The Challenges:
One Spartan Army - Kill 150 enemies in Firefight Matchmaking. - 2250cR
I like days like today. It is, first off, a Firefight Thursday and Firefight it probably one of the most enjoyable FPS gaming modes to come around in the last decade. Secondly, even though we have some very hefty challenges, they are going to completely take care of this challenge. You need a hundred and fifty kills in Firefight Matchmaking today, overall, not in a single game. The "A Walk in the..." challenge will be bringing in a thousand or so kills with the "Grunt Spelunking" challenge bringing in another a hundred or so. Seems like the hundred and fifty needed for this challenge will not really be a problem.

Survivor - Earn 9 Sprees in a Firefight Matchmaking game. - 2000cR
A spree in Firefight Matchmaking is earned when you score ten kills in a row without dying. You can get up to five sprees, four short of what you need for this challenge, by scoring fifty kills without dying. You should be scoring these quite easily so this challenge should take little time to complete. This challenge does not stipulate just Killing Sprees so weapon and other miscellaneous sprees will also count. Once you hit fifty kills I would just die so you can start those sprees over and have this done in no time flat. 2X Score Attack and Gruntpocalypse are the preferred gametypes for this challenge. You will likely get this done while working on the other two main challenges today, "A Walk in the..." and "Grunt Spelunking."

A Walk in the... - Kill 1000 enemies on Beachhead in Firefight Matchmaking. - 3000cR
So, this will be the big challenge of the day, clearly, and will take most of your time today. No point in fighting it as this challenge is not actually hard, just a grind. Now, you only really have on option for this challenge nowadays. Head into the Score Attack playlist, where you will get about a hundred and twenty kills per game, meaning you need to play nine games. Try to go for 2X Score Attack or Gruntpocalypse as either one will allow you to get a bunch of kills quite easily. You can try for the Firefight playlist, but I would not recommend it as getting this map will be difficult.

Grunt Spelunking - Kill 125 enemies on Glacier in Firefight Matchmaking. - 1100cR
Glacier is a very enjoyable map, to be honest. There are many places where you can get great sightlines on every single part of the map (almost). A hundred kills will be very easy to come by and you should be going for the "Survivor" challenge while you do this one. I would go with Gruntpocalypse or 2X Score Attack for this challenge. Since this is on Glacier, Sniper Attack is also always a good choice. I would work on the "A Walk in the..." challenge first, however, since it will take a very long time.
