The Challenges:
More Than a Handful - Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Being as it is only a Wednesday, the fact that we have challenges from all the major modes of Reach, excluding Forge, should not be all that surprising. It is pretty normal. Now, only one of these challenges, the "Now I have a Machine Gun" one will matter for this challenge. You need seventy-seven kills today in multiplayer Matchmaking. This means that you will need to play extra games beyond "Now I have a Machine Gun" to finish this one off. Aim for Grifball and the like as you can get thirty or so kills per game in that playlist. Multi Team and Invasion are good playlists as well.

Just Hold On... - Complete 6 Rounds in Firefight Matchmaking without dying. - 1500cR
This will be the hardest challenge of the day, guaranteed, and will also take the longest. A round is five waves and three rounds make up a set. Now, if you die in any early round, the later rounds will not count due to how the system works in Reach, so stick to the regular Firefight playlist with four players so you have a better chance of surviving. Hang back and try to let your teammates do most of the work. Beachhead and Glacier are great maps for this because they have high hiding spots, reachable by jet-pack and are just generally wide open so the Covies cannot get to your quickly. Expect to play two to four games for this challenge.

Leadership Element - Kill 30 enemy leaders in the Campaign today. - 2750cR
This actually ends up being a generally misleading challenge because it indicates that you need to kill leaders. However, you actually need to kill Elites, though this is not an issue with custom challenge, so you need to find forty-five to kill. The best level for this is ONI: Swordbase as you have a large amount of Elites to kill. Forty-five will be pushing it, however, so do not be surprised if you have to replay the level or move onto Nightfall. You can also play through some of the later levels like Pillar of Autumn or Long Night of Solace but, time-wise, nothing beats ONI: Swordbase.

Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 20 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Automatic weapons in Halo Reach include the AR, the Plasma Rifle, the Plasma Repeater, the Needler, and the Brute Spiker. You will not really get to see the Brute Spike too much in multiplayer Matchmaking so focus on the AR and the Needler. Multi Team has always fared well for me with this challenge since you almost always start out with an AR and everyone is killing each other. Multi Team will also allow you to get a bunch of kills overall, today, which will be very useful for the "More than a Handful" challenge. Likely, you will still need extra games for that one, however.
