The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
A hundred kills today should be very easy to take care of today thanks to the other challenges. The "Home Field Advantage" challenge will probably yield about fifty to a hundred kills, the "Fortified Court" challenge will give you a thousand plus kills, while the "Eyes in the Sky" challenge has you getting about twenty to thirty kills. All in all, you do not need to go out of your way at all for this challenge. Enjoy the free credits from this challenge since you will be working for all the other ones.

Home Field Advantage - Win 4 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1600cR
Eight wins can definitely be challenging to some but this needs challenge little explanation. There is no other multiplayer Matchmaking challenges today, so you will be doing this challenge all on your own. To help you score wins, stick to gametypes with no more than two teams, in a playlist you are good at, and with people you know on your team. This can take up to eight games to complete so be ready for the long haul. Grifball is one of the faster gametypes, along with Team SWAT. This really depends upon your personal preference here but make sure you start on this early.

The Challenges:

Spartan Master Killer - Kill 8 Players in a single War Games match. - 800 XP
What is the point of having a challenge like this if the reward is going to be so low? You can get that in a single game while just playing normally. Makes no sense. Anyway, this first challenge, asking you to score five kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, you need a playlist with a lot of players and no kill limit. That pretty much means Dominion or Grifball. I would head for the larger vehicles, like Scorpion and Wraith Tanks. Stay near bases to play defense and you should have no trouble racking up the kills. Grifball allows you to get an insane number of kills regardless. This is also doable in most other slayer-based playlists, just easier in Dominion and Grifball.

The Challenges:

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
So, today, we have this one lone Firefight Matchmaking challenge and all these other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge. They do not exactly lend themselves to each other, do they? Regardless, none of the other challenges will help you reach the hundred and twenty kills needed today for this challenge. Instead, you will need to play a game, or possibly two, in the Score Attack playlist. A single game, be it Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack, will typically get you about a hundred and twenty kills. You may end up a kill or two short, which is why you should be prepared for an extra game to make ends meet.

Secondary Fire - Earn 25 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2875cR
Well, we haven't seen a challenge like this for months. I was starting to think that they had forgotten about the numerous other stats in Reach used for challenge. Now, you will earn an assist when you deal at least forty percent damage to an enemy who is killed by another player before that health is regained. My go-to mode for this has always been Multi Team since there are so many enemies and some many people to steal the kills from you. Aim for more concentrated maps like Countdown and stick to the high-traffic, lower areas when getting into combat. Actively try not to kills people, just damage them and then run away so someone else can pick up the kill. Should take three to four games to complete.

The Challenges:

Deposed! - Earn 4 Regicides in a single match. - 925 XP
Well, I wonder if this challenge could be made any easier. They could perhaps only ask for a single "Regicide." Still not onboard with this gametype at all, though. Now, a Regicide is earned when you kill the king in a game of Regicide. It used to be that this challenge required ten in a single game, but this lower total will make things much easier. Expect the typical douche-like behavior from some people who are just going for kills and not the king. I have scored eleven in a game before in FFA Regicide, but I am not expecting such glowing results today. Try to play with a few friends, if you can, as that way you can coordinate with them to take down the king faster. The longer the king stays alive, the higher his bounty probably is, and you want it as low as possible. Should take a single game to complete.

The Challenges:

To The Victor Go The Spoils - Win 10 matchmaking War Games matches. - 2500 XP
As I usually say, it is good to see more general "wins" challenge, since the specific gametypes one are annoying as hell. To get wins you need to follow some pretty simple rules. First off, stay away from any playlist that features more than two teams. The lower the number of teams, the higher your chances of being on the winning one. Secondly, stick to gametypes that you know and are good at. Exploring different game modes can be fun, but it you are going for wins, it is a bad idea. Finally, play with teammates that you know and play well with. Communication and knowing your team is key to scoring wins quickly. It makes life so much easier. Be ready to play up to double or more games than wins needed.

The Challenges:

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Another Firefight Thursday for everyone! Not really a surprise, I hope, as it is like this every Thursday. Now, this challenge is not at all challenging, even a little. A standard game in the Score Attack playlist will usually yield about a hundred and twenty kills. You will be playing up to four games today for the "Heroic Court" and "More Like in Post" challenges. That means you will be getting almost five-hundred kills. Now, that is a much higher number than a hundred and twenty, obviously, meaning that these kills are taken care of and you are basically just getting free credits. Enjoy!

