The Challenges:
Up Close And Personal - Earn 8 CQC Medals in a single match. - 1400 XP
CQC, or close quarters combat, medals in Halo 4 are very limited and only include the Melee, Bulltrue, and Beatdown medals. You would think that Grifball would be a great playlist for this challenge but Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer kills do not yield any CQC medals, which is somewhat idiotic. However, if you get control of the ball, you can easily score some Bulltrue and Melee medals. I was able to earn six CQC medals in a single game (as well as a bunch of kills and multikills) which is pretty close to having this challenge completed. As you might think, Grifball in Halo 4 will require some transition from Reach, but not much. Timing is about the same, so have fun. You can also try gametypes like Oddball and such to score these medals with some ease. Complete "That's Just Perfect" first.

The Challenges:
Quick On The Trigger - Earn 5 Combat Skill Medals in a single match. - 1300 XP
Combat skill medals, for those who do not already know of them, include the Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper Medals. Granted, a lot of these are based off of luck, a few can be farmed, namely the Reload This and Headcase medals, which you will be best off trying for with a Precision Weapons (i.e. DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Covenant Carbine). Now, you need to score four in a single match but this is not really a difficult challenge if you are in a long match with a lot of players. Dominion would be my preferred gametype, though you can also have great success with Capture the Flag as those games typically go the entire time.

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
The hope is that this challenge is taken care of by the others today but only if you do the Weekly Challenge today. If you do not do the Weekly Challenge, then you will probably need to play some extra games to finish this challenge off. The "Showtime" challenge will likely bring in about twelve or so kills, "Stronger, Harder" may only bring in twenty or so kills, and "Neuroscience" will probably bring in about twenty or so kills. The Weekly Challenge can bring in about two-hundred or so kills. If you are not going for the Weekly Challenge today, then play two games of Firefight Matchmaking in the Score Attack playlist to finish this challenge off.
Showtime - Earn 5 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1250cR
An assist is earned when you deal forty percent damage to an enemy who is killed by someone else. Typically, you would think that this person stole your kill. Now, Multi Team has always been a good place to score assists since there are so many targets and so many people to steal the kills from you. If Multi Team is not your cup of tea than I would recommend heading to Team Objective or just FFA or Team Slayer. The choice is yours so figure out what works best for you. It will likely take a game or two but you should have no problem hitting the five assists.

The Challenges:
Oh, It's On! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Storm and Tough Luck skulls. - 3750 XP
Well, another week and another set of Campaign weekly challenges. This week, the focus is on Reclaimer, but not for this challenge. I would definitely recommend doing this challenge at the same time as " Infinity And Beyond." due to the challenges being so similar. For this challenge, you need to turn on the Mythic skull, which doubles all enemy health, the Thunderstorm skull, which upgrades all enemies, and the Tough Luck Skull, which causes all enemies to dodge and go berserk more often. Just complete "Infinity And Beyond" and it will take care of this one for you. You don't really have a choice in the matter.

The Challenges:
Rolling Thunder - Earn 10 Killing Spree medals. - 2000 XP
A Killing Spree in War Games is earned when you score five kills in a row. As this challenge stipulates "Killing Spree medals" other sprees such as weapon and miscellaneous sprees will not count. Now, you do not need ten in a single game, as that would be practically impossible, just overall but even that can be a bit of a task with the current state of War Games Matchmaking. You will undoubtedly be playing games in the Team Objective playlist thanks to "Take The Hill!" challenge and this is good because objective gametypes are typically the best for getting killing sprees. Complete "Take The Hill!" first and then move onto this one as you may get a spree or two while working on it.
Take The Hill! - Win 3 matchmaking King of the Hill matches. - 1000 XP
Well, three wins is not too bad if you have a good team, at least. King of the Hill is a gametype in which you need to hold a position which moves around the map. The first team to reach, I believe, a hundred and fifty seconds wins the game. KoTH in Halo 4 is actually a lot easier since they will tell you where the next hill will be when there are about five seconds left on the old hill. That way, you can make headway on the hill while the other team is trying to squeeze a few seconds out of the old hill. If you have a group of at least three players, you can easily run this playlist for wins. Again it all comes down to communication. The bigger issue here is what playlist you will need to be in. There is no King of the Hill playlist anymore so you will need to head to Team Objective to get some games. This many take up to six games to finish off.

