Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 7/15/13

The Challenges:

Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2550cR
So there are two other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today, the "Aggressive Negotiations" challenge, which will most likely get you about twenty to thirty kills, and the "Credits For Completion" challenge which can bring in eighty to a hundred kills. Add to that the Weekly Challenge which may or may not get taken care of by the other challenges and you really do not need to worry about this challenge. Seventy-five kills in a single day is probably considered a breeze by most, if not all players of Reach and Halo in general. All in all, not much to do today so just have fun.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
This, as usual will be the focal point challenge of the day and will likely take all of your attention. It is, however, the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today. Now, unfortunately, you will need the full ten vehicle kills today. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills by kiting around the final enemies, typically Hunters. Unfortunately, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take four to five games to complete or maybe even two if you get really lucky.

Aggressive Negotiations - Earn at least 17 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3430cR
Challenges like these always look harder than they actually are. The reason they are not all that difficult is thanks to objective gametypes. Most notable of these is Grifball. Seventeen kills in a single game is actually quite easy to accomplish. Now, the average number of kills for most people in a slayer-based game is around twelve or so, well short of the seventeen kills needed for this challenge. Therefore, head to objective gametypes where there is no kill-limit messing with the game. Grifball will allow you to get thirty or so kills so that is your best option.

Credits for Completion - Complete 8 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2800cR
Well, this goes pretty nicely with the Weekly Challenge, to be honest. To complete a game in Halo Reach, you simply need to play from start to finish, unlike Halo 4. Now, the other challenges today will likely take about three or four games so you do not need to go out of your way for this one. If by chance you happen to get kicked, dropped, or quit from any game, it will not count towards this challenge and, if it happens enough, you can receive a temporary ban from matchmaking. In other words, be careful. No other challenges today will give you a lot of games in multiplayer Matchmaking so you will be on your own for the later part of this one but this is still a pretty easy challenge.

The Weekly Challenge:
Best Served Cold - Take your Revenge on 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 7777cR

Well, here is the same Weekly Challenge as last week. Not too surprising at this point. In order to score a Revenge medal, you will need to kill the enemy that just recently killed you before anyone else does. Grifball is the okay for this challenge as you can die really easily and then get your revenge, but another player can very quickly get the kill as well, so it is a double-edged sword. Team Snipers or Team SWAT can you serve you well also as it follows the same principles of Grifball; easy to die and then get the revenge. You have all week to get these so try to get eleven a day, if not more, and it will be all taken care of.
