Gears of War: Judgment Cog Tag Locations - Part VI: The Courthouse

Gears of War: Judgment is definitely bucking some trends of previous Gears games, like getting rid of D-pad weapon selection, but some things have not changed. All games have some form of collectibles now and Cog Tags are the ones for this installment. No need to worry about other collectibles, just the Tags of your fellow fallen Cogs. There are forty eight in total but we will do these section by section. Generally, you will see a red Cog Omen symbol near each tag, but not always right next to it. Expect one tag per chapter. Getting ten COG Tags will get you the "Never Forgotten" achievement, twenty-five COG Tags will get you the "Veteran Remembrance" achievement and finding all of them will score you the "Respect for the Fallen" achievement.

Part VI: The Courthouse:

Chapter 1: Grand Courtroom - This COG Tag rests in the main courtroom once you start. Around the center of the room are raised platforms. The one with the broken pillar lying near it has the Omen symbol on it and the Tag is atop it.

Chapter 2: Halls of Judgment - As you move through this level, Locust will eventually bust into the Courthouse from an outside terrace. Once that happens and the enemies are eliminated, go out into the exterior terrace and you will see the COG Tag on the far left side, next to a pillar.

Chapter 3: Terrace - Near the end of this level, you will come to the door through which you exit. Instead of going though you will see the Omen to the left but the COG Tag is in the back right corner.

Chapter 4: North Entrance - You will come to a large area with two set of stairs. Across from the side you enter the room on, you will see the Omen just above the bottom of the stairs. The Tag is at the top of the stairs and down to the left.

Chapter 5: Main Entrance - Like usual with all of these sections, you will come into a main room and down a large staircase with sand-bag barricades at the bottom. To the right, you will see the Omen on a pillar near a doorway.

Chapter 6: Great Staircase - Now that you are finally outside of the damn courthouse, you just need to make it down the courthouse steps. Once you are near the objective for the Raven, you can see an area just past it. Of course, the COG Tag is in this area, up the stairs and to the left.

Chapter 7: Plaza For The Tyran Dead - This is actually a boss battle so it is a somewhat dickish place to put a COG Tag, but not really abnormal. Once you start, look for the large flat columns with names on them and you should see two sets of three. Head to the left one and the Tag is to the left of the Omen.
