The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Well, seventy-seven kills today should not be much of a challenge, to be honest. You need to win five games today, for the 'Five-time Champ" challenge and then you also need to score seventy-seven automatic weapon kills for the "Now I have a Machine Gun" challenge. Seventy-seven kills. Now, unless I am mistaken and am just really tired, that is exactly how many kills you need to complete this challenge. This means that you will need to complete absolutely no extra work for this challenge. It is all taken care of so do not worry about it and enjoy the credits.
Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 77 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 4400cR
Automatic weapons in Halo Reach include the AR, the Plasma Rifle, the Plasma Repeater, the Needler, and the Brute Spiker. You will not really get to see the Brute Spike too much in multiplayer Matchmaking so focus on the AR and the Needler. Multi Team has always fared well for me with this challenge since you almost always start out with an AR and everyone is killing each other. This means that picking off kills with the AR is quite easy. This may take five to six games to complete, however, so be ready to put a bunch of time into it. Luckily, you have the "Five-Time Champ" challenge asking you to win five games so complete that first and then finish off the remaining kills that you need.

The Challenges:
Game Over, Man! - Complete 2 matchmaking War Games matches. - 400 XP
None of the Weekly challenges will really be pushing you towards this challenge as they do not require too many games every day. The "Spartan Takedown" challenge, however, will likely take a few games, probably three or four, to be completed. The hope is that it will take care of this challenge and will require very little work from you. I mean completing two games is extremely easy. You don't even need wins, just finish the game. Now, in Halo 4 join-session-in-progress games will count for this challenge but quitting early, disconnecting, or getting booted will not count so try not to do that too often. Just two games and this one is all done.

The Challenges:
Light Fare - Kill 100 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 3000cR
As usual, for a Thursday, it is time for a day full of Firefight Matchmaking challenges, much to the surprise of no one. This challenge is especially easy today since you will likely be playing about two games for the other challenges today. "Heroic Holdout" will have you playing a single game of 2X Score Attack for a hundred and twenty kills while "Above the Law" will have you completing a game in the Firefight playlist for another hundred or so kills. "Katanarama" will not add any extra kills but they are not really needed. The two-hundred or so you get from the other challenges will take care of this one for you.
Heroic Holdout - Kill 100 enemies on Holdout on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Now, the only reason I sort of like Holdout now is because of those static Banshee spawns which always help me out with the "Flat Tire" every so often. How do I feel about it when I do not need those vehicle kills? Meh. It is decent enough, I guess, but not one of the best maps I have seen. Now, your best option for this will actually be the Score Attack playlist. You can play a single game of Score Attack and get all these kills in a single go. You should get about a hundred and twenty on average so this is pretty much taken care of. Go for 2X Score Attack to help with the "Katanarama" challenge. Do this challenge last, however, since you may get this map for "Above the Law."

The Challenges:
Spartan Master Killer - Kill 5 Players in a single War Games match. - 400 XP
What is the point of having a challenge like this if the reward is going to be so low? You can get that in a single game while just playing normally. Makes no sense. Anyway, this first challenge, asking you to score five kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, you need a playlist with a lot of players and no kill limit. That pretty much means Dominion or Grifball. I would head for the larger vehicles, like Scorpion and Wraith Tanks. Stay near bases to play defense and you should have no trouble racking up the kills. Grifball allows you to get an insane number of kills regardless. This is also doable in most other slayer-based playlists, just easier in Dominion and Grifball.

