Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 8/5/13

The Challenges:

Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, this challenge should really not take too much work today. If you look below, you will notice that there are only two real challenges, "L.D. Winter" and "Who's the Big Winner?" Now, "Who's The Big Winner" will likely provide about a hundred and seventy kills or so, as it completely takes care of "Fire When Ready." That number may be higher depending on the gametypes you pick. The "L.D. Winter" challenge will also add some kills because, unlike Nightfall where you can skip everything, Winter Contingency has some people that you actually have to kill. Expect it to add another fifty or so kills, therefore completing this challenge.

Fire When Ready - Kill 50 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking - 3000cR
Well, besides this challenge which is asking you to score fifty kills today in multiplayer Matchmaking, there is one other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge. The "Who's the Big Winner?" challenge, however, will almost definitely take care of all these. You get about twelve kills per game on average so fifteen games will give you well over a hundred and fifty kills. Not really much more to see here. You can likely get this done even faster by playing in gametypes like Grifball or objective-based gametypes. Good luck.

L.D. Winter - Complete Winter, without dying, on Legendary with Mythic, Thunderstorm, Tilt, and Tough Luck on. - 5000cR
Sparing Nightfall, Winter Contingency is probably the easiest campaign mission with New Alexandria as a close second. You can run through large portions of Winter Contingency but you must face some enemies. (Follow this guide for where you can run through.) Now, the Mythic Skull will double all enemy health, the Thunderstorm Skull will upgrade all enemies, the Tilt Skull will make their weapons more powerful, and the Tough Luck Skull will make them dodge more. However, you can die as much as you want for this challenge. To get around the "without dying" part, simply Quit and Save before hitting the button to complete the level. Then hit Resume Campaign and finish the level without dying for credit. So simple.

Who's the Big Winner? - Win 15 games in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Well, at least this challenge is back to being for less wins but worth more credits. This is still a lot of wins, however, so be ready for the long haul. Well, scoring wins will all be about playing to your strengths and sticking to gametypes with only two teams of no more than five players. If you are really good at Slayer, than stick to Slayer. If objective gametypes are your thing, play those. There is no set strategy for scoring a win in Halo as it is highly dependent on your team and your competition. Just try to have fun and take breaks, a lot of breaks. Get the other challenges done first and then worry about this one since the others are not even in this game-mode.

The Weekly Challenge:
Your Daily Dose - Complete all of the Daily Challenges for a given day. - 20343cR

Well, I'm not sure you really need any strategy or explanation for this challenge, to be honest. Every day there are four challenges for you to complete. Complete all four any day this week and these credits will be yours. This is a very easy challenge and requires absolutely zero extra effort on your part if you are going for the challenges anyway. Whatever day you do it is up to you but, well, there is no time like the present. Might as well get all this done now so you do not have to worry about this challenge later. Remember, this is basically a crap-ton of free credits so have at it.
