Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 3/6/13

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
Well, you will have not need to go out of you way for this challenge, much less worry about it, today. You can pick whichever one will take care of it but, in truth, it is "Who's the Big Winner?" that has the honors. "Nature vs. Nurture" will get you practically nothing and you can complete "On the Sixth Respawn..." without hitting a hundred kills. "Who's the Big Winner?" will definitely gain you at least a hundred kills. You should be averaging at least twelve or so kills a game and that brings you well over a hundred, doesn't it?

On the Sixth Respawn... - Complete a Firefight Matchmaking game with fewer than 5 deaths. - 2000cR
This is actually a really easy challenge no matter what gametype you do this in. Obviously, anything in the standard Firefight playlist will be harder since you need to survive through an entire set as opposed to a single round in the Score Attack playlist. You can easily get this completed while working on the other challenges, however, so there is no need to actually worry about this. Just pick larger maps to put more distance between you and the Covenant forces. This is the only Firefight Matchmaking game today so you will need to go out of your way to complete it.

Nature vs. Nurture - Kill 15 Moa in Winter Contingency on Normal or harder. - 4000cR
This challenge is extremely easy as Moa do not fight back, but only run away. Now, if you load up Winter Contingency and start at the beginning, you can see two Moa. If you shoot these two, you can then hit "Reload Checkpoint" on the start menu and just keep redoing that until you hit the fifteen kills you need. It is very redundant, but it works. If you play through the entire mission, the likelihood of finding fifteen Moa is very, very slim. Note that if you leave campaign, the counter will reset so do it all at once.

Who's the Big Winner? - Win 15 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Oh, look! It is the same challenge that we had on Monday. And, guess what? It is still a complete dick move though less of one than before. Now everyone is in a snow storm right now so I am not sure what 343i is expecting in terms of results here. Well, scoring wins will all be about playing to your strengths and sticking to gametypes with only two teams of no more than five players. If you are really good at Slayer, than stick to Slayer. If objective gametypes are your thing, play those. There is no set strategy for scoring a win in Halo as it is highly dependent on your team and your competition. Just try to have fun and take breaks, a lot of breaks.
