The Challenges:
Fire When Ready - Kill 30 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking - 2100cR
Overall, the challenges today are sporting some pretty low credit values, which is a bummer since you do not even need to play a lot of games to complete these challenges. Regardless, the thirty kills for this challenge should be pretty easy to obtain. I am encouraging you to play Multi Team and Living Dead for the other challenges and, as those challenges can be done in one or two games, that should get you near thirty kills. You should be hitting ten to fifteen kill per game on average, and even more in Multi Team. Just play another game if you need to finish off these kills.

Showtime - Earn 5 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1250cR
Now, you earn an assists whenever you deal at least forty percent damage to an opponent who is then kill by someone else. They call it an "assist", I call it "my kill being stolen". Either way, that is the name of the game for this challenge. Now, the best playlist I have seen for getting assists is Multi Team due to the large number of players and due to the large number of targets and people to steal kills from you. Go for smaller maps that have a large open space, like Countdown, and just hang near the open space taking down the shields and slightly damaging anyone who comes in there (besides teammates of course). You should be able to get this done in a single game and still get a bunch of kills to help with "Fire When Ready."

Double Nickels - Earn 2 Killing Sprees in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 3000cR
A Killing Spree in multiplayer Matchmaking is when you score five straight kills, uninterrupted by death or the end of a round. You need two of those in a single game today, which is not easy for most people, myself included. However, if you are in the right playlist, it does become a bit easier. For our purposes, that playlist will be Living Dead where, if you are a survivor for at least two of the three rounds, this challenge is possible. Stay in a group with other survivors in a defensible position. Use Pistols at range and automatically switch to Shotguns if the zombies get close enough. Do not stick to Pistols at close range, as the Sword lunges will really mess you up. Now, this says two "Killing Sprees" so a Killing Frenzy will likely not get this done for you. Two separate sprees are the goal.

Iron Will - Complete a Campaign mission alone on Heroic or harder with the Iron Skull on. - 2500cR
We should know the drill by now every time we see this challenge or any challenge asking for completion of a campaign mission with random skulls on. The "drill" is to run through the mission Nightfall, a guide to which can be seen right here. Now, the Iron Skull, when running solo, makes it so every time you die, you have to start the mission over from the beginning. However, you should not die speedrunning Nightfall especially on Heroic, which is easy as hell and only takes about seven to ten minutes to run through. Another option is Winter Contingency, but those Elites at the end can be a real pain.

  1. Another option to consider for the double nickels and the fire when ready is grifball. I got my sprees and 30 kills in one game. SInce once you get a hammer spree, you get a killing spree as well. Then if you're timing is good enough you can get at least 10 kills a round or more. (as long as the bomb is dropped quickly.)