Heroic Court - Kill 150 enemies on Overlook on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1125cR
I'm just now realizing, this should really be the challenge name for Courtyard, not Overlook. Wonder what happened there. Anyway, this is the lone Firefight Matchmaking challenge for today and will likely take you very little time to complete. Overlook is a mediocre map but playable with the right gametype. All though it can be annoying solo, your best bet for this challenge is the Score Attack playlist. Either 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse will give you what you need for this challenge. Either gametype will net you a hundred and twenty or so kills, thirty less than what is needed for this challenge. That means you will need to do two games overall to complete this challenge.

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
We have ventured back to these generic challenges just asking for kills, not consigned to any particular mode, which is a very good thing. We have two challenges that will bring in a ton of kills today, those being the "Flat Tire" challenge, which will bring in about two-hundred and forty to six-hundred kills, and "The Love of the Game" challenge which may bring in another two-hundred kills. You also have "Leadership Element" which may bring a few hundred kills. All in all, this challenge is definitely taken care of by pretty much any of these challenges. Just have fun and collect these free credits.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
This, as usual will be the focal point challenge of the day and will likely take all of your attention. It is, however, the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today. Now, unfortunately, you will need the full ten vehicle kills today. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills by kiting around the final enemies, typically Hunters. Unfortunately, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take four to five games to complete or maybe even two if you get really lucky.

The Challenges:

Spray And Pray - Get 15 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon. - 1250 XP
Automatic Loadout Weapons in Halo 4 include the AR (Automatic Rifle), the Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. The Needler and the Chain Gun do not count for these challenges as you cannot equip them in loadouts. These fifteen kills, luckily, do not need to be in a single game and can be earned over the entire day. Whichever weapon you choose will depend on several things, the first of which being what weapons you have unlocked, the next being the type of combat you prefer. The Storm Rifle has the tightest spread but is the weakest while the Suppressor is the most powerful but is the most inaccurate. The AR sits in the middle being the best compromise to both weapons with a decently concentrated spread and good power behind it. I would stick to objective gametypes as they will allow you to get in close quarters and score these kills. Expect this challenge to take a game or two to complete so do "Drop Bear!" first.

The Challenges:

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 5343cR
My gut instinct today is that this challenge will not get taken care of by the other challenges. A hundred and fifty kills is not a lot to begin with but "That Pink Mist" will probably only bring in eighty to ninety kills total, "Storm's Comin'" will probably only bring in about ten or so kills, and the "Explosive Ordnance Distribution" challenge will bring about thirty. That leaves you a few kills short of this challenge. Now, remember that you also have the Weekly Challenge in the mix and it is asking you to play about eleven games a day. Those will definitely take care of these kills so no real reason to worry.

That Pink Mist - Kill 70 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
So this will definitely be the hardest challenge of the day. A Supercombine occurs when you stick enough enemies with needles that the resulting explosion kills them. It has to be the explosion that kills them, not the final needs that trigger the explosion, which is what happens with all grunts unless the Mythic Skull is on. Now, the Firefight playlist is your best bet for this challenge and you will want the gametype Arcadefight NEP as it will allow you to choose a loadout with an FRG and a Needler. These weapons will have unlimited ammunition. Now, this might take two games because you will have three other players to compete with, but expect the kills to start going up once the second round starts as the Mythic Skull will then be on.

The Challenges:

The Pistolero - Get 10 kills with a Secondary Weapon in a single match. - 1000 XP
Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Boltshot. You will not be scoring many kills with the Plasma Pistol so do not even worry about it. Since SWAT is an available playlist, this challenge is actually extremely easy to complete. Stick to the Magnum on smaller maps like Haven and go for headshots on your unshielded foes. The Boltshot is also viable and best used on a map like Adrift which has a lot more close quarters areas and in objective gametypes. You will need to spend a game exclusively focusing on these weapons if you plan on completing this challenge. Good luck.

