Halo 4 War Games Daily Challenges - 1/20/13

The Challenges:
Rolling Thunder - Earn 7 Killing Spree medals. - 1600 XP
A Killing Spree in War Games is earned when you score five kills in a row. As this challenge stipulates "Killing Spree medals" other sprees such as weapon and miscellaneous sprees will not count. Now, you do not need seven in a single game, just overall but even that can be a bit of a task with the current state of War Games Matchmaking. You really do not have a choice in what gametypes to go for this in thanks to the "Baller" challenge and the Weekly "Raise the Flag" challenge. Play through what you can with those and you will likely hit seven sprees before you finish. Good luck to you, though, as you will likely need it.

Baller - Win 9 matchmaking Oddball matches. - 2750 XP
Well, I hope you have already finished off the "Raise the Flag" Weekly challenge because they seem intent on not allowing you any help in finishing that one. Especially since we had this same challenge on Wednesday. You will be playing a lot of games today. Oddball is, at least, a quicker gametypes as it is played on a smaller map and it is easier to hold onto the ball as it can be passed (using the throw grenade button). Again, you will need a coordinated team when stepping into this playlist as they need to know how to guard the ball carrier but also, most of all, where to guard the ball carrier. The ball carrier always needs an exit so the other team does not easily retrieve the ball. Remember, be prepared to play well more than nine games.
