The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
So, time for Firefight Matchmaking challenge, as we would all normally expect on a Thursday, and the challenges today are pretty simplistic. First off, this challenge, asking you to score a hundred and twenty-kills over the day will be well taken care of. Basically, you will be scoring two-hundred kills for the "Scoped" challenge so you really have no need to worry about this challenge at all. Just ignore it and worry about the other challenges, though, they will not require much worrying.

Katanarama - Kill 5 enemies using the Energy Sword in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2500cR
There are two way you can go about completing this challenge but, thanks to the "Above the Law" challenge, one option is simply easier than the other. Now, since you need to complete a round without dying, you will most likely be in the standard Firefight playlist, which means you will be playing Arcadefight. Arcadefight has a loadout just for the sword but do not pick it when you first start out. Instead, do the "Above the Law" challenge first and then concentrate on getting your sword kill. You have an entire two rounds in which to get five sword kills and these do not even have to be done in a single game. The other option is to load up 2X Score Attack and get a sword at an Elite from the very end but the Arcadefight option is simply easier.

Above the Law - Complete a Round in Firefight Matchmaking without dying. - 2000cR
A whole round without dying is not as hard as it seems though there are more stipulations to this challenge than it would seem. First off, a round is comprised of five waves and three rounds make up a set. All games in Score Attack are a single set and all games in the Firefight playlist are a single set. Now, this needs to be done in the first round of a game if you are in the Firefight playlist. Dying once will make all subsequent rounds not count, which is a really stupid issue that should have been fixed a while ago. This should be much easiest to complete in the Firefight playlist as you will have three teammates with you and you can spend more time hiding if needed. This can also definitely be completed in Score Attack, but you will be on your own in that playlist.

Scoped - Kill 200 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with precision weapons. - 2500cR
Precision weapons in Reach include the DMR, the Sniper Rifle, the Needle Rifle, and the Covenant Focus Rifle but you will only really be using the DMR and Sniper in Firefight Matchmaking. Now, most gametype will let you use a precision weapon from the base loadouts, unless you got a gametype like Rocketfight or something. I would complete the "Above the Law" and the "Katanarama" challenge in the Firefight playlist while trying to use what precision weapons possibly and then move to the Score Attack playlist. If you have at least eighty precision weapon kills, you can hop into 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse and finish the challenge off in a single game. Otherwise, expect to extra games for this challenge.