The Challenges:

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking - 3000cR
Well, every single challenge today, including the Weekly Challenge, is in multiplayer Matchmaking. Hell, it isn't even a Friday. I can't remember this happening anytime recently but I guess it is not really a special occasion, to be honest. The fifty kills required for this challenge are nothing at all to be intimidated by thanks to all the other challenges today. Just the "This Is My Rifle..." challenge will finish this off but you are also playing a bunch of games today for the Weekly Challenge anyway.  These are just easy, free credits.

This is My Rifle... - Earn 100 kills with precision weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
Precision weapons include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the Sniper, the Focus Beam Rifle, and the Needle Rifle. There are a multitude of playlists that start you out with precision weapons so getting forty kills is basically just a small grind. Team SWAT, Team Snipers, MLG, and Arena all start you off with precision weapons, typically, and are ideal playlists for getting this challenge completed. A hundred kills will likely take eight to ten games to complete so just take it slow. You are playing a ton of multiplayer Matchmaking today anyway, so work on this challenge last.

The Challenges:

Sunrise With Friends - Complete Dawn co-operatively on Legendary difficulty. - 12000 XP
I remember when this was a new challenge, back in the day, two and a half months ago. Nothing really new since then, unfortunately. Regardless, this challenge wants you to play the initial level of the game, Dawn, co-operatively on Legendary difficulty. This is actually a rather easy challenge as Dawn is the easiest, shortest level of the game and no skulls are required. A run-through would probably take about thirty minutes tops. However, you can save time by having your friend run ahead, especially once you are on the hull of the ship, to the next objective. Unfortunately, "Composition Chaos" is for the level Composer, otherwise you could likely get this done relatively quickly. Now, instead, you will need to play two levels today rather than just a single run through.

The Challenges:

Drilled - Get 18 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon in a single match. - 2455 XP
Precision Loadout weapons in Halo 4 include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Covenant Carbine, and the Light Rifle. These are all the precision weapons that you can add to a customized loadout. Sniper, Binary Cannon, and Covenant Beam Rifle do not fall into this category. Now, some playlists, like SWAT, have you exclusively using these weapons and these are your best bets for completing these challenges. As all these games require sixty kills now, but your average number of kills should jump up a little putting eighteen definitely in range of a single game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. This does need to be completed in a single game but should only take two or three attempts to complete.

One, Two, Three, Four... - Earn 12 Multikill medals. - 1750 XP
A multikill in Halo 4 is earned when you score multiple kills each within four and a half seconds of each other. These are decidedly less common in Halo 4 than they were in Reach so you really need to set up the right gametype and such to score them. Now, having access to large number of enemies and heavy weapons is a great way to score multikills. Grifball is back so that is definitely an option for this challenge. I am somewhat doubtful that a lot of multikills will be scored when going for the "Drilled" challenge due to the playlists you will be in so work on this one first. Twelve multikills should take about two or three games to complete.

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Here, you have all these challenges today but none of them are in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge is however. It sucks, to an extent, but should not cause too many problems. Now, a hundred and twenty kills is about what you would get in a standard game in the Score Attack playlist. The gametype is entirely up to you, however. Gruntpocalypse and 2X Score Attack are the typical preferred methods and either one should do. You might end up a kill or two short so be ready to play a second game if necessary.

Sticky Icky Icky - Earn 3 sticky grenade Kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2250cR
Sticky grenades (aka Plasma Grenades) are one of the more interesting weapons in the Halo sandbox and we have had them since Halo CE. You need to get three sticky kills with these in a single game. That means that you stick someone and then the grenade explodes and kills them. It does not count if people near the player die from the explosion, it only counts the player you stuck. The best playlist for this challenge is Multi Team since you can get the Elite Slayer gametype where you always spawn with a single Plasma Grenade. In Multi Team you have a bunch of targets so I would try specifically for those. Now, Slayer Pro in the MLG playlist is also an option, but you do not have as many targets. Remember, you need three in a single game.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 6/21/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
In all likelihood, you will not be able to hit a hundred and eighty kills today just following these challenges. "Pass the Rock" will get you very few kills, maybe thirty or so, the "Freelancing" challenge will likely get you another thirty or so, and the "Participation Counts" challenge may only add an extra thirty to forty kills. That puts you at, maybe, a hundred kills. For the other eighty kills, I would just recommend going into the Firefight playlist. You can get a hundred and twenty kills in a single game so it should work out quite well. Head for the Score Attack playlist to make it easier.

