry - Kill 50 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the pistol. - 2500cR
This challenge will be very easy and simple to complete as long as you have the right playlist and gametypes. You will want to jump into Score Attack and play Gruntpocalypse. This gametype is all Grunts, which you can score easy headshots on, but, more importantly, it gives you a Magnum Pistol. Be wary of the Ultra Grunts which will take two headshots to slay, however. Just headshot fifty Grunts with it and you are all set as this is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today.

There Are Many Like... - Kill 200 enemies with precision weapons in the Campaign today. - 3000cR
Precision weapons in Reach include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the Sniper Rifle, the Needle Rifle, and the Focus Beam Rifle. The easiest and quickest access to these is the start of ONI: Swordbase where your are immediately equipped with a DMR. Playing through the level on Heroic will allow you to not have all your kills stolen but still have a not too difficult time getting the kills Remember that as long as you damage an enemy, AI teammates taking the kills will still count as yours. Two hundred kills will take a while so expect to have to play through a few levels, probably past Nightfall into Tip of the Spear, to complete this challenge.

Single Wield - Earn 20 kills with small arms weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Small arms weapons in Reach include the Magnum Pistol, the Needler, the Plasma Pistol, and the Brute Spiker (which is damn near impossible to find in multiplayer Matchmaking). Now, if you venture into Team SWAT you can easily score headshots with the Magnum, especially if you can score the SWAT Magnums gametype. Otherwise, you will want to stick to smaller areas so you do not get DMR'd in the head. Should take one to two games to complete if you have a bad game. That is, of course, assuming that you score about ten to fifteen kills a game and do not dip below that number.
