Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 11/7/12

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
So you have to play at least two games, but maybe four, for the "Home Field Advantage" challenge but that will not likely get you to seventy-five kills. Expect to play a few extra games unless you are running through gametypes like Grifball going for wins. Then you may have the kills done before the wins. You should hit about fifteen kills per game so expect this to take about five or so games to complete.

The T.G. Opposition - Kill 40 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the Shotgun. - 2000cR
To get the Shotgun in Firefight Matchmaking, you will need to jump into the standard four-player Firefight playlist and choose Arcadefight. One of the loadouts has a shotgun and you will need to use it exclusively. Assuming you have a full game of four players, forty shotgun kills will be a little trying so also try for a smaller map to make it easier on yourself. May take two games to hit forty.

Be Vigilant - Score 100,000 points in any Campaign mission without dying. - 5000cR
They are really touting campaign scoring for Reach now, which is a little weird as Halo 4 does not have it. Either way, set the difficulty to Heroic, turn on the Tough Luck, Catch, Thunderstorm, Iron, and Famine skulls and then load up New Alexandria. Just go around shooting Banshees and Phantoms until you reach the needed points. (Method can be seen here.) Any skulls not turned on will make the points less as well as if you do a lower difficulty. You can try Legendary if you are extremely courageous.

Home Field Advantage - Win 2 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2100cR
Well, easy enough challenge today to simply win two games. You will be going for seventy-five kills today with the "Gunslinger" challenge, but get the wins first. Stick to gametypes with no more than two teams, in a playlist you are good at, and with people you know on your team. This can take up two four games to complete. Grifball is one of the faster gametypes, along with Team SWAT.

  1. You Should start doing Halo 4 challenges. Not only are there more active players in 4 now, but with the total number of challenges 4 presents it will give you more chances to write.