Pass the Rock - Earn 20 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1500cR
Well, it has been a long damn time since we have seen this challenge, about seven months to be exact. Either way, an assist is earned in multiplayer Matchmaking when you deal forty percent health damage to an enemy who is then killed by someone else before that health has been restored. Typically, you will see this as someone stealing your kill, but you get a nice little medal for it. Now, your best bet is to specifically try for these assists and not going for kills. Of course, you will end up with kills anyway, so do not worry about that. Now, Multi Team is the best playlist for this challenge because you have a ton of enemies (nine, to be exact) and a bunch of players who can score you an assist (nine again). Aim for the smaller maps and stick to the center so if you damage a play enough, he/she is in a prime spot to get you an assist. Expect this to take two to three games to complete. And if you do not get the reference to the name, it is about passing a Kidney Stone.

The Challenges:

Fully Automated - Get 8 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon in a single match. - 1456 XP
Automatic loadout weapon in Halo 4 include the AR (Assault Rifle), Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. You will likely not get as many kills with these weapons as precision weapons without actively trying for them since the effective range of the weapons is so much less. Which every gun you pick is up to you but this info my help you make a decision. The Suppressor has the widest spread but seems to have the most powerful shot. The Storm Rifle has the smallest spread but the weakest shots. The AR is pretty comfortable with a medium spread and medium damage, therefore making it the most deadly, in my opinion. Large team gametypes or objective gametypes on smaller maps like Adrift or Haven will serve you best for getting these kills. Eight isn't too large of a number, it just requires you to only be using these weapons.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 6/20/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
Well, since it is a Firefight Matchmaking Thursday (we expect these every week now, right?) and this is a relatively low amount of kills, you should not be overly surprised that you will not need to do any extra work to complete this challenge. Basically, you need a hundred kills today to finish this off and it can be in any game mode of Reach. Well, the "Going Outpost-al" challenge will be netting you about two-hundred and something kills while the "Heroic Holdout" will add another two hundred or so. You might even see the "Above the Law" challenge throw in another hundred or so. Regardless, not extra work is needed for this challenge. Just get to it.

Going Outpost-al - Kill 125 enemies on Outpost on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
Outpost isn't my favorite map for, especially for Score Attack, but it is doable in this instance and Score Attack is your best bet for this challenge. You will get about a hundred and twenty or so kills per game which means you will likely end up just short for this challenge. Stick to the building in the level as going outside will lend you no cover at all. Go for Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack and plan on playing a second game just to finish off this challenge, unfortunately. Make it the Crashsite gametype if you can.

Halo 4 War Games Daily Challenges - 6/20/13

The Challenges:

Got Backup - Get 20 kills with a Secondary Weapon. - 700 XP
Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Bolt Shot. You are only really likely to score kills with the Magnum and Boltshot as the Plasma Pistol will likely just end up getting you killed. If you are on a map with a lot of narrow corridors, the Bolt Shot is best but use the Magnum if you are in more wide open spaces. Now, you just need twenty kills over the day, not in a single game. The best place to get these kills, however, will be in a gametype like SWAT where you can just score easy headshots. If that is your plan, you will want a smaller map like Adrift or Haven, since the Magnum will get raped by a DMR or BR on the larger maps. I would expect this challenge to take about two to three games of actively trying for these kills to complete.

Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 6/19/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
As this is the day before we get challenges focused on either multiplayer Matchmaking or Firefight Matchmaking, this challenge is somewhat out of place. The only other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today is "Credits for Completion" which has you completing five games and that is all. Depending on what type of games you complete, while impact whether you need to play extra games for this challenge. Regular games will get you about twelve kills per game but if you venture into the Grifball playlist you can get over thirty kills per game and have this challenge done in no time flat. Seems like Grifball is the way to go then.

The T.G. Opposition - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking with the Shotgun. - 3000cR
There is really only one way to reliably get a shotgun in Firefight Matchmaking and that is to go into the standard Firefight playlist and pick Arcadefight. Now, a hundred kills will likely just take two games to complete because you will likely need to compete with three other players for kills, but it is slightly possible in a single game if you are on a small map and everyone else is idle. The Shotgun is an extremely short-range weapon so that will make it more difficult. Aim for a smaller map like Courtyard or Corvette and, again, expect to play two games for this challenge.

