The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
Well, this challenge should not be too challenging today a hundred kills will be completely covered by the other challenges today. The "Flat Tire" challenge will get you likely three hundred to four hundred kills, the "Eyes in the Sky" will get you about twenty to thirty, and "You Want This, Don't You?" will get you about fifteen or so kills. So, regardless, this challenge is taken care of and is basically free credits.
Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
Haven't seen this challenge in a few weeks, I think, but at least these are more varied than the Halo 4 challenges. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills. Now, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take three to four games to complete.
Eyes in the Sky - Kill 20 enemies with the Designator in ONI on Heroic. - 2500cR
For this challenge your best option is to load up ONI: Swordbase from Rally Point Bravo and get to the gate as fast as you can. In the gateway, to your right, will be the Target Designator. About fifteen or so enemies will come down the ramp in front of you so just tag them and let it rip. Try to tag an enemy instead of a spot on the ground so it is more accurate. To get to twenty kills you will likely need to reload the current checkpoint and do it again.
You Want This, Don't You? - Earn 10 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2500cR
Precision weapons in Reach include the DMR, Sniper Rifle, the Needle Rifle, and the Covenant Focus Rifle. Ten kills in a single game is not some great feat that will take all day to obtain, but will likely take a single attempt to finish off. Team SWAT and Team Snipers will both give you precision weapons (DMR and Sniper Rifle, respectively) and one-shot, head-shot kills. Should take one game so get to it.