The Challenges:
In The Back - Assassinate 10 Players. - 1600 XP
Assassinations are not too hard to come by but, this time, you will need to bring in ten assassinations overall, however. Now, to score an assassination, you need to go behind an enemy and hold down the melee button. An animation will then trigger that needs to mostly complete for the assassination to count. Now, Regicide, along with Team Snipers, is probably the best spot to score assassination in any sort of Slayer game since Team Slayer Pro was taken away. Generally, however, you will want to stick to objective games since you can then hide and ambush people. Basically, pick your poison for this challenge. Expect it to take five to six games to score these assassinations.

The Challenges:
Game Over, Man! - Complete 12 matchmaking War Games matches. - 1800 XP
So, this challenge is a lot easier than it ever was in Halo Reach for one simple reason; you do not actually have to be in the game from start to finish for it to count. Really, you only need to be in there at the end. This means that join-session-in-progress games will count for this challenge as long as you are in there once the game finishes. Work on the "Drilled" challenge first and then move on to whatever games you please to finish off this challenge. Remember, that getting kicked, disconnected, or quitting from games will cause them not to count for this challenge. You just need to complete twelve games, so this shouldn't take too long.

The Challenges:
To Be Precise - Get 75 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon. - 1500 XP
Precision Loadout weapons in Halo 4 include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Covenant Carbine, and the Light Rifle. These are all the precision weapons that you can add to a customized loadout. Sniper, Binary Cannon, and Covenant Beam Rifle do not fall into this category. Now, some playlists, like SWAT, have you exclusively using these weapons and these are your best bets for completing these challenges. As all these games require sixty kills now, your average number of kills should jump up a little, though seventy-five kills will remain well out of range for almost all players in a regular game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. Expect this challenge to take five to six games to complete.

The Challenges:
Got Backup - Get 20 kills with a Secondary Weapon. - 1000 XP
Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Bolt Shot. You are only really likely to score kills with the Magnum and Boltshot as the Plasma Pistol will likely just end up getting you killed. If you are on a map with a lot of narrow corridors, the Bolt Shot is best but use the Magnum if you are in more wide open spaces. Now, you just need twenty kills over the day, not in a single game. The best place to get these kills, however, will be in a gametype like SWAT where you can just score easy headshots. If that is your plan, you will want a smaller map like Adrift or Haven, since the Magnum will get raped by a DMR or BR on the larger maps. I would expect this challenge to take about two to three games of actively trying for these kills to complete.

The Challenges:
One, Two, Three, Four... - Earn 10 Multikill medals. - 1500 XP
A multikill in Halo 4 is earned when you score multiple kills each within four and a half seconds of each other. These are decidedly less common in Halo 4 than they were in Reach so you really need to set up the right gametype and such to score them. Now, having access to large number of enemies and heavy weapons is a great way to score multikills. Grifball is back so that is definitely an option for this challenge. I am somewhat doubtful that a lot of multikills will be scored when going for the "Baller" challenge due to the playlists you will be in so work on this one first. Ten multikills should take about two or three games to complete.

The Challenges:
Spartan Takedown - Kill 75 Players. - 1000 XP
Typically, this challenge is only asking for thirty-five or so kills for the Daily variant. That is clearly changing up today as the challenge is now asking for a hundred kills, a slight increase, but actually dropping XP value by quite a bit. Regardless, you need to get a seventy-five kills today in War Games, overall for this challenge. Not in a single game or in a specific mode, just over all. For most people, this is probably a four or five games' worth of kills depending on the playlist. Complete "Threading The Needle" first but that not be enough games for absolutely anyone. Play whatever you like or just play some standard slayer games or jump into the Grifball playlist. In the end, this challenge should not take a lot of work to complete and it will just be a bit more XP for you to bank.

A Slight Change In Programming
Hey everyone,
So, as many of you might have noticed, I stopped posting the Reach Daily Challenge guides. The reason for this is, ultimately, due to a lack of time. I have been doing Reach challenge guides for more than two years and with Halo 4 having already been out for a decent amount of time it just seemed like it was time to finally cut back on Reach. I have still been posting the Weekly Challenge guides along with the Daily Challenges for that day since I do not yet want to completely abandon Reach.
There hasn't been much in the way of comments about this change, so I am guessing that everyone is cool with it. Now, if enough people still want Reach Daily challenges posted, I will try to do what I can, but doing three posts every Monday along with two every other day can get very tiring. I am generally lacking time due to trying to get some other projects done, getting in shape, and looking for a new job. I do want to work on more stuff for the blog focusing on other games besides Halo, however, and more original content. I am hoping for a redesign to happen sometime in the next month or two, at least.
Regardless, if you feel strongly either way about the lack of Reach Daily Challenge guides, please speak up in the comments or tweet @facetioussincer on Twitter.
Thanks for reading,
-Facetious Sincerity