The Challenges:

Deft Hand - Earn 20 Combat Skill Medals. - 1925 XP
Combat Skill medals include the Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper medals. You need twenty of these overall today and so you will need to be ready to play a lot of games. Use precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Sniper) to score Headcase (headshot on a running target) medals and then use grenades when you are near death for the From the Grave medal. Reload This is pretty much dependent on the other player but people need to reload their weapons. Killyjoys and Showstopper are a bit more rare and harder to get so do not focus on them. You can expect to get about two to four medals a game. Complete "Dominator" first, however, as you will probably get some Combat Skill medals while playing it.

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
A hundred and eighty enemy kills today. It seems like the other challenges will have you taken care of, so there is not real need to worry about having to play extra for this one. Now, the "Light Fuse, Run Away" challenge will probably bring in about twenty or so kills, the "Return of the Mack" challenge around a hundred, and, finally, the "Flat Tire" challenge will probably give you anywhere between two-hundred and forty to six-hundred kills. Now, that all adds up to well over a hundred and eighty kills so enjoy these free credits.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
This, as usual will be the focal point challenge of the day and will likely take all of your attention. Unfortunately, you will need the full ten vehicle kills today.

Up Close And Personal - Earn 8 CQC Medals in a single match. - 1355 XP
CQC, or close quarters combat, medals in Halo 4 are very limited and only include the Melee, Bulltrue, and Beatdown medals. You would think that Grifball would be a great playlist for this challenge but Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer kills do not yield any CQC medals, which is somewhat idiotic. However, if you get control of the ball, you can easily score some Bulltrue and Melee medals. I was able to earn six CQC medals in a single game (as well as a bunch of kills and multikills) which is pretty close to having this challenge completed. As you might think, Grifball in Halo 4 will require some transition from Reach, but not much. Timing is about the same, so have fun. You can also try gametypes like Oddball and such to score these medals with some ease. Complete "Take The Hill!" first.

The Challenges:

More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
This is the odd challenge out today, though it does feel a tad redundant with the "Shootin' and Lootin'" challenge down below. This is the only multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today so you will have no extra help in getting these a hundred and twenty-five multiplayer Matchmaking kills taken care off. In a typical game, you will get about ten to fourteen kills, meaning that you would need to play about ten games for this challenge. So, aim for an atypical game. Grifball is your best bet as it will allow you to score thirty or so kills per game. That means you can get this challenge done in four to five games. Get to hammering.

Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 250 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3800cR
Well, I guess this is really the main "Get kills" challenge today. Typically you don't see these two challenges together, but you do need a ton of kills today. Two-hundred and fifty should not actually be that difficult to come by, in all honesty, thanks to these other challenges. First off, the "More than a Handful" challenge will get you a hundred and twenty-five kills, "There Are Many Like..." will get you a hundred kills, and "...Is a Virtue" will maybe add about forty kills to that number. Overall, that leaves you with two-hundred and sixty something kills. Pretty sure that takes care of this challenge.

The Challenges:

Requiem For A Friend - Complete Requiem co-operatively on Legendary difficulty. - 12000cR
Now that we have twice completed the "slightly, harder than Legendary but not quite LASO" weekly challenges, we have moved on to the Legendary co-op phase of challenges. Well, at least it is different. Now, after Dawn, Requiem is the next easiest level in Halo 4 because it lacks Prometheans. The level, however, is a bit on the long side and has plenty of Elites for you to worry about. A teammate will, of course, make the run slightly harder, but not by much. Make sure you utilize you armor abilities and just take it slow. Another thing to be mindful of is that you use appropriate weapons at appropriate times. I.e. do not waste a rocket on a single Grunt that you can just go melee. Conserving ammunition is very important for this level.

The Challenges:

One, Two, Three, Four... - Earn 8 Multikill medals. - 1250 XP
I am somewhat doubtful that a lot of multikills will be scored when going for the "Infected" challenge due to the playlists you will be in so work on this one first. Eight multikills should take about two or three games to complete.

