Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 9/17/12

The Challenges:
Fire When Ready - Kill 30 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking - 2100cR
Hopefully, thirty kills is not at all a challenge today and gets done rather quickly. I am urging you to play in the Invasion playlist for the "Explosive Ordnance Distribution" challenge and that should make life a bit easier in terms of getting kills. If you are having trouble getting kills while working on the other challenge, Grifball is always an option, or just any gametype that you regularly have success in. You do need to play six games at the least today so you can likely through in whatever gametype you want at the end. It is all based on what you want to do so get to it.

Explosive Ordnance Distribution - Earn 7 kills with ordnance weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2400cR
I hate this challenge now. I mean, I did not like it before, but now that Action Sack is gone, it just seems pointless. Anyway, ordinance weapons in Reach include the Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, Plasma Launcher, and the Concussion Rifle. The Rocket Launcher would be your preferred weapon but it is also the hardest to find so you will likely need to rely upon the Grenade Launcher and the Concussion Rifle. Now, since Action Sack has been removed from Matchmaking the next best source, which I forgot of before, is Invasion. You can do regular Invasion or Invasion Slayer but do remember that Hemorrhage is not a great map for explosive ordnance kills (it's too flat) so stick to the other maps. You need to get seven kills so this will definitely take some tries to complete. Be patient, though.

Double Double - Earn 2 Double Kills in the same match in Multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Now, a Double Kill is when you score two kills within four seconds of each other and this is the most common type of multi kill. You will need to space these out so you do not stack to high multi kills, which will not count for this challenge. Your best bet for getting these Double Kills is, without a doubt, Grifball as it allows you to score tons and tons of kill and multi kills. However, you will definitely have the chance to get Double Kills if you are working with explosive ordnance to try to get some there as well. If you do not get them while working on "Explosive Ordnance Distribution" then head to Grifball.

Credits for Completion - Complete 6 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 1300cR
Well, six games today is not bad at all. Winning six games would likely be irritating, but not this. Now, You will likely be playing two to three games for the "Explosive Ordnance Distribution" challenge and then an additional one for "Double Double" or possibly none. It all depends on how you do. For the remaining games, just have fun and play whatever you want to, it does not matter what gametypes you pick or what playlist you are in as long as you complete multiplayer Matchmaking games. Playing with friends and relaxing will make it all go faster, do not stress over wins and such.

The Weekly Challenge:
Dedication/Time - Complete 10 Daily Challenges this week. - 25000cR

Hmm, only ten Daily Challenge for completion this week and you get a massive twenty-five thousand credits. Whatever metric they use to decide these credits values is way beyond me, but it is obviously a very shitty one. Now, you can complete up to four challenges a day, as you are only given four, and so if you start today, you will finish this on Wednesday. The latest you can start this challenge is on Friday which will see you completing it on Sunday. Probably easiest if you just beat the challenge every day during the start of the week, in my opinion, and then you do not have to worry about missing any later in the week. Damn, I wish they would give us some better Weekly Challenges though.