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 77 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 3500cR
Besides the "Put Your Quarter Up" challenge, there are no other multiplayer Matchmaking challenges today. Luckily for us, the other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge will undoubtedly take care of this one for you. Seventy-seven kills is not a lot to begin with but the other challenge has you completing twelve games today. A single game will typically get you about ten to twelve kills so you are already looking at a minimum of a hundred and twenty or so kills today. I'm pretty sure that will take care of the seventy-seven needed for this challenge.
Supporting Role - Earn 20 assists in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2500cR
Well, you will need to play Firefight today for this challenge, but the catch is that you will need to play with teammates so you get assists. You are awarded an assist when you deal forty percent damage to an enemy that is then, quickly, killed by someone else. The trick is that you need to communicate with your teammates and let them know that you are going for assists. You can definitely get twenty in a single game but do not be afraid to spread it out to two games if needed. Since I am suggesting the standard Firefight Playlist, Arcadefight is likely a great playlist for this challenge but you will not see a lot of assists until the second round, which is when the Mythic Skull is turned on. Just try to communicate with the other players and you can easily get this done in a single game.

The Challenges:
Deposed! - Earn 3 Regicides in a single match. - 500 XP
Well, I wonder if this challenge could be made any easier. They could perhaps only ask for a single "Regicide." Still not onboard with this gametype at all, though. Now, a Regicide is earned when you kill the king in a game of Regicide. It used to be that this challenge required ten in a single game, but this lower total will make things much easier. Expect the typical douche-like behavior from some people who are just going for kills and not the king. I have score eleven in a game before in FFA Regicide, but I am not expecting such glowing results today. Try to play with a few friends, if you can, as that way you can coordinate with them to take down the king faster. The longer the king stays alive, the higher his bounty probably is, and you want it as low as possible. Should take a single game to complete.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
Well, the hope today is that this challenge will be taken care of by the "One Game, One Spawn" challenge which it may or may not do. It is asking you to survive an entire game of Firefight without dying. You will need to complete at least on game for this challenge in the Score Attack playlist which will bring in a hundred and twenty kills, just enough to complete this challenge. There is a definite chance that you can end up short of this number, however, so pick a large map. Covies are less likely to kill themselves on larger maps.
One Game, One Spawn - Complete a Firefight Matchmaking game without dying. - 2000cR
For this challenge, you need to go an entire game without dying, which is likely harder than it sounds. In regular Firefight, there are three other players but the games needs to complete if you want to be awarded this challenge. The other option, which can be more challenging, is to player 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse. Go for a map like Beachhead or Glacier so you can hide and pick off the enemy. Remember, you must complete all waves for the challenge to pop. Gruntpocalypse or Arcadefight are probably your best bets for this challenge. This is the only Firefight challenge today, besides "Covenant-cide," so you are pretty much on your own for it.

The Challenges:
More than a Handful - Kill 125 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2500cR
For the first time in a long time, this challenge will not get taken care of today by the other challenges. I know, I know. It's shocking. Regardless, there is only one other multiplayer Matchmaking challenge today, "Came From Behind" and it will likely only get you thirty to forty kills at most. The other eighty-five to ninety-five kills will need to be one your own. Grifball is a great playlist as it will allow you to get about thirty or more kills per game. Play about three to four games of that and this challenge is taken care of anyway.
Came From Behind - Perform 3 Assassinations in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 1200cR
To score an assassination in multiplayer Matchmaking you need to get behind an enemy and hold down the melee button. Doing so will trigger an animation that needs to mostly complete for the assassination to count. Now, scoring three in a single game can definitely be challenging so head to the Team Snipers playlist. In Teams Snipers, players tend to lose focus and can be easily flanked, especially on small maps. Assassination on inclines and in the hair occur quicker so aim for those if you are getting "Showstopped" often. This will likely not happen while working on the other challenges so go for this one first.

The Challenges:
Oh, It's On! - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Mythic, Tilt, Storm and Tough Luck skulls. - 2750 XP
This is all still running in the same patter as before to the surprise of absolutely no one but with drastically less XP. That is somewhat annoying. I wonder if 343 knows that they are slowly killing Halo with all this crap. Probably not, but they will figure it out eventually, one might hope. The only real difference is that this one can be on Heroic instead of Legendary. None of these need to be done solo and if you want to get this out of the way now, you can run through the level Dawn on the lower difficulty. Check the challenge below to see the various effects of the skulls. In all honesty, just get this done when doing "Reclamation" as it is a lot easier that way.