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, a hundred and twenty kills is just about normal for Firefight Matchmaking so this challenge is not overly surprising. The "Survivor" challenge is the only other Firefight Matchmaking challenge today and should likely get enough kills to take care of this challenge. A hundred and twenty kills is right at the limit of kills you typically get in a single game so there is a chance that you will end just short of the kills needed for this challenge. All in all, be ready to play a second game of Score Attack just to finish this challenge off.
Golden Tree City - Find and kill the Gold Ranger-class Elite in a Banshee, fast and low, while on New Alexandria, on Legendary. - 4500cR
This is one of the more interesting challenge to have come up for this reason: we did not know this Gold Ranger-class Elite (or BoB) even existed until this challenge appeared back in the day. Now it is widely know and there are tons of videos on it floating around. Here is my video guide. What you will need to do is load up New Alexandria on Legendary and then fly near Club Errera. You will want to hang out at an altitude of one-sixty to one-eighty. The Banshee, which will be constantly boosting, normally coming from the northwest, will not stop to attack you and normally arrives any time after five minutes. I had to wait twelve minutes, other people have had to wait twenty, so be patient with this one.

The Challenges:
This Is Gonna Hurt - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Famine, Tilt and Thunderstorm skulls. - 4500 XP
So, you are likely going to see both of these challenges and think to do them at one time. However, due to the fact that "The Conductor" does not require the any skulls and is on a higher difficulty, I would urge you to not do that. Composer is a difficult level that has a lot of enemies. Now, the Famine Skull will cause all weapons on the ground to have half as much ammunition, the Tilt skull will modify the damage tables, and the Thunderstorm skull will upgrade all enemies. Instead, I would run through Dawn as it is the easiest level of the game and also has the most placed weapons so it will be unaffected by the Famine Skull. You can also skip parts during the final fights but just sprinting from button to button, in essence.

The Challenges:
Deft Hand - Earn 8 Combat Skill Medals. - 1200 XP
Combat Skill medals include the Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper medals. You need eight of these overall today and so you will need to be ready to play a lot of games. Use precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Sniper) to score Headcase (headshot on a running target) medals and then use grenades when you are near death for the From the Grave medal. Reload This is pretty much dependent on the other player but people need to reload their weapons. Killyjoys and Showstoppers are a bit more rare and harder to get so do not focus on them. You can expect to get about two to four medals a game. Complete "Raise The Flag" first, however, as you will probably get some Combat Skill medals while playing it.
Raise The Flag - Win 5 matchmaking Capture the Flag matches. - 1500 XP
So, about two weeks ago, this challenge for two less wins was worth almost four times as much experience points. Way to hit us when we are down, 343i. Not only do you make it harder, but you reward us less. Come on. You can do better. Regardless, Capture the Flag is a gametype where you need a communicative team to help you capture the flag, but also defend you own flag. The one shitty thing about capture the flag is that it often goes down to the time limit with no one getting the required five scores to win it. Most of the maps are simply too big for that. So, one way to speed it up is to pick smaller maps. You will need to venture into the Capture The Flag playlist for this challenge, obviously, but games can also be had in the DLC, Team Doubles, and Team Objective playlists.

The Challenges:
Dominator - Win 3 matchmaking Dominion matches. - 1500 XP
You know, I just never really got into the Dominion gametype. I guess I still miss Invasion, but hopefully that will be back for Halo 5. Now, Dominion is a gametype where there are three bases which you can capture and holding them for a certain amount of time gives you points. The first team to four-hundred points wins. Having a team that knows the maps and how to hold the bases is a must for this gametypes. If you have a lot of back and forth, the game will go on longer than it needs to. Now, you can also capture all the bases and then, if you kill the entire other team, the game will end with your victory. Just three wins for the day and you will be all set.

