Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 11/24/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
So a standard game of Firefight Matchmaking, at least in the Score Attack playlist, will earn you about a hundred and twenty kills. That somewhat sucks for this challenge as the random few enemies will accidentally kills themselves. So play a single game of 2X Score Attack on a map like Beachhead or Courtyard where you can hopefully get a drop-pod with a few extra enemies. Otherwise, a second game will be in your future.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 3 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
Thankfully, this and "Double Double" can be done in the same match as they can both be done quite easily in Grifball. Close quarters combat kills in Reach are earned with Hammers, Swords, Shotguns, Melees, and Assassinations. Grifball allows you to do all of these, sparing Shotguns, and to do so quite easily. Should take a single game to complete.

Double Double - Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
If you have already read the entry for "Up Close and Personal" you will know that this will be done in Grifball. The reason for this is that Grifball is an extremely good playlist for multikills as well as close quarters kills. Thanks to the one-hit kill nature of the hammer, you can score tons of multikills in Grifball. You need to pace out the enemies, however, because if they come too quickly, they will get you before the Double Kill is earned.

Harder than Some - Complete a Campaign mission on Heroic with Thunderstorm, Famine, and Tilt on. - 5000cR
As usual, the best method for completing this challenge is to speedrun through the level Nightfall, a guide to doing which can be found right here. Now, the Thunderstorm Skull will upgrade all enemies, the Famine Skull will leave less ammunition on weapons on the ground, and the Tilt skull will modify the strengths and weaknesses of enemies. None of those will really effect a speedrun of Nightfall, however, since you will be ignoring all those enemies.