The Challenges:
Spartan Master Killer - Kill 10 Players in a single War Games match. - 800 XP
Eight-hundred points? What is the point of anyone trying to complete this challenge? You can get that in a single game. Makes no sense. Anyway, this first challenge, asking you to score ten kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, you need a playlist with a lot of player and no kill limit. Complete "Dominator" first, however.
Dominator - Win 2 matchmaking Dominion matches. - 625 XP
You know, I just never really got into the Dominion gametype. I guess I still miss Invasion, but hopefully that will be back for Halo 5. Now, Dominion is a gametype where there are three bases which you can capture and holding them for a certain amount of time gives you points. The first team to four-hundred points wins. Having a team that knows the maps and how to hold the bases is a must for this gametypes. If you have a lot of back and forth, the game will go on longer than it needs to. Now, you can also capture all the bases and then, if you kill the entire other team, the game will end with your victory. Just two wins for the day and you will be all set.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 100 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
Well, this challenge should be extremely easy today as the kills needed for this challenge are already taken care of for you by the other Firefight Matchmaking challenges today. The "Demon" challenge should get you about two-hundred and forty kills and the "Survivor" challenge will get you pretty much no extra kills. These a hundred kills will be done in the first game and this challenge will be no trouble at all. Move along.
Demon - Kill 40 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2800cR
Well, this will be nowhere near as hard as it was before but it is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today. Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two to three games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack playlist. In the Score Attack playlist, you will want to aim for the 2X Score Attack gametype. The final wave of every game will have about twenty Elites for you to kill. This means that you will need to play at least two games to finish off this challenge. You can also play in the standard Firefight playlist, but it will take longer.

The Challenges:
Spray And Pray - Get 25 kills with an Automatic Loadout Weapon. - 500 XP
Automatic Loadout Weapons in Halo 4 include the AR (Automatic Rifle), the Storm Rifle, and the Suppressor. The Needler and the Chain Gun do not count for these challenges as you cannot equip them in loadouts. These fifteen kills, luckily, do not need to be in a single game and can be earned over the entire day. Whichever weapon you choose will depend on several things, the first of which being what weapons you have unlocked, the next being the type of combat you prefer. The Storm Rifle has the tightest spread but is the weakest while the Suppressor is the most powerful but is the most inaccurate. The AR sits in the middle being the best compromise to both weapons with a decently concentrated spread and good power behind it. I would stick to objective gametypes as they will allow you to get in close quarters and score these kills. Expect this challenge to take a game or two to complete so do "Drop Bear!" first.

The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
This is the only non-multiplayer Matchmaking challenge of the day, so do not look for any help from the other challenges. That is fine, however, since this challenge is easy enough in its own right. A hundred and twenty kills is what you would typically score in a single game in the Score Attack playlist. Whether that gametype is 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse, either one should get this challenge done. You might fall a bit short but then just play one extra game to finish this challenge off.
Light Fuse, Run Away - Kill 4 enemies with grenades in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2100cR
In Reach you have two main grenades types you can use to score kills. The Plasma (Sticky) Grenade and the Fragmentation (Frag) Grenade. Now, Multi Team has always been good for getting Grenades kills for me, especially objective-based Multi Team games, since there are so many targets that are fighting each other. Crazy King is especially good for this challenge since you now where everyone is going and can just toss grenades into the hill. Should take a single game to complete but be prepared for two or three. You have two other multiplayer Matchmaking challenges today but neither of them will likely help you get this one done, so do it first.