The Challenges:
To The Victor Go The Spoils - Win 5 matchmaking War Games matches. - 1500 XP
As I usually say, it is good to see more general "wins" challenge, since the specific gametypes one are annoying as hell. To get wins you need to follow some pretty simple rules. First off, stay away from any playlist that features more than two teams. The lower the number of teams, the higher your chances of being on the winning one. Secondly, stick to gametypes that you know and are good at. Exploring different game modes can be fun, but it you are going for wins, it is a bad idea. Finally, play with teammates that you know and play well with. Communication and knowing your team is key to scoring wins quickly. It makes life so much easier. Be ready to play up to double or more games than wins needed.

Now, you need to score fice in a single match but this is not really a difficult challenge if you are in a long match with a lot of players. It should already be pretty clear that this means an objective game, not slayer. Dominion would be my preferred gametype, though you can also have great success with Capture the Flag as those games typically go the entire time.

The Challenges:
The Kingslayer - Earn 5 Regicides. - 1000 XP
We have Regicide challenges entirely too often. I think some Grifball based challenges would be fun. It is it's own actual game mode now, so it could be done. Oh, wait, the community came up with that gametype and it is good, not 343. Now, Regicides are earned when you kill the King in a Regicide match, whether Team or Free-for-all. Unlike the most recent time we had this challenge, you will need five Regicides rather than twenty. Whether you play standard Regicide or Team Regicide, slaying the King should be a regular occurrence, though less often in Team Regicide because you have an entire team to contend with. If you find it hard to come by King kills, head to the standard (FFA) Regicide and you can easily rack up the Regicides needed in a games or two (it is not uncommon to get almost ten Regicides a game in Free-for-all).

The Challenges:
The Kill-O-Tron - Earn 15 Multikill medals in a single match. - 1500 XP
So, Grifball is still here since it was introduced into matchmaking some months ago. Due to that addition, this challenge is easy as hell and will take absolutely no time to accomplish. First off, a multikill is earned when you score multiple kills within four and a half seconds of each other. With two kills this will be a Double Kill but you can take this up to ten kills for a Killionaire (nine multikills). Now, Grifball has you equipped only with Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords. If you have yet to venture into this playlist, it will take some adjustment from Reach, but not much. You can play up to five rounds in a close game so you have plenty of time to score these multikills. Dominion is another options if Grifball does not agree with you. Fifteen multikills will likely take two games to complete.

Halo 4 War Games Daily Challenges - 7/16/13
The Challenges:
In Your Face - Earn 15 CQC Medals. - 1500 XP
There are three Close Quarters Combat medals in Halo 4 and they are the Melee, Beat Down, and Bulltrue medals. Remember that, for the Beat Down medal, when behind an enemy, just tap melee instead of holding it to perform a Beat Down. To get these, you will typically want to be on a smaller map in an objective oriented game as it will allow you to get as many medals as possible. Oddball is typically good for close quarters combat on the smaller maps, especially if you have the ball or can use the ball-carrier to draw people in close range. As well, standard slayer games will work well too, just not as many medals per game. I would expect to get about six or seven of these per game when actually trying, though you will not see the Bull True that often. You might complete this while working on the "Dominator" challenge, so complete this last.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 7/15/13
Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!
The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2550cR
So there are two other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today, the "Aggressive Negotiations" challenge, which will most likely get you about twenty to thirty kills, and the "Credits For Completion" challenge which can bring in eighty to a hundred kills. Add to that the Weekly Challenge which may or may not get taken care of by the other challenges and you really do not need to worry about this challenge. Seventy-five kills in a single day is probably considered a breeze by most, if not all players of Reach and Halo in general. All in all, not much to do today so just have fun.
Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
This, as usual will be the focal point challenge of the day and will likely take all of your attention. It is, however, the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today. Now, unfortunately, you will need the full ten vehicle kills today. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills by kiting around the final enemies, typically Hunters. Unfortunately, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take four to five games to complete or maybe even two if you get really lucky.

The Weekly Challenges:
The Coming Of The Dawn - Complete Dawn solo on Legendary difficulty. - 13000 XP
This is the first level of Halo 4 and, most likely, the easiest as it will attempt to re-introduce the player into Halo and showcase any changes made from Reach. In other words, it is our Winter Contingency for Halo 4. You can die as much as you want for this challenge as there is now "without dying" stipulation. This level does allow you to fall back and keep your distance so utilize the Magnum and BR during the Observations deck sequence and the exterior sequence. Does not take too long to complete so these are really easy credits. I would be more worried about "That's No Moon!" as the level is a lot harder than "Dawn."

