The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
No need to worry about this challenge today, as is the usual. These a hundred kills can be gained in any game mode in Reach but most of them will be gained in the Firefight Matchmaking mode for us. The "Survivor" challenge has you going for seven sprees in a single Firefight Matchmaking game. The suggested playlist for that is the Score Attack playlist and a single game there will have you achieving about a hundred and twenty kills. You are well over a hundred then, but if you manage to fall short somehow, then you still have the kills from "Multiplier" and "Throwing Fireballs" to help you make up the difference.

Multiplier - Earn 5 multikills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2500cR
Mildly related question, you finish up the Weekly Challenge yet, the one that was asking for two-hundred multi kills over this week? Hopefully, most of you have that finished off by now, though spending a crap-load of games in Grifball will get it done for you, as well as complete this challenge which is simply asking for five multi kills in a single game. Now, a multi kill is when you score multiple kills within four seconds of each other. If the Weekly Challenge is already taken care of for you, play an extra game of Grifball or see if you can get it taken care of during "Throwing Fireballs."

Survivor - Earn 7 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
So a spree in Firefight is a little different from a spree in multiplayer matchmaking. Multiplayer needs five kills to form a spree, whereas Firefight needs double that, at ten. It is ironic that this challenge is called "Survivor" since you will actually need to die to hit seven sprees. Getting fifty straight kills without a death will get you five sprees but, after that, the sprees are few and far between. The most you could possibly get is six sprees once you hit a hundred kill but no more after that. This means that, once you hit fifty kills, it would be a good idea to die and start over your sprees. Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack in the Score Attack playlist are the preferred gametypes for this challenge.

Throwing Fireballs - Kill 8 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1600cR
Really was amazed when I saw this challenge. You have to wonder why something like this is only worth sixteen-hundred credits. It is hard enough to get five or more grenade kills in a single game so getting eight is really pushing the envelope. Well, Multi Team and Team Objective are likely your best options since one will grant you just a bunch of targets and the other one will give you and objective to grenade relentlessly. Expect this to take a bunch of tries but, hopefully, you will be able to get it done in a few games. Try not to put a controller through the wall either.