The Pistolero - Get 8 kills with a Secondary Weapon in a single match. - 750 XP
Secondary weapons in Halo 4 include the Magnum Pistol, the Plasma Pistol, and the Boltshot. You will not be scoring many kills with the Plasma Pistol so do not even worry about it. Since SWAT is an available playlist, this challenge is actually extremely easy to complete. Stick to the Magnum on smaller maps like Haven and go for headshots on your unshielded foes. The Boltshot is also viable and best used on a map like Adrift which has a lot more close quarters areas and in objective gametypes. You will need to spend a game exclusively focusing on these weapons if you plan on completing this challenge. Good luck.

The Challenges:
Fire When Ready - Kill 30 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking - 2100cR
So you need thirty kills today in multiplayer Matchmaking. That sure sounds super difficult. Way to put up a challenge that, like, only a hundred percent of the people playing will get 343i! /sarcasm Now, you will not need to do any extra work for this challenge. The "Now I have a Machine Gun" challenge will likely get you damn near eighty to a hundred kills and the "Up Close and Personal" challenge will probably get you around thirty kills. All in all, that means this challenge is taken care of.
Now I have a Machine Gun - Earn 60 kills with automatic weapons in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2350cR

The Challenges:
Deadeye - Kill 40 Players with a headshot. - 3250 XP
To score a headshot in War Games, you will need a headshot capable weapon. In Halo 4, these include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Magnum Pistol, the Sniper Rifle, the Covenant Carbine, the Beam Rifle, the Light Rifle, and the Binary Cannon. Now, usually when we see this challenge, it is asking for twelve or so kills so they have upped the ante a lot today. Complete "We Are The Chamipons" first as you are likely to score some headshots there if since it is just basic Slayer. The easiest way to score these headshots will be in a gametype like SWAT where almost all of the kills are headshots and it is also a Slayer gametype. Just play normally while you amass these headshots. It should not take more than four or five games.

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, a hundred and eighty kills today should actually be quite easy to come by thanks to the other challenge. "The T.G. Opposition" will bring in about a hundred kills by itself while the "Just Holdout" challenge will bring in another two-hundred and forty kills. "Hyper Lethal Vector" may add in a few kills but not many due to it probably being taken care of by the other challenges, just like this one. I highly doubt that any extra games will need to be played to finish this challenge off.
Hyper Lethal Vector - Kill 150 enemies with headshots in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2125cR
To score headshots in Reach, you need a headshot capable weapon. This grouping includes the DMR, the Sniper Rifle, the Magnum Pistol, the Needle Rifle, and the Covenant Focus Beam. Now, a hundred headshots will take about two games to complete since you can only score about a hundred and twenty kills per game and not all of them will be headshots. Now, you will be playing a bunch of games in the Score Attack playlist for the "The T.G. Opposition" and "Just Holdout" challenges and they will likely take care of some of these kills for you. For the remainder, you will likely need to play an extra game.

Threading The Needle - Kill 12 Players with a headshot in a single match. - 1250 XP
To score headshots in Halo 4, you need a headshot capable weapon. This means a DMR, BR, Magnum Pistol, Light Rifle, Covenant Carbine, Sniper Rifle, Covenant Beam Rifle, or a Binary Cannon. The BR, DMR, Light Rifle, and Covenant Carbine are all loadout weapons so if you play in playlist that are objective-based or have high kill limits, you should have no problem completing this challenge. If you are having trouble reaching eleven headshots in a single game, head to the SWAT playlist. SWAT will allow you to immediately score headshots and will also allow you easy access to the DMR and BR. Try to work on "We Are The Champions" challenge first, as you will likely get a bunch of headshots while working on it.