Infected - Win 4 matchmaking Flood matches. - 1250 XP
So, it seems that we have returned to the "do a bunch of difficult shit, get little reward" version of the War Games daily challenges. What joy! Anyway, Flood is a technically a Free-for-all mode though you will see yourself divided by teams. Unlike Reach, the Flood/Zombies are much more powerful in Halo 4 thanks to the thruster pack and the seemingly longer lunge range of the sword. As well, zombies also have shields so if you are one, hope is not lost. If you have a lot of campers, make use of invisibility so you can surprise them. If you are a survivor, make sure you utilize the Magnum at range and the Shotgun close up. Four matches will take a while to win, but it is doable if you start early enough in the day and keep at it.

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, this challenge should be taken care of today by all the other challenges. Since you have two challenges that will require separate games of Firefight Matchmaking, a hundred and eighty kills is somewhat of a joke. The "Demon" challenge will only let you get about two-hundred and forty kills, while "Climb Points Mountain" will probably get your several hundred. Finally, the "Throwing Fireballs" challenge will not add much but maybe forty or fifty kills to the total. So, well above a hundred and eighty kills, right? As I said, somewhat of a joke today but enjoy the free credits.

Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2800cR
Well, this will be nowhere near as hard as it was before but it is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today, ("Climb Point Mountain cannot be done in Matchmaking.). Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack playlist. In the Score Attack playlist, you will want to aim for the 2X Score Attack gametype. The final wave of every game will have about twenty Elites for you to kill. This means that you will need to play at least two games to finish off this challenge. You can also play in the standard Firefight playlist, but it will take longer due to having to compete for the Elite kills.

The Challenges:

To Be Precise - Get 20 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon. - 900 XP
As all these games require sixty kills now, but your average number of kills should jump up a little, though twenty kills will remain out of range for most players in a regular game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. These do not need to be done in a single game however, so just try to have fun.

The Challenges:

Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, a hundred and twenty enemy kills is not really a lot, as it is what you would typically get in a standard game in the Score Attack playlist. However, we will likely not be in the Score Attack playlist today thanks to the "That Pink Mist" challenge. You will likely be playing two games in the standard Firefight playlist for that challenge and that hopefully should be enough for you to reach a hundred and twenty kills. You will hit more than seventy kill since not all will be super-combine kills. As well, it will not take the full second game to finish it off so go all out and make sure you get the kills you need.

A Great Friend - Earn 30 assists today in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3250cR
Oh, assists. This is one of the more aggravating challenges because you basically have to fail at killing your opponents, but it is refreshing to see a different type of challenge in here. Dealing an opponent forty percent damage and then having someone else take the kill will net you an assist. Now, the best gametype for assists, without a doubt, is the Multi Team gametype since you have a bunch of targets and a bunch of people to steal those targets from you. Do not expect to get thirty in a single game, but five to ten is not uncommon; it just depends on how hard you try for the assists. Expect this to take three to six games to complete.

The Challenges:

Exterminate! Exterminate! - Kill every member of the opposing team at least once in a match. - 2000 XP
You can somewhat treat this like an actually Extermination from Reach, but just spread out over an entire game. As well, there is a commendation that tracks this. Now, you do need to kill every member of the opposing team, just not at all once. This probably happens more often than not without you even noticing it. You will want to stick to gametypes with a low number of players per team. This means Team Slayer Pro, Infinity Slayer, or SWAT. Each one of those gametypes has teams of four players maximum. I'm not entirely sure how people joining and leaving the game effect this stat, but most likely you will need to have killed every player who is on the team once the game ends. Should take a game or two to complete.

The Challenges:

Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
Well, seventy-five kills today should not be too challenging with all the other challenges below. As well, since it is Friday, all the other challenges are multiplayer Matchmaking, as we have come to expect. Basically, "Up Close and Personal" will give you about thirty or so kills, "This is My Rifle" will bring in about sixty kills, and the "Freelancing" challenge may not bring in any extra kills thanks to "Up Close and Personal." This challenge will require no extra work so enjoy all these free credits.

Up Close and Personal - Kill 5 enemies with close quarters combat in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2343cR
Close quarters combat kills are typically kills made via the Shotgun, Gravity Hammer, Energy Sword, Melee, or Assassination. The best playlist in which to get these kills is the Grifball playlist. Grifball will allow you to get all of these kills except for Shotgun kills since there is simply no Shotgun in Grifball. You should be hitting probably around thirty kills per game in Grifball so five kills will take very little time at all. To be honest, you probably don't even need to be in Grifball to do this since it does not even need to be completed during a single game.
