Halo 4 Terminal Locations Guide

Halo 4, like Halo 3 and the Anniversary Edition of Halo: CE has terminals for you to find during the campaign. Finding one terminal will unlock the "Contact the Domain" achievement for you worth 10 Gamerscore. Finding all the Terminal will unlock the "Terminus" achievement for 50 Gamerscore. Here is a guide to find all of them. Please not, there is no Terminal on the first level, Dawn.

 
1. Requiem Terminal
This terminal is just about near the end of the level and is most easily accessible from Rally Point Bravo. Cortana will have you proceed up a clear ramp and onto a lift. However, underneath that ramp is the first terminal. Hold "X" to activate the terminal and unlock the "Contact the Domain" achievement.

 
2. Forerunner Terminal
This terminal is easiest to access from Rally Point Bravo. You will immediately come out into a large clearing with jagged rocks and a circle Forerunner section in the middle. At the opposite end of the area, under a Forerunner platform is the next terminal. If you are leaving this area to progress forward, the terminal is too the left.



3. Infinity Terminal
You will eventually progress through this level and meet up with Commander Lasky. After you see that cutscene, you will be on a ramp in a hallway with two other Spartans. Just turn around and the terminal will be right there behind you. This is directly accessible from Rally Point Bravo as it starts you right after the cutscene.


4. Reclaimer Terminal
After progressing through most of this level you will have a cutscene after Cortana disappears. After this cutscene, you will need to clear a room full of Prometheans and then proceed through a some doorways. After you get through the first one, turn to the right to see the terminal. Rally Point Bravo is the closest to this terminal, though it is not all that close.


5. Shutdown Terminal
After you have gone to the two initial towers on this level, Cortana will lead you to a third one which houses the controls for the spire. On the initial level of this structure, you will come to four small towers all connected by light bridges, making a diamond. To the left of this group is another small tower connected by a light bridge. At the rear of this tower is the terminal. This is most easily accessible from Rally Point Delta.


6. Composer Terminal
The terminal for this level is, actually, right next to the actual Composer. Now, once you reach the large open area with a sort of Lunar landscape, to the right of the Composer you can find a tunnel. Going into that tunnel and, about halfway in, you will find the Terminal. This terminal is located right after Rally Point Bravo.


7. Midnight Terminal
This is the final Terminal of Halo 4 and also one of the easiest. After you complete the flying portion of this level, and are on solid ground, you will progress through a series of large rooms, slaying Prometheans along the way. Once you reach the third room, the terminal is pretty much smack dab in the middle surrounded by some other Forerunner architecture. This terminal is most easily reached from Rally Point Bravo.