The Challenges:
Shootin' and Lootin' - Kill 150 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 5343cR
Well, a hundred and fifty enemy kills today actually does not look too challenging when all the other challenges are taken into account. Basically, the "That Pink Mist" challenge will bring in about a hundred and twenty to two-hundred and forty kills, the "There Are Many Like..." challenge will bring in about a hundred kills, and the "Now I have a Machine Gun" challenge will bring in a further thirty to forty kills. All in all, nothing for you to be worried about as this challenge is completely taken care of about twice over.
That Pink Mist - Kill 40 enemies with a Supercombine from the Needler or Needle Rifle in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2200cR
So this will definitely be one of the harder challenges of the day. A Supercombine occurs when you stick enough enemies with needles that the resulting explosion kills them. It has to be the explosion that kills them, not the final needs that trigger the explosion, which is what happens with all Grunts unless the Mythic Skull is on. Now, the Firefight playlist is your best bet for this challenge and you will want the gametype Arcadefight as it will allow you to choose a loadout with an FRG and a Needler. These weapons will have unlimited ammunition. Now, this might take two games because you will have three other players to compete with, but expect the kills to start going up once the second round starts as the Mythic Skull will then be on.

It used to be that fifteen kills would get you almost three-thousand experience points. Well, not quite anymore. This first challenge, asking you to score twenty kills in a single game can be completed in no time at all. First off, you need a playlist with a lot of player and no kill limit. That pretty much means Dominion or Grifball. In Dominion, I would head for the larger vehicles, like Scorpion and Wraith Tanks. Stay near bases to play defense and you should have no trouble racking up the kills. Grifball allows you to get an insane number of kills regardless. The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
A hundred and eighty kills should, generally, be a walk in the park today. You have challenges for all the major modes, meaning Campaign, Firefight, and multiplayer Matchmaking. The "Flat Tire" challenge will have you scoring probably around two-hundred and forty kills, the "L.D. Winter" challenge will likely bring in another forty or so, and the "... Got a Triple Double" challenge will bring in about thirty or so kills. All in all, this challenge is definitely taken care of once all this is add together.
Flat Tire - Kill 5 enemy vehicles in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2000cR
This, as usual will be the focal point challenge of the day and will likely take all of your attention. Thankfully, you will only need five vehicle kills today. Now, the only map you can really do this on successfully will be Holdout as it has static Banshee spawns which send you Banshees every two to four minutes. Make the game last as long as possible to get about three to four kills by kiting around the final enemies, typically Hunters. Unfortunately, 2X Score Attack will not work for this challenge. Instead, aim for Sniper, Rocket, or FRG Attack. Expect this to take two to three games to complete or maybe even one if you get really lucky.

The Challenges:
The Kill-O-Tron - Earn 3 Multikill medals in a single match. - 900 XP
So, Grifball is still here since it was introduced into matchmaking some time ago. Due to that addition, this challenge is easy as hell and will take absolutely no time to accomplish. First off, a multikill is earned when you score multiple kills within four and a half seconds of each other. With two kills this will be a Double Kill but you can take this up to ten kills for a Killionaire (nine multikills). Now, Grifball has you equipped only with Gravity Hammers and Energy Swords. If you have yet to venture into this playlist, it will take some adjustment from Reach, but not much. You can play up to five rounds in a close game so you have plenty of time to score these multikills. Dominion is another options if Grifball does not agree with you.