The Challenges:
The Pistolero - Get 6 kills with a Secondary Weapon in a single match. - 1000 XP
Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Boltshot. You will not be scoring many kills with the Plasma Pistol so do not even worry about it. Since SWAT is an available playlist, this challenge is actually extremely easy to complete. Stick to the Magnum on smaller maps like Haven and go for headshots on your unshielded foes. The Boltshot is also viable and best used on a map like Adrift which has a lot more close quarters areas and in objective gametypes. You will need to spend a game exclusively focusing on these weapons if you plan on getting six kills and completing this challenge. Good luck.
Your Majesty - Win 6 matchmaking Regicide matches. - 1200 XP
Well, now that we have a Team Regicide playlist, this becomes a much easier challenge to swallow, even if it is for six wins. Regicide is a gametype that I personally cannot stand, at least in the FFA variety because no one actually goes to try and kill the king, which kind of ruins the point of the game. Since we are going for wins, Team Regicide will be your best bet since you automatically have a fifty percent chance of winning instead of a twelve or so percent chance. Whenever possible, make sure that you eliminate the King on the other team and that you do what you can to protect yours. As always, communicate with your teammates. Expect that this challenge may take up to twelve or so games to complete, however.

Spartan Master Killer - Kill 15 Players in a single War Games match. - 1500 XP
It used to be that fifteen kills would get you almost three-thousand experience points. Well, not quite anymore. This first challenge, asking you to score fifteen kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, you need a playlist with a lot of player and no kill limit. That pretty much means Dominion or Grifball. In Dominion, I would head for the larger vehicles, like Scorpion and Wraith Tanks. Stay near bases to play defense and you should have no trouble racking up the kills. Grifball allows you to get an insane number of kills regardless. This is also doable in most other slayer-based playlists, just easier in Dominion and Grifball.

The Challenges:
Spartan Takedown - Kill 100 Players. - 1500 XP
Typically, this challenge is only asking for thirty-five or so kills for the Daily variant. That is clearly changing up today as the challenge is now asking for a hundred kills, a slight increase, but not really increasing the XP value by all that much. Regardless, you need to get a hundred kills today in War Games, overall for this challenge. Not in a single game or in a specific mode, just over all. For most people, this is probably a three or four games' worth of kills depending on the playlist. Complete "The Pistolero" first but that not be enough games for absolutely anyone. Play whatever you like or just play some standard slayer games or jump into the Grifball playlist. In the end, this challenge should not take a lot of work to complete and it will just be a bunch more XP for you to bank.

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
So there is one other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today, the "Killing Frenzy" challenge, and it will most likely not get you enough kills to complete this challenge. It might get you around fifty to sixty kills or less, so the rest will be up to you to take care of. Grifball is a great playlist for this, as you can get thirty to fifty kills per game. Multi Team and Invasion are also good options as they will allow you to rack up a ton of kills too. All in all, not much to do today so just have fun.
Blast Radius - Kill 40 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with grenades. - 1000cR
Haven't really seen grenade kills too much recently, but I guess they are making a comeback now. So, today, you need forty grenade kills. All these grenade kills need to be done today but not necessarily in one specific game, so do not feel bad about spreading it out. This is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today so you have some freedom to play whatever you want. Gruntpocalypse and 2X Score Attack in the Score Attack playlist are best. Aim for clusters of Grunts as they spawn since they will not move immediately. Expect this to take a game or two to complete.

The Challenges:
Baller - Win 3 matchmaking Oddball matches. - 1800 XP
Two of these in a single day? That is a little mean. Rather just have the generic kills challenges at this point. Oddball is a moderately quick gametype if is played on a smaller map and it is easier to hold onto the ball as it can be passed (using the throw grenade button). Again, you will need a coordinated team when stepping into this playlist as they need to know how to guard the ball carrier but also, most of all, where to guard the ball carrier. The ball carrier always needs an exit so the other team does not easily retrieve the ball. This challenge will likely take more than two games so be ready for that. Due to the changes in playlists, you will need to head to the Team Objective playlist for this challenge.

