The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
Typically, when we have challenges like this one, we have another multiplayer Matchmaking challenge that helps us accomplish it and overshadows it. Not today, however. The only other challenge is "Participation Counts" which has you just completing three games. Now, you might be able to get all these kill in four games or less in Grifball if the teams are extremely even for all of you games, but just try to have fun and score some kills.
Survivor - Earn 7 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is earned when you score ten kills in a row without dying. You can get up to five sprees, just short of this challenge, by scoring fifty kills without dying. You should be scoring these quite easily so this challenge should take little time to complete. As well, this challenge does not stipulate just Killing Sprees so weapon and other miscellaneous sprees will also count. You will need to go out of your way for this challenge as it is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today.
Golden Opportunity - Find and kill the Gold Ranger-class Elite in any Campaign mission on Heroic or harder. - 5343cR
For those who are unfamiliar, these are typically referred to as BoBs (Born-on-Boards, which is a Marathon reference). There is one on basically every mission as long as you are on Heroic or Legendary but the easiest one to get is on ONI: Swordbase. Load up Rally Point Bravo and then rush forward to where you enter the base. Look to the left and you will see a dual-wielding Elite which is a BoB. If it does not appear continue on until you reach the multiplayer shotgun spawn for the Swordbase map. There should be one there. However, there may be none there at all. It happens. Just reload if it does.
Participation Counts - Complete 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2400 cR
To complete a game in multiplayer Matchmaking in Halo Reach, you need to play from start to finish, unlike Halo 4. If you get booted, quit, or disconnect from the game, it will not count for you. "More than a Handful" will definitely get you at least four games played so there is no real reason to go out of your way for this challenge. As stated above, my advice would be to go to the Grifball playlist.