Halo Reach Daily and Weekly Challenges Guide - 5/20/13
Please subscribe above this and/or follow me on twitter! Have any ideas or comments about the challenges? Post them down below!
The Challenges:
Covenant-cide - Kill 120 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3200cR
There is one other Firefight Matchmaking Daily challenge today and it should more than take care of this challenge, which is asking you for a hundred and twenty kills in that game-mode. The "Demon" challenge is asking you for fifty Elite kills today and, since that will take about three games to complete, this should finish off this challenge. Every game you play will get you about a hundred and twenty kills which means that this challenge will be done in pretty much your first game. No need to worry about it, it is all taken care of.
Gunslinger - Kill 75 enemies in multiplayer Matchmaking. - 2250cR
It is quite rare that we get two of these challenges to just get kills in a mode for one today. Well, hopefully it does not become a trend. Well, there is a chance that the "Better, Closer, Warmer" challenge will take care of this one for you, but it is miniscule. More than likely, you will need to play some extra games to finish this challenge off. Stick to Objective games as they will allow you to score a bunch of kills due to the lack of a kill limit. Grifball is probably the best option as you can score thirty to forty kills per game. Invasion, Big Team Battle, and Multi Team are also some worthwhile options.
Demon - Kill 50 Elites in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
Well, this will be nowhere near as hard as it was before but it is the only Firefight Matchmaking challenge today sparing "Covenant-cide." Elites are the hardest enemies to kill in Firefight Matchmaking. This challenge will, however, most likely take two to three games to complete since I am urging you to play in the Score Attack playlist. In the Score Attack playlist, you will want to aim for the 2X Score Attack gametype. The final wave of every game will have about twenty Elites for you to kill. This means that you will need to play at least three games to finish off this challenge. You can also play in the standard Firefight playlist, but it will take longer. Work on this after doing what you need to today for the Weekly Challenge.
Better, Closer, Warmer - Earn at least 10 kills in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2500cR
To be extremely honest, you should have no trouble with this challenge. This score total is well below what you should be hitting on average in even a slayer match in which kills can be limited. However, if today is proving difficult for you for scoring kills, head to an objective gametype where you have more time or just head to Grifball. Grifball makes everything easier as it will allow you to score almost thirty kills per game and no one has anywhere to hide as well as spawning really fast. Complete this challenge after "Gunslinger" if need be.
The Weekly Challenge:

The Challenges:
Prediction: Pain - Complete any Campaign Mission on Heroic or higher difficulty with the Famine, Luck and Thunderstorm skulls. - 2500 XP
Well, both of these challenges used to be worth about four-times as much XP. That sucks. So, unlike previous weeks, this challenge is not requiring the same skulls as the mission specific one below. You could simply add on the Famine skull while running through Infinity but I would definitely not recommend it as ammunition is very precious in Halo 4. Instead, as usual, I would recommend that you run through the level Dawn on Heroic difficulty with the indicated skulls. Famine will cause all dropped weapons to have half as much ammunition, the Tough Luck skull will cause all enemies to dodge more often, and the Thunderstorm skull will upgrade all enemies. Adding Tilt and Mythic to that sound like a horrible idea to me for so little credits.

The Challenges:
To Be Precise - Get 20 kills with a Precision Loadout Weapon. - 700 XP
Precision Loadout weapons in Halo 4 include the DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle), the BR (Battle Rifle), the Covenant Carbine, and the Light Rifle. These are all the precision weapons that you can add to a customized loadout. Sniper, Binary Cannon, and Covenant Beam Rifle do not fall into this category. Now, some playlists, like SWAT, have you exclusively using these weapons and these are your best bets for completing these challenges. As all these games require sixty kills now, but your average number of kills should jump up a little, though twenty kills will remain out of range for most players in a regular game. As well, objective gametypes are good for this challenge as there is no kill limit and you can exclusively use a precision weapons in your loadouts. These do not need to be done in a single game however, so just try to have fun.
In The Back - Assassinate 5 Players. - 750 XP
Assassinations are not too hard to come by but, this time, you will need to bring in five assassinations overall, however. Now, to score an assassination, you need to go behind an enemy and hold down the melee button. An animation will then trigger that needs to mostly complete for the assassination to count. Now, Regicide, along with Team Snipers, is probably the best spot to score assassination in any sort of Slayer game since Team Slayer Pro was taken away. Generally, however, you will want to stick to objective games since you can then hide and ambush people. Basically, pick your poison for this challenge. Expect it to take a three or four games to score these assassinations.

