Halo Reach Daily Challenges Guide - 6/18/13

Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
A hundred and eighty enemy kills today. It seems like the other challenges will have you taken care of, so there is not real need to worry about having to play extra for this one. Now, the "Light Fuse, Run Away" challenge will probably bring in about twenty or so kills, the "Return of the Mack" challenge around a hundred, and, finally, the "Flat Tire" challenge will probably give you anywhere between two-hundred and forty to six-hundred kills. Now, that all adds up to well over a hundred and eighty kills so enjoy these free credits.

Flat Tire - Kill 10 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2343cR
This, as usual will be the focal point challenge of the day and will likely take all of your attention. Unfortunately, you will need the full ten vehicle kills today. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills by kiting around the final enemies, typically Hunters. Unfortunately, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take four to five games to complete or maybe even two if you get really lucky.

Return of the Mack - Kill 50 Elites in Campaign today on Normal or harder. - 1700cR
Elites are the hardest enemies that you will face in Campaign but they are neither rare nor extremely plentiful in the game. The best mission to find them on is ONI: Swordbase, the second level of the campaign. Play on Heroic so AI teammates are not stealing your kills. As well, remember that as long as you damage the Elite, an AI teammate can get the kill and it will still count as yours. One playthrough of ONI will likely not be enough to complete this challenge so play through to Nightfall if you need to or replay this level.

Light Fuse, Run Away - Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2100cR
In Reach you have two main grenades types you can use to score kills. The Plasma (Sticky) Grenade and the Fragmentation (Frag) Grenade. Now, Multi Team has always been good for getting Grenades kills for me, especially objective-based Multi Team games, since there are so many targets that are fighting each other. Crazy King is especially good for this challenge since you now where everyone is going and can just toss grenades into the hill. Should take a single game to complete but be prepared for two or three. You have no other multiplayer Matchmaking challenges today so do not expect any help in getting this challenge taken care of.
