Halo 4 War Games Daily Challenges - 11/7/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
The Pistolero - Get 9 kills with a Secondary Weapon in a single match. - 2350 XP
Every loadout you have will have a sidearm that, for starters, will be the Magnum. Now, this is a pretty decent back-up weapon in Halo 4, not quite as good as it was in Halo CE, but better than all the other Halos. If you have high enough SR (Spartan Rank), you can get the Boltshot which is great over short range. Free-for-all gametypes like Regicide (I really hate that gametype now) and Flood are probably best for that. You just need to actively only use your Secondary Weapon. Capture the Flag and King of the Hill may also be good as they will allow you to have a longer game and score more kills, helping those who are having trouble hitting nine. May take a few games to complete, so work on "Raise the Flag" while you do it.

Raise the Flag - Win 2 matchmaking Capture the Flag matches. - 1250 XP
Well, they seem to be taking us through each playlist one by one as yesterday was Regicide, today is CTF, and I'm guessing tomorrow will be Dominion or something. Now, CTF is a ten player games type, which means five players per team. Get a teams of friends who know the point of CTF (which is not to just get kills) and play with them. You only need to kills and you will likely be playing a bunch today any (the game did just come out). In terms of what maps to go for, Ragnarok is a Valhalla so vehicles are the focus, and Abandon, Complex, Solace, and Adrift are smaller maps focused on bipedal travel. Pick your poison and be ready to play four or more games for this one.

  1. I agree on hating Regicide. I won 1 game of it yesterday and never could win another. Incredibly frustrating.

    1. People just do not seem to get that the point is to kill the king. Definitely infuriating.