The Challenges:
To The Victor Go The Spoils - Win 5 matchmaking War Games matches. - 1000cR

The Challenges:
Gunslinger - Kill 150 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 5500cR
I am surprised that they did not throw in a campaign challenge today to go along with the challenges in all the other modes. Regardless, these a hundred and fifty kills needed in multiplayer Matchmaking will not get taken care of by the other challenges today. The only other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge, "T-Hug It Out" will probably bring in about thirty kills. For the remaining a hundred and twenty, stick to the Grifball playlist. You can score thirty to fifty or more kills per game so you can wrap up this challenge extremely quick. Overall, today is pretty easy.
Demon - Kill 30 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2400cR
Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack Playlist. Aim for 2X Score Attack since the final wave will always be twenty or so Elites. Do your best to make sure that none of them kill themselves and you will have this done in two easy games. Now, I would suggest completing this challenge first as it will probably get you a bunch of Grunt kills for the "A Satisfied Thirst" challenge. You won't have to play a lot of games in Firefight Matchmaking today anyway.

The Weekly Challenges:
I Would Walk 500 Miles - Complete Reclaimer on Legendary difficulty without dying. - 14000 XP
Hmm, two new Campaign challenges for this week. How very interesting. Actually, they are not exactly new, just continuations in already started series of challenges. This one, is asking you to play through Reclaimer without dying on Legendary. However, it does not state that you have to do so solo. This means grab a friend (or friends) and you can bang out this challenge and "Midnight Huddle." Specifically for Reclaimer, when you get to vehicular combat, do not let the Marines drive, it will just get you killed. Let them man the gun to so you can live and take multiple vehicles so you have more firepower. Eventually you will get a Scorpion Tanks and, at that point, just blast the hell out of everything. This mission does seem to go on for a while so be patient with it.

The Challenges:
Drilled - Get 12 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon in a single match. - 1200 XP
As all these games require sixty kills now, but your average number of kills should jump up a little putting twelve definitely in range of a regular game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. This does need to be completed in a single game but should only take one attempt to complete.
Infected - Win 5 matchmaking Flood matches. - 1500 XP
So, it seems that we have returned to the "do a bunch of difficult shit, get little reward" version of the War Games daily challenges. What joy! Anyway, Flood is a technically a Free-for-all mode though you will see yourself divided by teams. Unlike Reach, the Flood/Zombies are much more powerful in Halo 4 thanks to the thruster pack and the seemingly longer lunge range of the sword. As well, zombies also have shields so if you are one, hope is not lost. If you have a lot of campers, make use of invisibility so you can surprise them. If you are a survivor, make sure you utilize the Magnum at range and the Shotgun close up. Five wins will take a while to acquire, but it is doable if you start early enough in the day and keep at it.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, this is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today. A meager hundred and twenty kills is about on par with what you will normally see on a day like today for this challenge. A single game in the Score Attack playlist will typically get these kills for you. Either Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack will get this done as both will get you about a hundred and twenty kills in either game. You might fall a bit short so be ready to play an extra game today to finish this challenge off.
Throwing Fireballs - Kill 2 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1000cR
It is not often that we see a grenade-based challenge that is so easy, only asking for two kills. You can use Fragmentation (Frag) Grenades or Plasma (Sticky) Grenades to score these kills. Gametype is important and Multi Team has always done the best for me since you have nine targets and all of them are also trying to kill another nine targets. Go for small maps like Countdown (Swordbase is a little too big) and head to the middle. Just toss your grenades as people are attacking each other and you should be all set. This should really only take a single game to complete.

The Challenges:
Dominator - Win 5 matchmaking Dominion matches.
Just five wins for the day and you will be all set.

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
It is really up in the air today whether or not this challenge will get taken care of by the other challenges today. I'm leaning towards saying that it will take care of it, but it depends on what gametypes you pick for each challenge. "Helping Hand" is very unlikely to get you a bunch of extra kills, maybe only twenty or so, but "Chaddlesby's Justice" can rake in a hefty amount if you work on it in Grifball, potentially sixty kills. "...Got a Triple Double" is kind of in that territory too, but it is likely to not need any extra games to complete. That puts you almost right at eighty kills. If you fall short, just play one game to finish it off.
Helping Hand - Earn 10 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
An assist in multiplayer Matchmaking is earned when you do forty percent damage to an enemy that is then killed by another player. This happens pretty commonly and is typically someone stealing your kills. However, we want it to happen today, at least ten times. I typically get about two to three assists per game without trying so you may not even have to try for this, just play normally and the other challenge will take care of it. This will likely be easier if you coordinate this with friends and work on it after you complete your "Chaddlesby's Justice" challenge along with "...Got a Triple Double."