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
Well, again, as it was many days this week, it is unclear whether or not this challenge will get taken care of by the other challenges. I believe that this challenge will get taken care of today due to "...And Recreation" needing a hundred and twenty-five kills along with the "L.D. ONI" challenge bringing in probably eighty or so kills. If you end up doing co-operative play for the Campaign challenge, than the Weekly Challenge will likely finish this challenge off for you if you have yet to complete it.
...And Recreation - Kill 125 enemies on Beachhead on Heroic in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
You will want to aim for the Score Attack playlist for this challenge. A hundred and twenty kills is about what you would get for this challenge in 2X Score Attack of Gruntpocalypse but there is a very slight chance you can get multiple drop-pods and score past a hundred and twenty-five. However, expect this to take two games and aim for Crashsite for the final game. This way you can get the kills you need and then die or let the generator explode to end the game legitimately without quitting.

The Challenges:
Deft Hand - Earn 25 Combat Skill Medals. - 2000 XP
Combat Skill medals include the Killjoy, Headcase, From the Grave, Reload This, and Showstopper medals. You need twenty-five of these overall today and so you will need to be ready to play a lot of games. Use precision weapons (DMR, BR, Light Rifle, Sniper) to score Headcase (headshot on a running target) medals and then use grenades when you are near death for the From the Grave medal. Reload This is pretty much dependent on the other player but people need to reload their weapons. Killyjoys and Showstopper are a bit more rare and harder to get so do not focus on them. You can expect to get about two to four medals a game. Complete "Dominator" first, however, as you will probably get some Combat Skill medals while playing it.

The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2250cR
Now that we are on to the weekend, it is typical for the challenges to have you going through every single game mode of Reach. Today is no different. The only challenge that will have you in the Firefight Matchmaking mode, however, is this one. A hundred and fifty kills is a somewhat dubious position, to be honest. A typical game in the Score Attack playlist will get you about a hundred and twenty kills and a game in the Firefight playlist even less. Therefore, expect to play two games to complete this challenge. The second game can be Crashsite as that will allow you to get the kills you need and then end the game by dying or letting the generator explode.
Not as Clumsy or Random... - Earn 5 kills with precision weapons in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
Thankfully, this challenge is very, very easy and should only take a single game to complete. The trick is to make sure that you are using the rights playlist and gametype for the challenge. For our purposes, needing kills with precision weapons (DMR, Sniper Rifle, Needle Rifle, and Covenant Beam Rifle), we will want to play in either the Team Snipers or Team SWAT playlist which use the Sniper Rifle and DMR respectively. Five kills will be easy enough to hit in a single game as you should be hitting ten to fifteen kills per game anyway. One game and then just move on to the other challenges.

The Challenges:
Deadeye - Kill 100 Players with a headshot. - 2500 XP
Complete "Take The Hill!" first as you are likely to score some headshots there as it will take a lot of games to complete. Afterwards, the easiest way to score these headshots will be in a gametype like SWAT where almost all of the kills are headshots. Just play normally while you amass these headshots. It should not take more than eight or ten games.

The Challenges:
Blastin' and Relaxin' - Kill 180 enemies in any game mode in Reach. - 2343cR
So, the other challenges today will not take care of this challenge. Like, at all. All total, you may get thirty to forty kills from those challenges leaving you still well short of the a hundred and eighty needed for this challenge. However, we do have the Weekly Challenge, which has you playing at least three or so games of Firefight Matchmaking a day, unless you went ahead and finished it already. If that is so, then you will have to play a game or two in the Score Attack playlist to finish this challenge off. Get to it.
No 'I' in Team - Earn 8 assists in a multiplayer Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
Eight assists in is normally not a challenge, but eight assists in a single game sure is challenging. Multi Team is really the best option for this challenge and you will need to have the right mindset to complete this challenge. Do not go for kills. As simple as that. Now, I know that is a hard mindset for most people playing this game. However, if you are attacking a player in a well populated area and stop right when bringing down the shields, you will likely get an assist. Throw a grenade at some and then turn your attention to someone else. As well, stick near your teammates since they will always love to steal your kills. Eight might be hard to hit, but keep at it with the right mindset and you should have it in a couple games.
